Grant is damaged, selfish, and undeserving of love…or so he thinks.

Jessa is happy, in love, and has overcome her past…or so she thinks.

Grant and Jessa can’t stop thinking about one another since being introduced at a party a month ago. And despite their differences, they can’t seem to stay away from each other either. However, both are hiding secrets of less-than-perfect pasts, fearing what will happen when those mistakes come to light. As they grow closer, they each battle their own insecurities, and neither believes that they are worthy of the kind of love that they both still want. So if it’s true that opposites attract, what happens when the similarities begin to surface?

I have wanted, wanted to read Grant’s story right after I was finished with LET ME IN! He was someone who had caught my attention in the first novel and a character who grew on me. And there’s Jessa, Saddie’s best friend who had been through rough times, and is now with Rob. I had wished she would chose wisely on whom to give her heart. She had given it to Rob… but the more time she spends with Grant, the more she thinks she made the wrong decision.

All Grant wanted to do was to graduate from school, make something better out of himself, have a stable, successful job, and a big bank account. He didn’t need love – he used to love people, but they have left him. Grant had carried his suffering way too long. I have always wondered what it was – was it her mother, or another girl? Who really broke him? He tried to stay away from Jessa because she belonged to someone else. He was willing to wait, but with certain limitations. I was hoping she would finally make up her mind and chose someone who would love her for her.

Jessa has finally found someone who had accepted her past – or she’d like to think so. But Rob was changing right before her eyes. He used to be sweet, caring – but now, all they do is shag, and it was getting old. And here comes Grant whom she can’t stop thinking about. It was wrong, she was with another guy. BUT when reality hits hard, and she finally saw something she was blind to see all those times, she finally gave in to her feelings and handed Grant his chance – but with both their past haunting them, would their relationship work?

They are way different from each other, but they shared one common thing - both characters are broken, damaged and have huge baggage from their past. They needed to overcome this obstacle, spread out the truth, and give some trust to finally allow love into their hearts.

I SOOOOOOOOO love the letters. I have already read it somewhere, but it didn’t made it less beautiful. Those letters were heartbreaking, yet necessary for healing. This is one of the reasons why I fell in love with this book.

The secondary characters – they were not friends, they were family. They stick through thick and thin and always have each other’s back. It’s good to see Saddie and Brady living out their HEA. I the rest of them will have their turns too! And of course, the next one on the list is Trent – I’m just dying to know his story as well. He’s a sweet guy whose almost a brother to Jessa.

There were so many surprises and twists, just as you thought that was it – Michelle Lynn would give you another blast that will have you glued into this novel, until you realized you are on your final page, and you groan because it’s time to say goodbye to the characters you have grown to love.

OMG Words can't even express what I thought of this book. It was great to see how the author sent so many messages in this book. Jessa is finishing her senior year of college. She thinks she has finaly got back on track after the things in her past almost killed her. So she thinks she has found a great guy which everything is fine at first. But then he starts to change and she meets Grant and can I say OMG he is so amazing and sweet and good looking. But they don't look the same they appear to be from different worlds. But they have this connection and it is driving them crazy. But Grant has had some things in his life happen to. That he feels he doesn't want or deserve a HEA when in fact they do. But something changes at midnight on new years eve and that is when they know. But Jessa can't seem to let Rob go because Grant reminds her of another life. And Grant won't take another man's woman even if he knows things she doesn't. I am trying so hard not to tell yall what happens but it is very hard anyways its a beautiful story the author is amazing at writing so do me a favor and read this book. Fall in love with Grant and Jessa you will love this story.

I was so overwhelmed last night when reviewing this book I had to come back and edit it.
I loved Brady and Sadie in book one but Grant and Jessa I simply adored.
Ms. Lynn had be crying from the first chapter Grants story was so heartbreaking beautiful. The strength that both he and Jessa showed after the turmoil they both endured was refreshing.
Hands down Grant is my favorite of the series so far.
Can't wait for Trey.

If you live in the future or the past, you'll be unable to enjoy what's going on right now.

Let Me In is the second installment in the Invisibles series, but it can be read as a Stand Alone. It does have characters from the first book, but this is Grant and Jessa's story.

And let me say that Michelle Lynn DID NOT disappoint in this second installment of the Invisibles series. I knew I was going to love Let Me In, because I loved reading the Epilogue in Grant's POV. In my most sincerest and personal opinion Michelle Lynn outdid herself with Let Me In :D!

This one is going on my Favorite 2013 Reads and on my Book Hangover List, because I just can't stop thinking about the story and the characters.

This girl has so many different personalities I'm beginning to wonder who the real Jessa Harrison is.

