There are not enough words in the world to describe The Dark-Hunters! Sherrilyn took me on a incredible ride into Mythology, in which I love Mythology in the first place. But the way Sherrilyn put it into place, gives you a 'look' over your shoulder, 'look' behind you, and 'look' in every shadow for the unbelievable to show themselves. We all use, I want one of them, I want to be loved by one of them, or damn! But I'm not going to be different-I want a Dark-Hunter. I want to be taken in all forms by these incredible beings. I'm sadden for it to end. More then worth any amount of money---read!

This is one of my top five favorite paranormal series! Sherrilyn Kenyon has created an amazing world that blends the old Gods and Goddesses with a unique vampire twist and of course some steamy romance. This series will have you reading long past your bedtime so don't miss out because if you love paranormal you won't be disappointed!

OVERALL: ~4.8 stars

Fantasy Lover (The Entire Dark-Hunterverse #0) - 5 stars

This amazing book is the prequel to the wonderful Dark-Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon. What do you think it would be like to be trapped in a book for 2,000 years, only being released when summoned to be subjected to being a sex slave? Well, that is exactly the type of question that Julian of Macedon could answer, he has had to pleasure women for a very, VERY long time. When the lucky lady, Grace Alexander, happened to summon him one not so sober night her world seemed to be looking on the bright side, fortunately for both of them, not a side that Grace was ready to experience. Julian, allotted only a one-month period of time to spend with Grace must use that time to figure out how to break this curse on him and escape the realm of darkness. Can Grace really help Julian break a 2,000-year-old curse?

Night Pleasures (Dark-Hunter #1) - 5 stars
The first of the amazing new Dark-Hunter series from author Sherrilyn Kenyon. Kyrian of Thrace, an experienced fighter and one time heir to the throne now is an immortal fighter for the human race. Stalking the very creatures that thrive on the souls of countless humans everyday, you would think him some kind of glorious hero. However, this heroic hunter finds himself with a dark past and a now even darker future. Waking up chained to an ordinary, very conservative human, Amanda Devereaux, was not exactly his idea of a wonderful time. Especially now that he finds himself attracted to her, a woman betrayed him once in his life; he wasn't going to let it happen again. They will have to fight together if they want to stay alive and they will have to trust each other in the end.

Night Embrace (Dark-Hunter #2) - 5 stars
Chicory coffee and warm beignets are practically the only thing sustaining Talon of the Morrigantes, a Celtic Dark-Hunter who is a little more than under the weather (which he can control). Not to mention that he got run over by the Greek god Dionysus in the form of a Mardi Gras float and now is trapped, until the sun goes down, in the apartment of Sunshine Runningwolf, a slightly over the top artist who needs more than new memory. This Mardi Gras is turning out to be something special indeed!

Dance with the Devil (Dark-Hunter #3) - 5 stars

Kiss of the Night (Dark-Hunter, #4) - 5 stars
Taken into a world that will mystify you to the last, readers will be shocked to find out that they really did not know a great deal about Diamons and Apollites and they are much more complex than the Dark-hunters were ever allowed to believe. Wulf Tryggvasen, a Viking warrior which no one remembers five minutes after they met him, which seems to be fine with him because he always has the best one night stands and no complicated relationships. However, that was before he met Cassandra Peters, a princess who has the destruction of the earth on her conscience; if she dies the rest of the world dies with her. I thought that it was an awe inspiring book with quite a few surprises set in between the pages!

I loved in this book we were able to find out more about the appolities and daimons. The reader surprisingly learns, along with wulf, that there is more to the diamon race than we originally thought. Cassandra was funny and brilliant in this one but as always I think her companion kat stole the show.

I love these books and I would recommend them to anyone that wants to read an interesting take on the mythological worlds.

Night Play (Dark-Hunter #5) - 5 stars
Vane and his brother fang are in trouble. After the death of their sister Anya and her puppies due to the fact that vane helped the dark hunters their father banishes them from the clan. Vane must now find a way to protect himself and his brother from being hunted down by their father but along the way he meets bride, a human, and finds out the hard way that she just so happens to be his mate. Now he has just three weeks to convince her to accept him of else he might loose the chance of ever having a mate.

It is nice that Kenyon is able to write about the everyday woman. Bride is by no means the sought after romanticized version of what a woman should be, she just is herself. I loved how vane animalistic nature is so protective of her and it really shows how much he cares in his attitude towards her.

This enchanted world that Sherrilyn Kenyon has developed for readers is truly unique and inspiring. In this novel she once again does not disappoint.

Kenyon inspires a wide range of different characters of all shapes and sizes while going out of the box to make each one unique. All of her characters are liable and really to the every day person. Vane takes charge in a way no other man could as he develops feelings for Bride beyond his control.

I love how characters from the previous books appear and add to the story. Especially Ash and Simi, they just make every book more enjoyable to read!

Seize the Night (The Entire Dark-Hunterverse #7) - 5 stars
Of course, there are going to be some previous characters coming into play with Sherrilyn Kenyon's seventh main Dark Hunter novel. Tabitha Devereaux, the twin sister to Amanda, finds her way with her spirit and unforgettable spunk into the hearts of beloved Dark Hunter readers. Tabitha, the vampire hunter of the night, comes back only this time to realize her life is deeply threatened and it is not just by the Diamons that walk the street but by her uncharacteristic love interest who threatens the only security she has ever had: her family.

Valerius "Val" Magnus, a gloriously Roman Dark Hunter, a Dark Hunter who has excruciating familiar relations with Zarek and a crucifying clarity of what and who Kyrian of Thrace once was. He will have to face his past along with both Zarek and Kyrian, ultimately one will not survive.

