I really should have read this before Decade of the Wolf because it covers the first year in full color with scads of pictures to bring the reintroduction to life. The writing is a little spotty --- there are short essays by various people involved, some of whom are a lot more insightful than others. But, overall, I was left feeling like I'd been present during every stage of the journey.
