I received this book quite a while back through the first-reads program, and due to personal issues, it's been gathering dust for months. I recently started reading again, and though it's not exactly a page-turner, seeing as it's a bunch of stories only a couple pages each, I still greatly enjoyed this book. There were a few minor grammatical and spelling errors, but not enough to be detrimental to the experience. I relished each bite-sized story of death, and enjoyed G.R.'s commentary on each story, usually finding myself agreeing with them. Overall, a pretty good book, with the main downside being that it's form doesn't allow you to get overly attached to characters before they die, each death is essentially meaningless if you feel nothing for the passed.

This collection of short stories is well worth the read! The Grim Reapers introductions to each tale add to the enjoyment with a twisted sense of humour and good natured ribbing of the author.
The tales themself rang from unique and odd in the case of "The Chinese Undertaker" to the sweetest of revenges in the case of "Dr. Adleman". Each story has its own flavor and spin some with endings you expect and others well you'll just have to read for yourself......
One of the best collections of short stories I've read in awhile! I recieved this book from a 'goodreads giveaway' and am glad I did I will be looking for JJ White novels on the shelves and at Amazon!