Jessa Harrison's character is loving, caring, strong, damaged, bold, carefree, and she struggles with a few insecurities because of her past. Like most of Michelle Lynn's character's, Jessa has a secret from her past. The secret Jessa is hiding is the reason why she left her hometown and the college she was previously attending to go to Western. After reading about her secret past, I understand why Jessa reinvented herself. I personally like the new Jessa, because she is being true to who she really is. She is more confident and comfortable in her own skin with the new Jessa. Her character does have a few insecurities that has to do with her past. When I was reading about this, it seriously crushed me a little because I just love Jessa's character. She is a perfect example of a girl that has experienced tough situations in college, and at the end has come out of them with the help of her family and new friends. As the story progresses Jessa starts to work on overcoming her insecurities, and she does with the help and love of Grant.

The doors that open up to truly see Grant are double-locked with a chain around the handles.

Grant Bishop's character is selfish, lonely, damaged, perfectionist, passionate, he is insanely hot, and just as Jessa, he struggles with his own insecurities that he covers up by putting up walls around him. I freaking LOVED Grant's character, because in Let Me In we get his whole story. We truly understand why he is so focused in succeeding in life, and why he plans everything in his life and wants to follow through it. Grant has more secrets from his past then Jessa does, and as I mentioned before he puts up walls to protect these secrets from being known. This is one of the things I loved about Grant's character. As each wall is broken down we get to see a different side of Grant. One thing I will say right now is that I actually cried when I was reading the letters (can't say more about this, because I don't want to spoil the book). This was another favorite part of mine in the book, because with the letters we get to understand a deeper side of Grant. His character also overcomes his insecurities and he slowly starts bringing his walls down to let Jessa in.

It took you awhile to find where you belong, Grant, but you belong with me and I belong with you. We are each other's home.

The relationship between Grant and Jessa was just beautiful. There is a little bit of angst, because Grant wants her and Jessa wants Grant, but she is dating Rob (seriously hated this guy). OMG Michelle Lynn! Their first kiss was just freaking amazing. Heck, their whole relationship is just amazingly beautiful. They both help each other overcome their insecurities with their love for each other, and the way they refuse to let the secrets they keep from their past from creating a problem in their relationship. Now shall we talk about the sex?!?!? Michelle Lynn delivered A LOT of HOT sex scenes in Let Me In. Grant and Jessa are just explosive and can't keep their hands off each other. But there is also one specific scene which totally just made me swoon! This particular scene is a sweet romantic moment between Grant and Jessa, and one of my favorites :D!

"Never doubt me, Jessa. You're mine and I'm yours."

I just loved every moment of Let Me In by Michelle Lynn. I was intrigued from the very first page. I started reading it on Friday night and I didn't put it down until 1:00 a.m. in the morning. But I just didn't want to put Let Me In down for one second, because I just wanted to keep reading to find out Grant and Jessa's secrets. Michelle Lynn definitely delivered a beautiful story with lovable and unforgettable characters in Let Me In. Grant and Jessa's story has gotten deep under my skin, and I can see myself re-reading Let Me In.

Michelle Lynn I hope you are working on the third installment in the Invisibles series at this moment, because I can't wait to read Trey's story! I also can't wait to read more about the Invisible series characters :D!

I received an ARC for an honest review and wow do I feel so honoured

Let me in is the next book in the invisible series (after Don't Let Go) ,,, this book is Grants story!! ,,, so if you haven't yet read Don't let go you'll want to before this :)

It begins where Don't let go finished and we get to know Grant and Jessa ,,, the budding friendship that they build and the intimate feelings that they try to fight ,,,, Jessa is in a relationship with Rob and seemed happy and life seemed to be going ok ,,,but when she met Grant things changed. She has been haunted by her past that she ran away from and never thought in her wildest dreams that someone like Grant could ever want someone like her ,,, and even if he did they couldn't work ,,, they were too different. But isn't the saying that opposites attract???

Not knowing what her feelings for Grant meant but knowing it meant that her and Rob weren't meant to be she knew that she needed to end her current relationship.

Grant has his own ghosts that haunt him ,,, keeping him from happiness ,,, his fear is rife and knowing that to love someone means to lose them, he couldn't allow anyone to get too close ,,, until that night ,,, he was done for ,,, but she was already with somebody else ,,, he didn't want to follow in his fathers footsteps and always made a promise that he would never take any one that was in a relationship ,,, he felt he didn't deserve someone like Jessa and she was happy with Rob! ,,,, wasn't she??

Events occur and they finally find each other but will the secrets that they both hold tear them apart?? ,,,, the insecurities they both share could do just that if the secrets don't.

These two broken souls were brought into the world and had unfortunate events thrown across their paths but fate always has a part to play and without these events would they have ever met???

