All Fall Down

Rate this book
Jocular Ellie McKay, of the Yard, and his bookselling friend, Gilkison, happen in on the murder of a cussed old codger, bibliomanic Hatt Baildon. Baildon's much to be pitied wife and daughter, the daughter's rival schoolteachers, and eccentric village characters provide a localized, narrow margin of suspicion. [from Kirkus Reviews]
