Lacy Woods thought that there could be nothing worse than being stolen from Earth by an alien poacher, until she's thrust onto the auction block and sold as a slave on an alien planet. Standing on stage surrounded by the galaxy's nastiest criminals, she has little hope.
Kor and Ty are a mated pair that have been searching throughout the galaxy for a species that can save their race from extinction. They never expected to come across a rare Earther female being auctioned as a slave. Unable to deny her exotic beauty, and a chance to test her DNA, they buy her. What the males don't expect is the intense lust they feel for the small female and the protective urges that tell them to keep her safe at all costs.
When enemies close in on Earth, Lacy will need the Arathians’ help to protect her planet and the males she has come to love.
Warning: Contains explicit HOT sex with multiple alien partners, bi-sexuality and homosexuality. m/f, m/m, m/m/f

I did like this story - I just felt it could have been developed a bit better.
But it is what it is, a nice enjoyable read, nothing too taxing, typical of it's genre. Not sure I would be all fired up to read more of the series, but I did enjoy it.
However, the insta lust/love here (and I know it is an alien romance) was too quick and unbelievable.
But certain parts of it reminded me far too much of another series I have read (admittedly it is hard to be truly original) but certain aspects were almost exact, and even some secondary characters names were very very similar.
This was just okay. This is the same plot done over and over and over again with the addition of quite a bit of corny lines and underdeveloped characters. It's readable and might be more pleasurable for those new to alien abduction erotica with very low expectations.
Quick Rundown: 2 Alien Dudes who are a mated pair awaiting the possibility of a future female addition to their polyamorous lifestyle/culture, come across Human Chick in an illegal auction (Humans are a "protected species" as Earth is considered a young planet) while in the line of duty for the Alliance. They purchase her knowing that she can never go back home and their home planet needs females, yo! You know, because like most of the other books in this genre, they are facing extinction because they fucked with their own bodies and made an oopsie resulting in very low birth rate. Insta love happens, then Earth has to be saved, yadda, yadda, yadda...
Characterization: One of the two Alien Dudes is the sensitive, nerdy type though still hunky. Second Alien Dude is a more Alpha, military type. Chick is pretty lame but she's got three holes. That's about it as far as main characters go. The other alien species that make up some of the secondary characters were kinda interesting in their descriptions at least. And we got a pretty good explanation for the little gray men that make up our society's perception of what aliens look like. That was the only interesting thing in this book.
Plot: I almost want to say, "what plot?" But, to be fair, there is one but it's been done a million times before and most have been done better. There were a ton of plot holes and noticeable ones. And with underdeveloped characters and a shorter book length, there just wasn't much going on here. Ending made no sense at all. Sex scenes were okay but I seem to recall a super easy back door entry and that always annoys me.
Overall: Author has potential and because this book was free on the Kindle Unlimited program, I'll be reading the second one as it's also a free read for me and I already downloaded it but I'm not expecting much:(
This book was okay, had a good story line but a lot was missing. Kor and Ty are scientists from their planet trying to find a way to save their race from extinction. They find Lacey being sold at an auction and purchase her in hopes that her DNA will help save their race. Although you get enough back story about Kor and Ty and their mission, you never get anything about Lacey, such as how she was stolen from earth, does she have a family or anything about her life on earth, she just seems to accept the fact she is never going back. Then you get the conflict with the other alien race that seems to come from nowhere. Just kind of thrown in. Seemed like to me to get enough of the actual story this book needed to be longer with more detail. Overall it was an okay read.
So I am an easy victim to reading these romances, I have a secret place in my heart for aliens and add aliens with romance times wait for it wait.... two! Bam. The story was fun to follow along with the characters. Can't wait for book two.
I'm going 3 stars. The whole "other-worldly" thing isn't really for me, but the story moved quickly, wasn't complicated, and the characters were decent. I think it would have been better if it was longer and a little more happened between the characters, but this isn't really my cup of tea so I'm not going to complain about the length. I'm not a big fan of menage stories, but this is the type that doesn't bother me, I mean squished between two hot men that love each other, if I've gotta read about a girl, I guess I'd rather her be between two hot guys. I didn't necessarily feel any deep connection. They saw her, saved her and wanted her. Somewhere in the few hours after they gt back to the ship, she became very "dear" to them. I'm not going to harp on the fact that she just jumped right in with them--its just the kind of story it was. It was hot at time, Ty and Kor were decent, Lacy didn't make me want to bash her head in, it was free.
This novel reminded me of Ms. Brooks' Cat Star Chronicles Series, at times a little too much. Nevertheless, I did like the characters, I just wished the plot was a little more then what I was used too.
Hah another menage that ended with a pregnancy -__-
I will say that the idea behind this series is interesting (if a bit overdone in sci-fi) I plan on reading the rest. This wasn't bad at all it just wasn't great. I nice distraction though.