To know happiness you need to have had sadness ,,, to know the truest and purest love there is you need to have experienced heartache ,,,, no matter how broken something may cause you to feel there is always something out there that will mend those pieces ,,,, making you whole again

I have felt so privilege to have been given the opportunity to read this book ,,, I've been looking forward to it for a while and I have without doubt not felt any disappointment from it ,,, it is amazing I was gripped from the first moment I began to read it ,,, Michelle is an extremely talented writer and I have enjoyed all of her work so far ,,, her guys are hot and characters are believable the story lines aren't far fetched and you can feel like you are right there with them as your reading.

Trey plays a bigger role in this book ,,, I think he may be my favourite ;) ,,, and your left wanting to know about him too ,,, Dex is also around more ,,, the bonds he forms within this book leaves you wondering what will happen next :)

I am looking forward to the next instalment from this series!!! ,,,,,, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

Ok before you even think about reading this book you need a few provisions...ready? First TISSUE!! You need lots and lots of tissues. Second, ICE WATER Or a fan or something to cool your butt down after the hot sexy time between Grant and Jessa. Third, no people around and time to just devout this novel. I had major temper tantrums having to put this book down...work! SERIOUSLY!! People wanted me to go to work!! PFT Whatever!!!

Ok so WHY did I give it a 5 star rating? Easy people. It was that good. I am not a big crier...really I am not but this book GOT to me. I was crying and I had pits in my stomach from the STRESSSS and the Angst...omg the Angst was a killer!! BUUUT, I like angst because I like to feel moved in my books.

SO the low down on the novel....ready go....Jessa is broken due to a major jerk of an ex-boyfriend who did a not very nice thing to her. It ruined her and she left to go to a new school. This is how she meets Sadie and then meets Grant through Sadie. Now to our boy toy, Grant is also sooo broken. He feels he was a bad kid because he was a kid and wanted to see his friends VS watch his dying mother. He also feels bad about a girl from him past.

Both of these people want and crave love but both feel they are not worthy of love. The sad story Jessa tells about life after the ex and his friends and what she does made me so sad. It is a true life situation that girls go through in real life. It was dark but Jessa is a survivor. Grant tells his heart breaking story and I just want to cuddle him and tell him he is a good guy and he was a little kid when it all went down......so sad and again a true situation people find themselves in.

Ok the DB's of the books: Rob (shocker) and Emily (GROWLS!!!) Don't say I didn't warn ya!!

The epilogue....OMG be ready for it!!! The crocodile tears were free flowing!!! I am a huge epilogue person so this totally made their HEA complete....sigh....can't wait to see more from them and Brady/Sadie in the next books....speaking of the next book.....Trey is next book and I gotta say I am so excited but the story line with Dex and Sam is pretty interesting as well. I can't wait for them....squee I love a good series.

Okay, so I have to be completely honest in my review right off the bat. I felt this story was a bit boring at times and some of the sex scenes could have been replaced with actual story. For that I took away a star. I loved everything else about the story though, so this is a solid 4 star read for me. The drama is minimal so it's not super heavy, and it's light hearted enough (with minimal intensity as well) to be enjoyable.

It was extremely well written (a rarity nowadays) and the characters were likable and had a very "real" feel to them. Over all, it was a beautiful story about 2 broken people overcoming their pasts, allowing their walls to be torn down and letting the other person in (as the title suggests). I think maybe the reason I found myself to be bored at times is because Jessa and Grant's relationship progresses like a normal relationship should. I'm so used to other books rushing through the meeting and the typical instant connection, followed by the exchanging of "I love you's" a couple days later. So at the same time its very refreshing to be presented with something different and more accurate to real life.

I thought Rob was a total douche and I wish Jessa would have come to her senses sooner rather than later about him. He's the perfect villain you love to hate, easily comparable to Jason, the boyfriend Jessa escaped. While she grew a lot as a person after the big betrayal, Jessa still doesn't have much of a back bone and would often over react to conversations with Grant that weren't nearly as serious as she made them out to be. So she was a tad annoying at times. But Grant was a patient man, dedicated to showing her nothing but love despite his fear of losing everything he holds dear to him. My heart ached for him at times. Most characters claim to be alone or to feel lonely, but he truly is. No parents or extended family to fall back on, no real friends, just people who've helped him along the way that he's adopted as family. It makes perfect sense that Jessa and Grant would gravitate towards each other. Their chemistry and love for each other is undeniable, and their flirtatious banter will have you smiling to yourself without even realizing it.

Even though Let Me In is part of a series it can be read as a standalone. However, if you'd like more info on Sadie and Brady (the couple to be envied) then definitely pick up a copy of Don't Let Go.

