This book gave me the more info about Rick and Brew that I wanted after "Not For Sale". After I finished this book, I still want to read more about them. What a hot couple. Would love to see a book that tells us how they "settle down" together in a BDSM way. Very erotic. Especially for those who sometimes like a little pain for their pleasure. I was really surprise by the end. Didn't see it coming.
2.5....Really really enjoyed the first one (Not For Sale). This one just didn't do it for me. Actually it did the opposite. This one should have come with a fu*k ton of trigger warnings. To be raped and tortured, then actually getting off on the rape and torture, and frikin forgiving the person who did it was just seriously WTF for me. Just not my cup of Diet Coke I guess.
Now everything that I didn’t like in the first book was corrected in this one. We were able to see what Brew was really up too and we also was thrown into the trafficking world. With the Russian Mafia making a huge present in this book, we finally got the intensity that I wished for before. Rick was reluctant to listen to Brew and his motives for what he did, but once he “listened” in the way only Rick and Brew communicate about the huge issues, in the playroom, he understood and they were back together again, for a bit. When Rick finds himself in a dangerous situation because of the ties Brew has with the Russians, Brew is forced to find his partner and save him. While in the situation Rick is forced to accept that there are parts of his personality that he doesn’t understand but has to believe is real. Could he really be aroused by pain? Shouldn’t he be offended and turned off by what they are doing to him? How is he going to explain this not only to himself but to Brew, if he ever sees him again? After the edge of your seat action we are able to see how Rick handles his new discoveries, while we watch Brew try to heal him. With other friends like Jojo and Joel trying to help, all of the softness and support is driving Rick crazy. It comes to the point only Brew knows what he needs. I found myself much more invested in book two and because of that I believe this needs is a series worth recommending. If you can deal with an M/M book, you will enjoy watching Brew and Rick develop a relationship that most won’t understand but you just know it works. The drama and action was great for me in book two and I had a hard time putting it down. Make sure you get your copy of this series.

What a conclusion (I hope not) to the story of Rick and Brew. The continuation of the action and danger kept me on the edge of my seat. What happens to Rick in this book is uncomfortable yet necessary to get Rick and Brew to where they are at the end. Rick had some more discoveries about himself that he had to come to terms with and share with Brew.
If I haven't said it before, these two are seriously hot. I hope we see them again.
If you liked the first book, you are sure to love this one. Brew and Rick pick up after everything came to grips in book one. Then the unexpected happens and things go from bad to worse. This book is action packed along with some hotness. I want more of these two. I would recommend this series. This is all M/M This book can be purchased in ebook form on smashwords
Liked this better than the first book. Good conclusion; got a clearer picture of the characters, and a better understanding of what was actually going on as the story played out. There was a twist at the end that I never saw coming. And, of course, the fact that the story takes place in the area in which I grew up was a bonus--familiar landmarks lent a touch of nostalgia.