I read and enjoyed this series before, and this 3rd edition was an improvement, it was more detailed and 'polished'. The book is an enjoyable easy read about alien abduction, the heroine Lacey is having a very bad day! Lacey gets abducted while lost and finds herself on the slavers block, Arathians Kor and Ty save her only to discover she may hold the solution to their problems. I loved this book and was hooked from the first chapter, I couldn't put it down and finished it in one sitting, Lessa Lamb's narration brought the characters to life and giving them a wonderful depth of emotion. I can't wait to start the next book.
I really liked this story and main characters! Both the story and characters were well written, and that is a very rare find in this particular genre. Even though it follows the usual trope in this genre (Hero/heroes rescue heroine and insta fall in love, etc.) , at least the main characters decisions and actions were very realistic.
Recently I’ve been stopping a lot of novels lately because I can’t get past it when the hero and or heroine behave and act in extremely stupid, unrealistic ways. I find myself not being able to care about the main characters when they act so unreasonably. Luckily, you won’t find any of that in this novel.
Interesting plot and worldbuilding. I liked the inclusion of the grays and the galactic alliance. It gives this book a depth and helps set the stage for the next book.
This rating I give to books that retain my attention to the point that I did not stop until finished. The style was good but a little on the fast side. The essence of the book was revealed as soon as the book started, without preamble.
I fell in love with the characters and the writers ability to flush out the individual relationships between all parties. I can’t wait to read the next book!
Kor and Ty, a mated Arathian couple, are on a scientific mission on Vox when they come across an auction. Not just any auction, an auction selling a rare Earther female. Their home planet is within 100 years of becoming extinct because of a virus and it's thought that Earth may be their last hope to repopulate their planet if it's discovered their DNA is a match. But they've been unable to determine that theory as there is a strict hands off policy in effect for Earth. All bets are off if the Earther is acquired anywhere else in the Universe so they decide to buy Lacy with the goal of testing her as a representative of her species.
Lacy Woods has been abducted and about to be sold on an alien planet. The winning bid can do with her what they want with options being sexual servitude to being eaten as a delicacy. Just as she's about to find out her fate two men show up and outbid everyone else and win her. Looking like they do the two gorgeous looking alpha guys don't need Lacy in their bed so what could their intentions be?
New to me series and author. This sci-fi read has the flavor of the "Clans Of Kalquor" series but does go into a different storyline direction. The adult content erotic scenes do include m/m, m/m/f, and m/f/m scenes so do keep that in mind if it's a concern.
Overall I did enjoy the storyline and erotic content. The beginning scene did peak my interest and had me hopeful I had found a fun new series. As events played out I do have to agree that this has potential but for this book the issues I had were just too problematic for me to give this one any higher of a rating than I did. But I will be looking at future installments as with a little tweaking this series could be a winner.
My issues? I do follow the *no spoiler* philosophy so I'll be a little vague. Lacy. Abducted and sold on an alien planet yet I never did find out about her career or personal family life. I would have appreciated that back story to be worked in. Believing she has no one who would miss her or her them gives the impression that she's an uncaring heroine. Kor & Ty. Alien warriors should have a certain persona if I'm to believe they are the baddest of the bad. Sure, I want to see the soft side of them with their mate but to all others I want macho superior alpha attitude. I love action/adventure and story line twists. I just don't like it when those factors resolve too easy or are predictable. And. Wham bam thank you ma'am erotica is sometimes more of a turnoff than turn on. Even if it's HAWT as all get go.
I will definitely be reading further installments in this series with the hope that more attention to layering the characters and developing the world building will happen. And will now realize that all those alien sightings I laugh off on the news and tabloids may in fact be sightings of "Grays"
Stolen from Earth and placed up for bid on the Slave auction. Lacy is scared and frightened when two humanoid aliens bid and win her. They treat her with kindness and respect. She comes to find out that they are a couple, a mated couple. And that on their planet they are dying out. Due to a DNA problem that causes infertility. They are looking for a match, to help their species survive. Amazingly Lacy is a match! NO WAY! She ends up joining their group. Another alien is NOT happy about the Earther being a match to the DNA. They go after Earth to destroy it. But in the name of science it is saved, along with all the other Earthers! *YEAH!*
It's an okay story, pretty predictable, good sex, not my usual book to read. But okay.
Very sexy read. Would have given it at least a 4 if not for little annoyances like types and misused words.
Ty and Kor are mates from Arath. They are on a mission to find compatible races to so that they can procreate to keep from going extinct.
Lacy is from Earth and has been kidnapped and put up for action as a slave. That is where Ty and Kor rescue her from.
Once they have the chemistry is off the charts. Not only is the sex hot, but she also adds to this relationship by being intelligent enough to help them with their dilemma.
Sooooo Kor and Ty rescue Lacy from a possible fate of being sold for as an Alien entrée or Alien sex slave....... What magnanimous Aliens they are. Of course their purpose for securing her is just to save their Alien race by finding the right DNA....I know which Aliens I'd like to buy me. What evolves is some pretty erotic menage scenes which truly saved this book for me. I don't read this genre, in fact I had to create a new category in my shelves for it but hey I broadened my repertoire...... survived in tact... just ;)