OMG! I can't believe how much I LOVED this book. I received an ARC for an honest opinion,so that's what I'll give. This book was amazing. The emotion I felt reading this was unreal. As we know,us people who read the first book know Grant lost someone close to him in his life when he was a kid(I won't say who). This show's Grant still dealing with that as best as he can. Wanting to concentrate on getting a job seen is that his college years are nearly finished he thinks he has no time for anything else. Oh how wrong is he. His brain might want to concentrate on that but his heart has other ideas. Remember Jessa Sadie's friend from book one? You can guess where I'm going with this ;) In a relationship with a bloke she has nothing in common with other then sex she keeps looking to Grant. But she doesn't like the unknown,Rob is what she knows right now. Even if it is only sex,its stable and she can't get hurt. Our poor Jessa has been burned before(you'll see how). I really think this book was like a roller coaster. I was a mess reading it. Have tissues if you are in any way an emtional person. And take the ride with Grant and Jessa. You taught you loved Brady and Sadie, and you couldn't love Michelle Lynn's other characters anymore then them? Well prepare to be mistaken!!!! :)

Oh my! This story is beautifully written with lots of details. You will be able to get right inside Jessa's and Grant's heads. Each chapter is written from Jessa's and Grant's pov while the story moves forward. The plot is unique, intriguing and creative. While its not necessary to have read Don't Let Go (the first book from The Invisible series) you do get to see what Brady and Sadie are up to, as well as all the other band members.
Jessa and Grant's story has even more heat and steam than Brady and Sadie's... it's H. O. T., so keep a fan nearby!
I'm a forever Michelle Lynn fan! I just adore her stories... I'm hanging on tight for Trey's story now!

A really enjoyable read, could certainly be read as a standalone however you will probably enjoy it more having read book one.

I loved Jessa she was such a strong character yet vulnerable too, and I liked Grant although at first I couldn't really see them as a couple but they actually did work well together.

It was also nice to catch up with the rest of the invisible's and although I was expecting a lot of angst (mainly due to Grant and Jessa's background stories) there was surprisingly little, instead it was a very sweet, hot read.

One I would definitely recommend, especially if your a fan of college based romances.

Why did I torture myself with this when I knew what the first book was all about. This was no different. Yet another book where one of the characters has a past, doesn't learn from it nor take advice well, where both over-react at some of the stupidest situations and after 1 disagreement thinks the other doesn't love them anymore. Say what? These are the most un-emotionally developed college students. God help us all if this were real.

Beautiful, passionate, emotional

As expected, this is another brilliant story in the series. I think I may have to buy the other books. I love how real to life they are. There is passion, pain doubts disappointments betrayal, self reflection and redemption. Grant and Jessa both had a lot to work out individually because of experiences they had before they met each other. Being together helped both of them to work out their insecurities and learn how to trust again. Love how Jessa's mum and dad accepted Grant after the dreaded questioning about his intentions towards his daughter. I think the letters from Grant's mother is the most beautiful part of the book for me. They are so heart felt. The whole story and the way it developed is brilliant.

Jessa & Grants story is beautiful if not complicated. They both have the same fears and it affects their relationship. Their friends and family help them to adjust to their new found love and help them navigate the roads to get to where they belong. The Invisibles and their partners change the environment and reality of all their situations . Michelle Lynn does a great job at intersecting all their stories.

Book 2 in my binge read of this series. I love Grant and Tessa. This is a college romance which is one of my favorite genres. Grant has a heart of gold and Tessa is the right amount of feisty. They both have secrets to tell as you journey through their story. This of course keeps you guessing through its entirety. Eek! Plan for some extra spicy between Grant and Tessa. Fanning myself! The full cast of characters from the other books in this series keep me intrigued. Definitely worth my time. Awesome story. Happy Reading Everyone!

4.5 stars...
Michelle Lynn does it again with Let Me In. This is Grant and Jessa's story. Two friends with damaged pasts, that have an interest in one another, but are hesitant to let the other in. Michelle does such a great job in telling the story from dual pov. He character development is awesome and we even get to see how Brady and Sadie's story progresses from Don't Let Go. I was excited to see that Grant and Brady are able to mend their childhood friendship and be there for one another again. You also get to learn more about the rest of the group that they all hang out with.

Now we get to learn who Jessa really is. Her world was shattered when a previous boyfriend betrayed her trust and ruined the life that she had. Not only did his actions effect her, but it also landed a damaging blow to her parents life as well. Deciding that a new start is what she needs, she transfers to Western. We got a glimpse of her character in Don't Let Go. She is Sadie's roommate and the two form a fairly strong bond, once they learn that their pasts are similar. They both realized that they were not alone. That they have each other to lean on.

