Rollicking inside-the-beltway thriller in the vein of Tom Clancy, the 1987 movie No Way Out and others. Ward Carroll is a USNA classmate whose writing and YouTube commentaries I've greatly enjoyed over the years. Little did Lieutenant Ash Roberts know that his Pentagon aide assignment would be an audition for an evil Paris-based, multinational amalgam of SPECTRE, Blackwater and Halliburton seeking him as a potential recruit for conspiracies and nefarious activities around the world. But Ash and his running mate Wild stick to principles and their SEAL skills see them through a series of break-ins, high-stakes chases and a surprise ending. An excellent page-turner overall.
