What do a demon dog, a lovestruck familiar, an enchanted candle, and the postal service have in common? They’re some of the many things Beatrice has had to deal with since she was cursed by her well-meaning grandmother. And now, to make matters worse, her ex-boyfriend is back in town, spearheading the construction of the town’s new post office. Has the curse brought them together again to make her life miserable, or does it have a little something else in mind?

I loved this book. Bee is a candle maker who is cursed by her grandmother until she finds her true love. Samuel is her ex who left town to protect her. Can they figure out the future.
The idea of Beatrice and her accidental family curse was kind of hilarious, and seriously intrigued me. I mean, the curse in and of itself was a fun and interesting one. But, add in the fact that their grandmother was the one who accidentally cursed them? Kind of brilliant. And hilarious. And super, super awkward.
I love this this is a novella, second chance romance. Unlike some of the other books in this series, the couple already know each other and are pretty quick to work back towards one another. There is a little bit more angst than some of the second chance romances that I’ve read recently, but I kind of liked it.
Not going to lie, I picked up this novella partly because I love any story with a pun in the title. Plus, the fact that Beatrice is not only a candle maker, but one who makes candles for the paranormal and a supernatural town was even better. I loved making candles as a kid, so I kind of loved that someone could make an entire career out of it.
There was so much history in this story, and I can’t wait to read more of this series. I mean, this has already introduced Mandy M. Roth to my shelves. And now I have a whole new series to read…
Why has Samuel Gentry left for a few years without a word, leaving his beautiful girlfriend, Beatrice Caillat, behind? After he came back at his grandfather's request, Samuel had to keep away from the woman he loves. Then, one day, a streak of badluck came his way, culminating with heaps of gold coins appearing. What in the world...? As for candlemaker Beatrice, she has been accidentally cursed for years.
Sweet romance, second chance romance, fated mates. Name them, and they are there. A story that his hilariously cute, thanks to Petey Williams (hilarious by himself) and a cat (Beatrice's familiar), a hellhound, a mouse, and a love potion mishap, and thanks to a beautiful love story that visibly refused to end.
Great read, of which I would've definitely taken more than a novella!
More from Hedgewitch Cove! Set in the southern town of Hedgewitch Cove, where all kinds of supernatural beings have made homes for themselves, this is the story of Beatrice Caillat and Samuel Gentry. Bea and Sam were together years ago, but Sam left her…for no reason that she was aware of. Now he’s back and avoiding her. Mandy M. Roth takes these basic facts and writes another fun romance in this short story. Other characters from prior books make appearances which only adds to this world that she’s built. Looking forward to more from Hedgewitch Cove. This is one story from the Anthology "Witching the Night Away". I was given an ARC of this story by the author, and this is my honest opinion.
A treasure worth keeping This one is a quick jump back into the thick of magical shenanigans that happen in this little town. We got to see some of our favorite characters and meet some new ones. The author took us on a journey of second chances and healing as she brought these two to their HEA. I enjoyed the laughs and the experience, but I can’t help hoping we will get to hear more of their story. Possibly getting a chance to see gramps learn all about karma? Anyway, this book is a wonderful addition to the anthology and the series. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
From Witching The Night Away anthology. My review is solely for Mandy M Roth’s story, Candle Me With Care. Such a delight to read. This short story had Samuel leaving his supernatural home town to protect those he loved. Only to return years later. There was humour, magic, love spells backfiring, second chance love and some action. A quick read with great characters that I’d love to see expanded in the future. I received a free copy from Booksprout for my honest review.
A former couple, he's back in town. Why? He left years ago without a word then until now. She has enough to worry about getting ready for an important celebration. With her curse, anything could happen, like the romance kindled by... well you need to read that.
This is a novella with all the fun, romance, and magic, of a full-length book, and so much more. Not one you want to miss, you'll be thinking and smiling about it long after you've finished reading.
I always enjoy visiting the cozy village of Hedgwitch Cove. And who doesn't love a second chance paranormal romance? Thanks to a special true love curse were Samuel and witch Beatrice have another chance to connect. And this time no interfering parent will stop them or their love. So settle into your comfy chair and curl up with this cute story!.

This is my review for Candle Me With Care in the Witching The Night Away Anthology. Gold falling out of thin air? Port-a-potty dominoes? Love crazy cats? Weird happenings but in Hedgewitch Cove that's just an ordinary day and as Samuel and Beatrice find out, it's no use fighting what was meant to be any longer. It may be a short visit but it's a guaranteed good time that I truly enjoyed!.

So far, I have read "Candle Me with Care" by Mandy M. Roth and loved it. This is a great addition to her cozy mystery series set in Hedgewitch Cove. I love everything about this series, but the characters are the best part. There is so much packed into a novella. You get humor, villains, romance and a wedding! What more could you ask for?
My review is for Candle Me with Care from Mandy M. Roth, and it takes place in her Bewitchingly Ever After world. This novella is featured in the Witching the Night Away anthology. Samuel and Beatrice's second chance romance is sweet, hilarious, and entertaining, filled with magic, and action. I enjoyed it! I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Sweet second chance love. Sam tucked tail and ran when his grandfather threatened his best friend and his girlfriend at eighteen. Now he's back and wolf shifter enough to stand up to any threat. Whether or not Beatrice and Rein are ready to accept him back into their lives is the real question, but a little magic makes for wonderful reunions.
Super sweet and funny short story. I loved the love spell gone wrong which added so much fun and laughter to this story! I adore coming back to this town. I so want to read more of what happens this short story just wasn't enough I need more!!
This was a fast paced story that had a little bit of chaos and humour, romance and mystery, Petey as always making things funnier. I definitely would have liked a little bit more, but all in all a fun quick read.

Candle me with Care was a fabulous addition to the Cove stories and highlights from some of the favorites characters. The story revolves around the curse and how it affects Bea and Sam. It was fun to also read about Aggy the cat and her dalliances with the mouse and Furfur.
I just need more! This book took us back to our favorite town and we got to see many of our favorite characters. There was laugh and tears and a second chance romance! It might be a short romance but daaamn it was soooo good!!!!
What an enjoyable book, the storyline is filled with action and humor. I can't wait to read more from this author. I received this book as a Free ARC copy and I voluntarily leave this review.
Loved this short story. Laughed at the curse wreaking havoc again. Thank you for a fun quick story in the the paranormal fun town of characters we love!!!