Because Jessa and Grant have the same circle of friends, they tend to send time in each others presence. Grant has had feelings for her for a while now, but won't act on them because she is another guys girl. Plus he is trying to concentrate on his future. He works part time at a gym and carries a very full class schedule. Leaving him very little time for a girlfriend. He prefers mindless hookups. But when he meets Jessa, that all goes out the window. They both feel this strong pull to one another. The sexual tension is so thick! When a brief encounter on New Years Eve finds them together at midnight, they can no longer deny the feeling that they have for each other. When Jessa's boyfriend leaves to pursue a music career, all bets are off.

“In all seriousness, Jessa, it’s fine. If you want to be with Rob, no hard feelings. But if you ever change your mind, and decide you want a man who’ll treat you like you deserve, you know where to find me. I’m warning you though, there are two things I won’t do. I refuse to take another guy's girl behind his back and secondly, I won’t wait around like a schmuck for someone to pick me either. The choice is yours.”

Grants past holds lots of hurt, anger, betrayal and loss. He lost his mother at the age of fourteen and his father more or less abandoned him after this, only supplying him with the necessary funds to go to college. When his high school girlfriend's home life escalates out of control, he blames himself for her running away. After spending three months searching for her and getting no where, he decides to try and move on with his life. The one constant that he has in his life are the letters that his mom has left for him. She has left one for all the major milestones in his life. They are there to help guide him and remind him of the amazing man that he has turned out to be. To show him that he has so much to offer. To realize what it truly means to love someone and let go of all the sadness in his life. That he is worth another's love. These letters help to guide him along the way. It gives us a look at a mothers love for her child, that it is never ending, no matter the circumstances.

Grant and Jessa decide to take a chance on one another. But are they both strong enough to let each other in? To show how vulnerable they really are and allow the other to help heal them? In Let Me In, we learn that our pasts do not define us, that we can never truly run away from our problems by reinventing ourselves. That at some point, someone will come into our lives and show us that we are worth being loved and giving that love back. That we can let our walls down, to finally bury our past and move forward and live the life that we deserve.

"Never doubt me, Jessa. You're mine and I'm yours."

"It took you awhile to find where you belong, Grant, but you belong with me and I belong with you. We are each other's home. "

I highly recommend Don't Let Go. It can be read as a standalone, I personally don't think it should be read without reading Don't Let Go first. Michelle Lynn delivers yet another awesome read. If you are looking for a page turner with plenty of heat and that awesome HEA, then this is the book for you.

WOW!!! Am I allowed to give more then 5 stars??!! Because, 5 stars doesn't seem to be enough for this book. I absolutely LOVED book #1 Don't Let Go. (my review here) But, I must say I think I'm in love with Grant & Jessa MORE then Brady & Sadie. I really can't believe I just said that!!

We start off exactly where book 1 ended off. Jessa just moved into Brady's house, along with Sadie & the rest of The Invisibles band. She's dating Rob. You remember him. The asshole that always gave Sadie crap when she first started dating Brady. We'll Jessa is with him. Nobody knows why. I honestly don't think Jessa knows why half the time. Other then she told him her past & why she transferred schools & he doesn't hold it against her. Poor Jessa doesn't think she'll find another guy who will accept her!

Grant on the other hand. We know from Don't Let Go that his mother died. His father ran off with Brady's mom. Which was why they didn't speak for awhile. We do find out that Grant has a secret of his own. A secret that makes him think he's damaged. He's sworn off relationships, women more then a 1 night & love.

Everybody decides to go to a New Years Eve party. When Rob and Emily (Grant's date) disappear. Grant & Jessa end up sharing a midnight kiss that has them confused & messed up for days after. Grant makes his mind up to stay away from her. He refuses to mess with someone else girl!

Rob decides to ditch The Invisibles to go on tour with another group. Brady calls Grant & he agrees to play with them to help them out last minute. Grant shows up praying Jessa will show up. Jessa shows up & is shocked to see Grant on stage playing guitar. She's instantly turned on even more. Esp since she's never seen Grant this happy & free.

Grant & Jessa FINALLY decide to take the next step. Which I was beyond happy about. Because their chemistry was unbelievable!! Once they got together everything seemed right. They both were able to let their awful pasts stay in the pasts. Somewhat!!

I love that when thing's got hard between them, they both had people to talk to. Grant would have Brady. Brady's dad Mr. C who's still in rehab. But, Grant visit's him every week. He also has a box of letter's from his mom. Which every letter she wrote made me cry!!

Jessa would talk to Sadie & Trey. Oh Trey, how I love him! I'm super excited he's getting his own story next!!

I'm not going to give a lot away. I will tell you that over the weeks, months of Grant & Jessa's relationship. They both have demons in their pasts that they must over come. They both must trust each other enough to tell each other the truth. They have obstacles that will test them. Grant & Jessa must decide if what they have between them is real. They have to figure out how real their love really is. Trust me you'll LOVE this story as much as I did!!

