Manly Food - you know what it means! Vindaloo not korma, barbeque not casserole, flaming absinthe not pina-colada.

In this book, 18 chapters are arranged by areas of interest, such as 'Pure Meat', 'Wild and Foraged', 'Manly Cocktails' or 'Chilli and Spice' - or occasion, such as 'Grill and Barbeque', 'Fast Food', 'TV Dinners' and 'Hangover Cures. There are 200 recipes, each accompanied by easy-to-follow instructions, and over 100 colour photographs, making Manly Food both exciting to look at and easy to use.

The book also contains a butchery guide, offering the chance to learn how to make bacon or prepare a whole roast suckling pig, as well as other useful tips on building a barbeque from scratch or sharpening knives.

Manly Food offers readers the first genuinely complete companion for those who love hearty food and is the perfect gift for the man in your life.

Love this book- you need to follow them to the letter, but the result is always tasty!

Eh. 1:4 or so picture to recipe ratio, which is disappointing. The recipes sound pretty tasty but are *complicated* and out of my meager skill range. Also, "Manly", really? Like food needs to be chosen based on your testosterone levels.
