This book did exactly what I needed it to do: to be a "memoir" full of 70's culture, sex & leisure. Cindy is hilarious to me. She literally just does every single thing she says she will do. Characters appear & disappear, nothing truly develops & honestly...we only hear about a senator for maybe half a chapter. STILL, I couldn't stop reading. Sure it's no Faulkner or Morrison, or anywhere near close; BUT it was the fast, fun read I was hoping to stumble upon & I found myself bummed when it was over. I love the 70's.
I enjoyed this read. It was from before my time and reading it I could tell by the way the sentences were spoken and some word errors. I think it could have had a different title because there was maybe only a chapter of talk about the senator. But in all it was good and I stated wanting to keep reading.