"God, what you've done to me. I can't screw another girl anymore. I can't sleep without you invading my dreams. I can't get those lips out of my mind."

"But Grant, if you honestly can't give yourself a hundred percent to me, then don't say yes. I've been in half-assed relationships my whole life, and I'm not about to go into another one."

"It's not just your looks Jessa. You're the most beautiful thing I've ever seen,. It pours out of you when you walk into the room. People can't help but notice you.''

"Yes, Jessa. It's not your hair, your tattoos, or your piercings. You have such a big heart and you love so easily. I'm envious. I didn't fall in love with the way you look; I fell in love with this part of you."
I move my hand over her heart.

Let Me In tells the story of Grant and Jessa who meet at a party through mutual friends. Their attraction is instantaneous and the connection they feel grows stronger each time they are around each other. But, both Jessa and Grant carry secrets from their pasts and guard them strongly, for the fear that the other won’t truly understand or ever love them. They are both haunted by insecurities that threaten to ruin any chance they have, but if they allow themselves to open up, will their connection allow them to heal and more importantly find the love the both yearn for?

As I sit here writing this, I do not even know where to begin. How can you possibly describe perfection in the form of one of the most stunningly poignant love stories?

Grant is such a loving and incredibly caring guy. Consumed with fears of allowing himself to love and be loved, his past has left him timid and damaged and riddled with the fear that he will always lose those dear to him. Yet, Grant recognises these qualities within Jessa and because of this; he feels she has the power to heal him. And she does just that. She is the perfect girl to soothe his wounds and together watching them gradually heal and shed their fears from the past, was a beautiful journey that Michelle Lynn took me on. Grant is not only a gorgeous and compassionate man; he is an incredibly sexy and decisive guy who instantly grabs your heart with his honest nature and striking dominance.

“But if you ever change your mind, and decide you want a man who’ll treat you like you deserve, you know where to find me. I’m warning you though, there are two things I won’t do. I refuse to take another guy’s girl behind his back and secondly, I won’t wait around like a schmuck for someone to pick me either. The choice is yours.”

While his vulnerability is masked through his meaningless encounters in an effort to numb out his pain, it shines through with heartbreaking clarity through the writing. There was one particular moment that had me in tears, as I lay in bed with my Kindle clutched tightly in my hands.

‘His eyes are empty and I worry I made a mistake, forcing him to relieve the worst moment of his life. “Don’t leave me,” he requests, and his blue eyes have a speck of life back in them.’

Jessa is such an incredibly strong heroine. After being burned in an incredibly cruel way, she reinvents herself to wash away the scars of her past. Living in a relationship with the wrong guy, apprehension consumes her when any thoughts of Grant pervade her mind. What makes her such a likable heroine is her kind, endearing nature and the fact that she feels so undeserving of a strong, sweet man like Grant. One who would treat her as she has never been treated and one who would more importantly have the power to love her like no one else before.

This was my very first Michelle Lynn book, and I must say that I am completely and utterly blown away. This was a beautiful love story about the power of unconditional love and self forgiveness.

Grant’s letters

I feel like I should mention the letters within the story, because it is one of the most beautiful elements within this novel. The letters (without giving anything away) were the most beautiful and melancholic additions, expertly weaved into this love story and will provide you with an endearing and tear jerking backdrop to Grant and Jessa’s journey. This is a book that had me in tears at just 2% in, and continually brought them to my eyes. Let Me In is a novel that has such poignantly beautiful writing, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

“Never doubt me, Jessa. You’re mine and I’m yours.”

Squeeee!!! I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Grant and Jessa!!! Don’t get me wrong, I loved Brady and Sadie too, but these two blew me away. When I first met Grant in “Don’t Let Go”, which is book one in the series – Brady and Sadie’s story, I KNEW he’d have an AMAZING story to tell, and Michelle Lynn did NOT disappoint! I enjoyed every single chapter in this book!!! I especially liked seeing ALL the characters we met and fell in love with in book one. It’s not really necessary for you to read book one to be able to enjoy this one, BUT, as always, I recommend that you do so. To me, books in series should be read in order because there’s usually a background/general story involving all the characters – main and secondary, and there sure is one in this series.
“…you have to let her love you, and in order for that to happen, you have to let her in.”

