Sister Heather is just dying to see Braden again. Her fantasy is now reality, bringing with it new challenges. Using a contrived excuse, she escapes for two whole days to meet him at a trade show. They plan on packing as much sex and fun as possible into a limited time. Heather is falling in love with Braden, who understands her needs and is surprisingly gentle. It's not just about sex anymore.
Constance ‘Dusty’ Miller has written fiction, non-fiction and worked for newspapers and magazines. She did a brief stint as sports editor of a small-town weekly. She likes to make people laugh as well as think. Her erotica has a strong sense of the dramatic. Out of work and recovering from a life-threatening illness, someone suggested writing erotica which she initially rejected for lack of confidence. But love makes the world go around, and Dusty can no longer deny its pull. Dusty squeezes a little writing time in between raising a daughter and building a home-based business.
It is said that clothes make the man. Does the lack of clothes make the woman? This is just a random thought that entered my mind while I was reading this book. Heather had a normal childhood but now lived in the rigidly protected world inside the walls of a convent. Her life took a drastic turn when she met Braden. Their short hours of passion left her wanting more. Heather is a hedonist in the true sense of the word as her overactive imagination and her under experienced body sent her into lustful turmoil. A plan was devised and implemented to afford the two a weekend of passion. Heather escapes the all-seeing eyes and ears of her fellow convent sisters by fabricating a family emergency; consequences be damned! (This is a woman after my own heart) Their narcissist and wild weekend was the beginning of something neither one of them could imagine. Heather has a vivid and overactive imagination and has created a sexual bucket list that would cause most people to blush. This is not just the story of lust and forbidden pleasures but much more. Many of these stories pander sex as a commodity without feelings of love and deep emotion but just physical release. The author has captured another dimension by introducing the prospect of love. The one criticism I can find is that the story was far too short and the characters and their unique situation wasn’t significantly exploited.
