Outlaw bikers and magic don’t mix.

After fifteen years living free, cruising the open road, and trying (not particularly hard) to keep within the law., Black and his brother Sam ride into the small town of Banks. Something about the place captures their interest and before long they’re putting down roots.

But Black's no hero, so when a wizard appears asking for help, he turns him down. Hard. But there's no avoiding the weird in Banks. First, a redheaded bombshell witch marches into his tattoo studio demanding a job. Then, Black gets claimed by the Haida raven god.

Outlaw bikers aren't meant to be heroes. But danger is drawing near, and Black and his pack must choose a side if they stand any chance of making it out of Banks alive.

Born on the mean streets of London, raised by witches, Jobie walked into a tattoo parlour on her eighteenth birthday and was claimed by Alectrona, goddess of the morning. Known for her ability to wake others from slumber, Alectrona turned her powers to bringing long-forgotten gods and goddesses to life through Jobie's books.

For many years, Jobie restlessly wandered the dangerous road between the Dark City and Magical Isle with only her two flesh-hounds and the laptop of purple fire for company.

Somewhere on the road, some say in Sin City - others are certain it was in the Viking Realm - she married her outlaw-biker soul mate.

Now they travel the road together. In places, the path is much overgrown, but she will not waiver from her mission until all the gods who wish to return to this dimension have successfully claimed their human hosts.

This story is perfect for paranormal romance readers who love inked bad boys on motorcycles and sexy witches with a hidden agenda of their own. Tattoo shop owner Black, now known as Raven, and his curvy assistant (and certified witch) Sophie have their hands full when a malevolent wizard comes to town. A steamy romance between Raven and Sophie is mixed in to the magic and intrigue of the action packed storyline. I enjoyed reading this book!

What a wonderfully fantastical story! Each of these characters from Raven to Red and all in between them were unique and devoted to their cause. I really enjoyed the story and stayed at the edge of my seat at times. Great story!

He is known as Black until she comes along and starts calling him Raven.

I read this one after Ink and Flak, this one goes back to Raven's past starting out when he was buying his tattoo parlor and his brother was buying a bar. They had finally decided to settle down and join a biker gang. Then Raven gets attacked by a rival biker gang and when the leader of his gang does nothing he storms off to cool off. Soon after that a girl named Sophie talks Raven into giving her a job. One of the guys from his biker gang comes in and tells him that a couple of the other guys were attacked and are in the hospital and still the leader does nothing. Raven decides to go to the rivals clubhouse to do something about it. Some of the boys from his gang follow him and Sophie shows up as well to help and he thinks he sees her using a wand. After they come away victorious and have celebrated their victory, Raven goes for a walk and something happens. He thought he was dying but the next thing he knows is there is an extra tattoo on his chest and it seems to move. That is when a wizard comes and tells him he was claimed by a god to be his Guide to help save that world but Raven has no interest in saving the world.

Things start to happen for him, Sophie admits she is a witch, and more of his gang starts to be claimed by Guides.

It is an interesting read to see how the Tribe was started and how Raven's pack came together. I am definitely going to read the rest of this series.