Grant and Jessa had suffered a lot of emotional pain, both in their own way. Their pasts were truly heartbreaking and played a huge role in how and why they did certain things. It was incredible seeing them work through all their heartache - learning to open up and trust each other. On top of everything, their chemistry was unquestionable. Simply put, they were perfect for each other – just what they needed to be whole. Their sex was HOT and the romance was just, perfect. Hello, Grant! I found myself swooning A LOT over this guy! So dreamy.
“You’re mine now, and I want to cherish like the goddess you are to me.” – Grant

“Baby, you’re sexy as hell and desirable… I would’ve thought you’d have figured that out over the past month since I haven’t been able to keep my hands off you.” - Grant

Seriously, this book captivated me. My heart broke several times for Grant and Jessa and when an author evokes certain emotions from the readers, it just means it’s a truly well written book.

After reading “Let Me In”, I honestly fell even more in love with The Invisibles Series. Like I mentioned before, we saw a lot of the other characters in this book. We got updates about Sadie, Brady, Trey, Dex, and even Rob, whom I despised, yet felt bad for. I know, I know….he’s a douche, but maybe there’s more to him? *sigh* I kind of get why Jessa gave him a chance, though, so I’m HOPING there’s more to him than meets the eye. But hey, maybe I’m wrong and he IS just an imbecile.

I am VERY much looking forward to Trey’s book!!!! Aaahhh!!! I can’t wait to see him settle down. I just LOVED him in this book!! His friendship with Jessa was just, beautiful.

If you’re looking for a sweet yet, at times emotional read with a passionate romance, this is the book for you! Honestly, I HIGHLY recommend you 'one-click' ALL of Michelle Lynn’s books - not just the ones in The Invisible Series!
“Our lives won’t be perfect, Jessa, but they will be filled with love and happiness. I promise you that.”

This is the second book in The Invisibles Series. I thought Brady was great and I knew there was something about Grant but man he is something special. I had to have a box of tissues handy for this one. It tugged at my heartstrings so many times. Jessa and Grant are both broken in different ways but they are so right for each other even if neither one believes they deserve the other.
Grant does not want a relationship or to fall in love because everyone he has loved has ended up leaving him in some way. Jessa believes she is finally over the betrayal of an ex-boyfriend and has been dating Rob. There are feeling between Jessa and Grant but Grant refuses to act on them because of Rob, even if he is a DB. Finally Jessa see’s the light with Rob breaks it off and goes looking for Grant (insert happy dance).

It isn’t all rainbows and fairytales for Grant and Jessa they both have to let go of their past (insert box of tissues and me wanting to crawl in the book to cuddle with them both when they tell their stories). I love it when Jessa stands up to Emily and tells her why she is waiting outside Grants bedroom and Grant enjoyed hearing what she had to say too I might add. I love the brother/sister type relationship that Trey and Jessa end up having. I also enjoyed that you see some of the same people from Don’t Let Go besides the guys and Sadie. We are also introduced to Jessa’s parents and Sister, Sam, which I enjoyed reading the interactions of all three with the guys Sadie and Jessa.

There are so many good parts to this book the visions Grant has of Jessa, the ski trip to Colorado, and the letters were a killer for me. You can see there is something between these two from the moment they meet in Don’t Let Go and it grows and grows from there. For two soles who have lost so much they can really love one another. I loved the Pictionary scene and yes the four guys playing volleyball with their shirts off would have won right away. LOL

After reading about Brady and Grant I loved them both each holding special qualities. However, now that I know a little more about Trey and Dex I really need to know their stories. After reading the epilogue, which I’m a huge sucker for, I so hope Trey gets the HEA he deserves. I think Trey is going to take the cake but there is something about Dex that’s telling me he may be the best of all.

Here are a few of my favorites:

I love the way her small frame wraps perfectly around me, almost as if were built to fit together like a puzzle. The thought that I found my final puzzle piece to make me whole, alarms me to no end. ~Grant

You have no idea how you look in my eyes, do you? It’s not just your looks Jessa. You’re the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. It pours out of you when you walk into the room. People can’t help but notice you. ~Grant

I was really looking forward to Grant and Jessa’s story. They were first introduced in Don’t Let Go (Invisibles #1) and I knew they belonged together. Let Me In is the second book of the series but can be read as a standalone.

Grant Bishop has been emotionally stuck for years. He has a deep-set fear that everything good in his life is taken away. Rather than risking more pain, he closed himself off. Grant is extremely drawn to Jessa Harrison but won’t allow himself to get close to her. Regardless of his personal struggles with accepting love, Jessa is in a relationship and he refuses to get in the way.

I refuse to put myself out there, only to get my heart broken, or worse, break hers. Just a few more months and I’ll be onto my real life anyways.

Jessa ran from her past to escape the ongoing nightmare she had been living. She was very trusting and her ex took advantage which left her in a very bad place. After moving to Western, Jessa has been able to get her life on track but Grant leaves her all mixed up again. She isn’t sure what to do with her intense feelings toward him. Could he ever want someone like her, with what she did in the past?

