廬山會議實錄

在中共歷史上，一九五九年的廬山會議，是充滿火藥味和神秘感的一次重要會議。 在這次會議上，時任國防部長的彭德懷，因對當時大陸經濟的浮誇風不滿，向毛澤東的權威提出挑戰。而因彭的思想在黨內有一定代表性，以致引起與會的中共高層兩種思想的激烈鬥爭。

本書作者李銳，在廬山會議時任毛澤東的秘書，但因他的思想傾向與彭德懷接近，又在會上坦率直言，結果與彭德懷同時惹禍，長期被監禁，直到文革後才重獲自由。 作者根據自己的記錄、結合中共有關部門提供的資料，終寫成這本極具參考價值與可讀性的回憶錄。

此書援引大量史料，夾敘夾議，並有會議期間毛、周、朱、劉、彭等發言記錄，將當時兩派激烈爭論、形勢逆轉的過程呈現出來，足供讀者分析品味。

歷史始終是公正的，現在來看廬山會議，是非曲直已十分明顯，而在當時，幾乎所有的中共領袖都一面倒站在毛澤東一邊。

廬山會議的主角彭德懷，雖然蒙冤而死，而他剛正不阿的形象，還是屹立於中國歷史，令後人景仰。

An authentic story, albeit a bit lengthy, told by one of the secretary to the political meeting called by Chairman Mao at Loshan. The meeting was meant to be reviewing the deficiencies by the administration. But it was turned into political storm by Chariman Mao after receiving a letter from General Peng Takwei, disagreeing on the many political agenda set out by Mao himself. The book revealed the political struggle inside the Chinese Communist Party at the top level but readers should be advised to read with some degree of skepticism as the author is one of the party member as well. Anyway, the book is not written with critical style as general reader might have assumed. For a book that shed light on the high level Chinese communist leaders, their interrelationships, their way of thinking, it is a book that worth to read.
