Ali Imam (আলী ইমাম) is a Bangladeshi children's writer and audio-visual organizer. He written a lots of scientific story, travel story etc. for children.

Imam has written more than 550 books, translated nearly 40. Child psychology, humanism and adventure is found in his writing. A simple style is available. Adventures, science fictions, stories related with historic events are the categories.

Ali Imam was the General Manager of Bangladesh Television and retired from the job in 2006. He is now hosting two popular TV Talk shows in private channels and more concentrating in his forthcoming books.He is Very Famous Familiar Face in Bangladesh about his Workings Experience.

দুর্দান্ত বই। যখন পড়েছিলাম তখন দারুণ লেগেছিল। এতবছর পর ফেসবুকে বইয়ের নাম দেখে ভাল লাগছে। বেশ আধিভৌতিক একটা ব্যাপার আছে বইতে, গা ছমছমে ব্যাপারে পুরো। কিশোর উপন্যাস/নভেলা হিসাবে বেশ ভাল।

লেখক উপন্যাস না লিখে হিমছড়ি নিয়ে প্রবন্ধ লিখলে অনেক ভাল করতেন। বইতে নব্বই ভাগ হিমছড়ি/সেইন্ট মার্টিন দ্বীপের বর্ণনা, সমুদ্র নিয়ে হাজার রকম তথ্য ইত্যাদি ছিল শুধু গল্প ব্যাপার টা ছিল না।