I love the way her small frame wraps perfectly around me, almost as if we were built to fit together like a puzzle. The thought that I found my final puzzle piece to make me whole, alarms me to no end.

Jessa is splendid! I love that she is funky and spunky yet insecure. I feel these qualities make her interesting and readers can relate to her. Grant is very desirable and fits the mold of Prince Charming with emotional baggage. They both need that special someone to swoop in and change their life. I adore their romantic and passionate connection.

It takes a while but Jessa and Grant finally realize they need to be together. I was pleased that I didn’t have to wait until halfway through the book for them to cave into their desires. It is worth the potential heartbreak and they could have a great kind of love that doesn’t come around every day. They desperately need love and crave a relationship but the pain from the past keeps their protective walls in place.

“Never doubt me, Jessa. You’re mine and I am yours.”

Michelle Lynn’s writing is impeccable and flawless. Her novels are silky smooth and very easy to whip through. Her attention to detail and vivid descriptions allow readers to be captivated and engrossed from start to finish. I absolutely love her style and will continue to read everything she releases. I couldn’t be happier with the dual point of view. It was executed perfectly and the transitions were seamless. I loved both sides and feel it added even more depth to the story. I wanted to know their journey and I felt personally invested.

HIGHLY recommended series!

5 FABULOUS STARS!!
I love when a book hits me so hard I need a 24 hour soak time before I can write the review…. LET ME IN did just that! Michelle Lynn had me at the Dedication and never let go! This book has all my aces when it comes to a great read ~ a hot broody male, strong spunky girl, amazing supporting characters and last but not least a moving story!

We first meet Grant and Jessa in DON’T LET GO. They were supporting characters but both of them touch my heart and had me eagerly awaiting the release of LET ME IN.

Jessa Harrison moved to Western her senior year of college seeking a fresh start. She found a friend in Sadie and slipped into a comfortable relationship with Rob, the guitarist for The Invisibles. Life for Jessa is finally as it should be and she is slowly freeing herself of the demons her ex left her holding.

By all appearances Grant is the all american frat boy. He dresses the part and wears the attitude to boot. BUT Grant is broken. The people he loves most have been stripped from his life and the scars that left behind run deep.

Grant and Jessa have an undeniable connection BUT since Jessa is dating Rob they can not act on their attraction.

Will they be able to move forward as friends? Will Jessa walk away from the comfort she finds in Rob?

A few quotes that etched a place in my heart:

“You do understand that, regardless of age, love can either break your heart or cause you to soar to new heights, It’s a chance you take, no matter if you are a billionaire o if you are on welfare.”

“I don’t care if you cook for him or clean after him. All I ask is for you to love him, fiercely and purely. Entrust him with your dreams and let him try to make them come true.”

“It’s not the love you have for her or the love she has for you, it’s the love you build together that will get you through the rough patches you’re sure to experience.”

I have read some pretty amazing books and whereby “meeting” some really talented authors. Michelle Lynn is right at the top of my favorite authors! Not only is she extremely talented but she is truly a genuine person. Her stories lift off the page and wrap around you like a warm blanket on a cold winter day. Grab any of her books and you will never be disappointed.

Michelle has done it again!!! In the first book Don't Let Go we meet Brady and Sadie and we fall in love with this couple. I didn't know if I could love a couple more or just as much in this series, but I do. First this book is number 2 but can be read as a stand alone.

Grant and Jessa are two beautiful, damaged souls. They have both been hurt and trampled on and left for dead. And as they come together they show that love can conquer all, if you just give it a chance.

Jessa meets Grant when she is dating Rob, when she first starting dating Rob I was so excited until I saw what he was really about. I would love to read a book about the girl that actually gets Rob to slow down his devilish ways. I love him but he is definitely a bad boy, and not for Jessa.

Grant and Jessa fight how they feel for too long, and finally when they give into it, you get EXPLOSION. I mean sparks flew when they weren't together so when they finally give in!!

I love these two as they go through the book and fight their own demons, until they realize that maybe they have found someone that they can fight their demons with. And it's a beautiful story. It has love, forgiveness, and learning to trust. And that is big for both of them, being able to trust someone with all that they have. Grant would not have done this on his own, he just kinda fell and when he got up he was hooked and was like OMG what do I do now. I never meant to ever do this. And he has to learn to deal with the fact that indeed he has given Jessa his heart and everything else.

Can they get past their pasts? Can they live together and learn to help each other through all the hard times and trust that the other person will not walk away and that love can last forever? It is a long road for Grant and Jessa, but it's a beautiful one, and I loved this book. I loved the ending when I got to see their rewards in letting their guard down.

This is a must read! It is beautiful, and Michelle thank you for this. I look forward to reading more of your work! <3
