केशराचा पाऊस म्हणजे जंगकलांमध्ये राहणाऱ्या, प्राणी व पक्ष्यांचा अभ्यास कर्णायऱ्या संशोधकच्या संवेदनशील हळव्या मनाचीही झ्हालाक म्हणजे केशराचा पाऊस. तिथल्या काही लोक कथा आणि अनुभव यांना जंगलाच्या सौंदर्य मध्ये माळून हि बनवलेली कथा मालिका आहे. दोन गोष्टींचे साम्य प्रत्येक कथेमध्ये आहे ते म्हणजे प्रत्येक कथे मध्ये एक हळवी, जंगलावर, झ्हाडांवर प्राण्यांवर आणि एकूणच जंगलाच्या रचनेवर नितांत प्रेम करणारी तेवढाच निष्पांप प्रेम कथेतल्या नायकावर करणारी नायिका आणि सुंदर वनश्रुष्टीही हि साम्य आहेत. प्रत्येक कथा विरहाची एक जखम मागे ठेवून थांबते.
"नदी किनाऱ्यावरील दुधीची झ्हाड़ कशी पांढऱ्या शुभ्र फुलांनी बहरली आहेत. त्यांचा मंद गंध येतोय, तो बाहेर पाहून तुझीच आठवण झ्हाली.

मी रानकेळीची बन पाहत एकटाच पायी जातोय. वरून रिमझीम पाऊस पडतोय. मला पाहून रस्त्यानं जाणारी कार थांबते. या घनदाट जंगलातल्या रस्त्यानं सहसा कोणी येत नाही. कोणी तरी युवती गाडीतून पाठमोरी उभी राहते, पण ती तू नसतेस. मला वेड्याला मात्र इतक्या वर्ष्यानंतर हि वाटत कि तू भेटशील या रानवाटेवर .

बांबूच्या बेटाआड उभं राहून त्यातून डोकावण्याची तुझी सवय मी अजून विसरलो नाही. घनदाट बासच्या जंगलातून जाताना तुझी आठवण येते!!" ......... केशराचा पाऊस.

From the first page book takes you into beauty of forests. Book is written very sensitively. Author has worked hard describing some rare animals, birds and trees. Book focuses on love while showing us wildlife. Book tells us many secrets about wildlife and some unique, unfamiliar things happening way far from our life that it feels like reading some fantasy. It shows relation between different aspects of human life with nature. One will surely feel dragged to wildlife after reading this.
