Rate this book
Sometimes a college fling is just a fling, but sometimes that spark burns forever.

Angel Cruz arrives at Pacific Rim University hard and cold, cut off from his feelings. Meeting Shane Roberts his freshman year changes all that. Free to explore his passions, Angel revels in his relationship with the older and wiser graduate student. But fear, family and the call of adult life outside Pacific Rim’s walls threaten to destroy the fragile world Angel and Shane are building together.

Shane was raised to believe career should come first, and Angel was taught gay men couldn’t forge families. But in Pacific Rim’s IVORY TOWERS, they’ll build a love strong enough to survive growing up.

Book Four in the Ivory Towers series.

Moving towards graduation, Angel struggles with leaving behind aspects of his past. But will Shane convince him that together they can build a future?

It’s Angel’s senior year and time for some tough decisions. Coming out to his grandmother…meeting Shane’s family…Every step Angel takes forward feels like two steps back until he wonders how he’s turned into a guy totally different from who he was when he started school.

Shane feels Angel slipping away but can’t figure out how to drag him back. Things are finally shaping up for Shane—with a new job in the works and a second movie optioned—but he wonders why Angel isn’t ready to move on to a more grown up life.

When a friend from Angel’s past arrives at Pacific Rim University, Angel slips into doubt and confusion over his life and starts to take dangerous risks. When Shane steps in to make things right, he ends up pushing his lover even farther away.

If Shane’s going to keep Angel by his side, it’ll take more than sweet words and great sex. Shane will have to be the family Angel’s lost and replace the life Angel’s leaving behind. And he’ll need to convince Angel to accept all the love and commitment Shane has to offer.

Senior: Uncommitted is the final chapter in Daisy’s Ivory Towers series. This four novella series has taken readers through Angel’s four years at Pacific Rim. We’ve watched him grow and really get to know his self as a man. We’ve read his struggles with life, getting comfortable with who he is, and mostly becoming someone’s other half.

Angel and Shane’s opposite attract has gifted readers with so much sexy sexual tension. It has also given them numerous hurdles to jump over together on their road to a happily ever after. This installment in the series is no different. Christmas with Shane’s family lets Angel know just how different they are. A visit from one of Angel’s high school friends shows Shane just how different they are. They have to figure out if their love for one another is enough.

Oh my, this was one emotional read. Half the time I wanted to choke Angel. The other half of the time I wanted to slap some sense into Shane. These two work as couple so well when they are alone with each other. Add in life and the world and they revert to not knowing how to make it work. This makes for such an angsty read. I don’t know why male male romance work so well this way but the Ivory Towers series from Daisy Harris is a series you don’t want to miss. Just keep in mind these books need to be read in order.

I'm just going to rate all four books here since I read them all today. Basically the writing was very good and the books all entertaining but I just can't buy these two as a lasting couple. Angel never says what he means and Shane spends all his time apologizing because he can't read his mind. They did have some great sex though. That might last them a few more years.

I felt like Ms Harris didn't know where to wrap this series up so she rushed this story. While Shane and Angel have their HEA, I don't see it lasting long unless the two of them begin communicating. I would have prefered a bittersweet ending because these guys are just a trainwreck.

Not a very fulfilling end to the series. The end felt very hasty.
