This is a really informative book about Mardi Gras for kids. It’s also a good book for adults who have no idea what Mardi Gras is. I’m glad they included the King Cakes…but left out the infamous “Street Gravy” in New Orleans. Wear shoes with toes if you go. No sandals. Seriously.

A little too wordy for my 5yo son but definitely covers a lot of information and history around Mardi Gras
