Some good glazing information and a few how-to tips. Best thing is the discussions and photos of the works of 100 different ceramicists. Some very awesome pieces, most out of the range of abilities of a relatively inexperienced potter like myself, but very inspiring. I'll be returning to this book again.
*** I did return to this book. The beautiful photos are definitely inspiring, even if the processes are beyond my hobby-potter level. The prose is definitely overwrought, but for a real potter the technical information about the process of constructing and decorating these ceramics would be most helpful, and is interesting even to a rank amateur.
