Her earliest memories are of life on an isolated 50-acre sheep ranch in rural Sonoma County, California. Picture rolling hills covered in brown grass, a eucalyptus forest, a long gravel driveway lined with plump sheep and no sidewalks. It was a big deal to drive into town on a one-lane road in a ramshackle, bubble-fendered pickup for an ice cream.

This book is quirky funny and so damn sweet at times. Love Blue even though some times his ego takes over and he doesn't know what's good for him. Blue is sexy as hell and a rich Bachelor and wanted by all women but some ex girlfriends didn't appreciate getting dumped by Blue so they take revenge . Great concept and it definitely delivered very funny at times. Maddy is perfect for Blue but they both have a lot to learn... well mostly Blue about relationships and love. I would love to read more by this author. Great characters, great book. 4. Stars

After reading AMBER RULES I was salivating for Blue's story--and it was worth the wait! This book has everything--characters you care about, a heroine to root for, a hero to fall in love with and laugh-out-loud antics that will keep you glued to the page. Following Blue on this journey is a trip...in more ways than one. Mel Curtis combines humor, sports, popular culture and heart in a read that will definitely make you smile. Bring on book three--Cora's going to be so much fun!

What a fun read! Maddie Polk, the bashful girl-next-door herione who comes to life after being put on the spot by the oh-so-sexy man who has it who has it all, Blue Rules. Between Mr. Jiggles turning pink to the rest of the hilarious pranks by the Playboy Avengers, hell bent on making Blue suffer for dumping them, this fast-paced, laugh-out-loud read pulls the heart strings of this reader. Can't wait to see what happens to Cora...

Oh what fun this was to read ex and revenge is the name of this game. What girl wouldn’t want pay back for a man who gave them the world for a few weeks and then dumped them like they were trash on the side walk? Blue loves his women he loves to have a good time and enjoys all the things a beautiful lady can give him. He makes no promise, tells no lie and treats them like they are his whole world that is until he has had enough and moves on to the next one. There is just one problem all the women he dates falls in love with him and are shattered when he walks out.
Blue has had his fun now he must pay the price as each woman come on the reality show gets even he finds his world is turned upside down and needs to put a stop to them and their games. When he takes a look back at his life he finds he is his father’s son. He promised his self he would never be like him but what he finds is he is a player just like him. As he regroups his life is when Maddy walks in turning his world more upside down.
Maddy new to the TV/filming world trying to make her big break with a top story that will make her career take off. She has stumbled over a big secret which is just what the doctor ordered to setup her career for life. There is just one problem Blue who has her in his sites. Can she stay focus on her career or will she fall victim to the Blues charm?
Blue decides he has paid enough for his crimes and will put it right by finding the right man for his ex’s. In his mind this should be easy not so much for the woman he has hurt. This makes this a very humorous read that had me laughing. In some ways this was a very touching story of self discovery as he puts forth a plan to help his ex’s really find their true happiness. It was so much fun watching Blue grow and change I cheered him on all the way. I loved the characters each brings so much to this story. I really enjoyed this story and watching Blue rethink his life giving back as he falls for Maddy. Watching them fall in love was a pleasure that gave me hours of smiles. If you are looking for a fun book with meaning this would be a book you should give a try.

Blue Rules is about Blue Rules (as crazy as it seems), who has a great job one that he loves very much, the only problem is he is a playboy. Though where it may seem a little problem to some people, but to Blue Rules it is a big problem. Having an angry group of women calling themselves The Playboy Avengers have dedicated to destroying everything you have ever worked for, is enough to stop his playboy antics.
With his sister, Amber on his case Blue must think of something to keep these women from damaging his family reputation. Add in Maddy, a woman who has a plan to help the Blue and Amber to keep their family name out of the dirt. Though Maddy method is different from most using a dating show to help the women who have dated Blue in the past.
Though what Maddy didn't expect was the connection she would develop with Blue, though Blue still has a lot to learn about women, love and what it means to have a relationship but maybe, just maybe Blue will be worth the trouble in the end.
Then again, this story wouldn't be the amazing story without a little trouble thrown in, with Maddy's friend Vera there to help her when needed, the women who lust over Blue even though he is not interested and last but not least Mr Jiggles, a family pet.
Blue Rules will take you on an journey of laughter, pink dogs and the dangers of breaking women's hearts, this is an story that shouldn't be left off your reading list. There is also the added sexual tension between Blue and Maddy that plays out throughout the book, that add the sizzle to this wonderful book. Simply amazing.
If I had to sum this book up in three words, they would be Amazing, Humorous and Daring.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a great story with a sexy and mysterious character that is Blue Rules.

Blue Rules is the second book in this series. I started out with this book, but then stopped and read the first one. It was much better that way. Dooley Rule started the Dooley Foundation to help people with insecurities, relationships, goals, dreams, etc. When he died he left his company to his children, the only problem his children had unresolved issues with him and the stipulations of the will.
This was Blue' s Story. The last person in the world Blue ever wanted to be like was his dad. Blue had a no attachment rule for relationships. That rule caused the Avengers to be formed. The Avengers were super creative in making Blue "pay" for dumping them. The negative attention caused problems not only for Blue but for the Foundation. Daddy blows in with solution to Blue' s problem but has the power to change other things as well. Blue Rules had me laughing out loud as well as being heartwarming and touching. I highly recommend this book and am looking forward to Cora Rules.

Blue Rule doesn't like confrontation but he hates being the target of the Playboy Avengers even more. If they reveal his identity as their cruel lover, he'll be destroyed. His ex-girlfriends have him running scared. Now a filmmaker approachs Amber with a proposal for a reality show starring Blue and the women he dated and dropped. What's he going to do? Blue is a bad boy with a heart. He doesn't want to hurt anyone. He understands women and tries to make them happy. He just doesn't do commitment. That is until he meets Maddy. She's feisty and tells it like it is. They have chemistry and are good together, but they are so different. I wanted their romance to work, but I wasn't sure how they would beat the odds. I loved the snarky and quirky Hollywood scene. L.A. Happenings by Lyle Lincoln sets the perfect tone for their romance. With vengeful former lovers and Blue's dysfunctional family in the picture, Blue and Maddy have their hands full. I enjoyed their adventure. Mel Curtis has written interesting characters, humorous situations and great dialogue. Now that Blue's story is finished. I want to see Cora find her HEA.

I enjoyed reading about Blue Rule. This is the second story in the Rules series. Blue is forced to work for his father's foundation (life coaching business) as a condition of receiving his inheritance. He is hindered by the Playboy Avengers, a group of his ex girlfriends who are playing pranks on him and generally are out to make his life miserable. Add in a reality show producer and things get interesting quickly.
Without giving anything away I just have to say that it was great seeing how Blue's beliefs and feelings about his father changed as he learned more about the foundation, it's methods, and its clients.

I loved Blue's book. I loved reading about him and what made him tick. He is one sexy hot guy. And for him to help all his exes even after everything they did was awesome. I also loved how he was able to read women. It takes an awesome man to actually look at a woman and figure out how they tick. and I absolutely loved seeing characters from the first book. I can't want to read the next book!

Once again, Mel Curtis delivers a hot read full of humor and Hollywood high jinks! Blue’s exes are out for revenge and this notorious bad boy meets his match in more ways than one. The Rules and their escapades are always unexpected and entertaining!

'Blue Rules' by Mel Curtis is book 2 in the Hollywood Rules series. This is a very entertaining, fun, hot read! I loved Blue's story. This is a great series. Looking forward to see what happens next with the Rules and all the rest of characters in this series.
