This book appears to be published to give Australian young adults the knowledge they need to become involved in their duty to vote once they turn 18. It covers various forms of government in Australia: national, state and local. The current edition was published in 2018 and so some of the politicians shown are no longer in the role shown in the book. Still, the basic information is there and any teenager who reads it will be better informed when they reach voting age.
