The instructions on how to bake the pinecone to kill any insects is worth it alone to check out from the library. I've always wanted to gather my own pinecone and do this but growing buggies has always prevented me!
The crafts are easy and some are would be quite beautiful with the right color choices (the pinecone petal flowers are gorgeous). I would give more stars if only there were templates for the felt pieces that go to the project on the cover: forest friends.
All in all, a cute book with good ideas.
