You will never get tired leafing through this handy monograph, especially if you just forgot the MLA vs. APA formats. The page tabs or markers, though dog-eared already, brings quick answers to any question or query you may have about grammar, style or usage. The section Five Cs under Style offers writers alternatives to prune his words without compromising creativity.

Should be a helpful handbook for young writers. I'm going to use it in my freshman comp class in January. The reviews say the students like the colorful format although it looks like a cookbook to me.

The organization of this book was a bit confusing at first, but helpful once you figured it out. I plan to keep this for reference even after I don't need it for the course anymore.

More of what most every other writing help book out there will tell you, but broken down nicely. I always love a good spiral or semi-spiral bound book. Very good.

This is a reference book, so no, I didn't sit and read it preface to glossary. But of the many writing handbooks on my top shelf, this endures the most thumbing.