This book is seriously not for the faint of heart. More than one beloved character will parish before the end, however, there is hope for the future and in someone who hasn't fully realized their own powers who might eventually be the key to unlocking the secret of everything. Sherrilyn Kenyon has done it again with a few more twists and turns along the way. Seize the Night offers readers more parallels to what is happening while bringing up more questions yet to be answered.

Sins of the Night (Dark-Hunter #7) - 5 stars

Unleash the Night (Dark-Hunter #8) - 5 stars

Dark Side of the Moon (Dark-Hunter #9) - 4 stars
I have to say that it was not one of my favorite Dark-Hunter novels although it did give a great deal of information about the relationship between Ash and Artemis and just for that information the book is good to read. The character development is also very well done except there seems to be not as much emotional spark between the two characters as I had hoped that there would be.

The Dream Hunter (Dark-Hunter #10) - 4 stars

Devil May Cry (The Entire Dark-Hunterverse #12) - 5 stars

Upon the Midnight Clear (Dark-Hunter #12) - 5 stars

Dream Chaser (Dark-Hunter #13) - 5 stars

Acheron (Dark-Hunter #14) - 5 stars
Absolutely heart wrenching!!!! I love Ash's character and I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book. It certainly did NOT disappoint!

One Silent Night (Dark-Hunter #15) - 5 stars

Dream Warrior (Dark-Hunter #16) - 5 stars

Bad Moon Rising (Dark-Hunter #17) - 5 stars

No Mercy (Dark-Hunter #18) - 5 stars

Retribution (Dark-Hunter #19) - 4 stars

The Guardian (Dark-Hunter #20) - 5 stars

Time Untime (Dark-Hunter #21) - 4 stars

I have owned this version of The Dark Hunter books for years. I had previously read and own all of the books included in this set, but I love having the first 22 books all in one volume. It makes it much easier to binge read these books without having to find the next one in the series before you can continue.

I finally finished! Whew! Took me over a year and many breaks between books but I am DONE. I was Talked into buying this boxset a few years ago buy a friend because it was such a deal (Thanks Steph!) but it was only last year before I picked it up to read.

For the majority of the books, I was completely drawn in and freaking loved them. Wasn't a big fan of the dream-hunter books, but the dark-hunters I was all in. By far, my favorite out of all 22 books was Acheron (Book 14). And really, that is when the series peaked for me. It wasn't that I lost interest because let just say it, this is a loooong series with a LOT of books. It's just I felt the several of the books after were, well, less than stellar. Did it lose steam or did I lose interest? Hard to say. I really wanted to find out Nick's story. The last few titles did shed some light and had me sitting up and begging for more. However, the main characters and their storylines, I was just meh.

Overall, this was a great series. Excellent characters and storylines, some really high highs and tear-jerking low moments. Plenty of characters to enjoy. There's even a Companion to help you out with all the characters. It's like the ultimate boxset and I would totally read it again.

Mixed feelings, some stories where good, other less so, but reading them all after eachother one thing becomes obvious, they all say things the same way, even with all the different backgrounds and lack of social skills/contact they use the same endearments.

The stories around all that are good, but some scenes feel like more of the same and I just had to skim through.

I bought all these in paperback YEARS ago. Then I got a kindle and reading on paper is impossible for me no. So naturally, I had to get this box set on kindle so they are ALWAYS at my disposal! I ADORE these stories. They're so fun, the romance is believable and enjoyable. Kenyon makes me laugh, she makes me cry, she stomps on my heart and then brings it back to life by the end of the book. If you like troubled, sometimes broody men with good hearts but heartbreaking backstories, these books are perfect for you.

I keep these stories on my kindle like a comfort animal, and I doubt I'll ever delete them.

Good series

The first book was the slowest but the books get better as the series goes along. Great character development and then seeing how it all fits together makes it worth the long read. I think there should be another one of these sets at this point with the rest of the series thus far. Took me about a month to finish the whole set. I got the set at a huge discount because it was only $20 when I got this and was just looking through my library tonight and noticed I never left a review so thought I should. As I said good character development and world building. The series builds on itself and each novel adds to the depth of the whole.

Picked this up on a drastic sale just because I'd seen it highly recommended on nearly every blog I follow. Best buy ever! I had no idea how vast this universe is. The Dark Hunter main series make up the best books from this set, but each one is compelling with its deep mythologies, expansive cast, and deep dark lows that are offset by sweet and sexy highs. I've taken several breaks from this set just because I was not ready to move on. But I have never once set it aside because of boredom. I can't wait to move on to other series By this terrific author.

Shoo!!! Finally done with this giant book. I loved almost every minute of it. And even the minutes I didn't LOVE, I still enjoyed or at least appreciated why they were in there. I have reviewed most of the individual books, so feel free to check those out for a somewhat more detailed review of them. On to Styxx, to get this finished off before a bunch of new books come out Tuesday!

Really enjoyed my introduction to the Dark Hunter world. "Acheron" is definitely my favorite book of all those included. I kept shaking my head at the intricacy and detail included with each character, and how they all intertwine and bring this paranormal world to life. Looking forward to continuing more installments along with the CON series!

I finished this series along time ago but never finished the last part about the characters. I thought I would but got involved in too many other books that I couldn't put down. Anyway I loved this series, and the fact that all the spinoff books were included so there wasn't any guessing on what the characters were doing and why. I love bundles like this.

A nicely packaged work of works

I love the fact that the majority of the books are in this collection. Everything flows and feels connected, like one long story; instead of several stories wrapped into one.
