This book is really informative in all the right ways. It teaches the general basics of real estate as an investment and compares it to shares, how to finance property and how to find and operate properties. It also contains a lot of helpful little tips, for example: how a credit card can help you if you have an offset account.

I would highly recommend reading this book if you're interested in investing in real estate. I find it more helpful than a lot of other property books that seem to be just an opportunity for the author to show off how many properties they bought in such a short time frame. The writers of this book genuinely care about educating and helping their readers.

The title says it all. Are you a novice in property investment? Say no more; this book assumes you are still in your mother’s womb. It not only introduces you to property as an investment vehicle but also provides insights about other investment opportunities, such as shares, ETFs, and business start-ups. Neutrality is key in the approach—it’s informative, not persuasive. The book does not insist that you must invest in property to achieve financial freedom; you have options. If you still decide on property, consider your approach: staying for the long haul or needing quick money? The information is available. However, bear in mind that due to the nature of the content, it only lightly covers topics. Numbers are used appropriately, interlaced with tips, tricks, and red flags to keep you engaged until the end.

In short, if you’re unfamiliar with property investments, this is the best place to start
