About the author

I have lived in Bellingham for thirty-two years. I am married and have children and grand children now.
I lived in Olympia Washington until the age of twelve, and then moved to Covina California until I went into the US Navy. I served for seven years, leaving the Navy in San Diego California. I then briefly lived in Seattle but finally settled here in Bellingham.
I travel to Alaska on a regular schedule working on the electronics of fishing vessels. Yes I have even been on a few of the Deadliest Catch vessels.
I decided to start writing about a year ago. The idea for Duplicity came to me on the road to Anacortes Washington as I was heading to a job sight

"This is defiantly a read you will not be able to guess as to how the plot unfolds."

Did anyone even edit this? Shouldn't it be definitely?

I won a copy of this book through GoodReads Giveaways. What follows is my honest review of this book.

Duplicity is a fast-paced, easy read, with a good Science Fiction story line. The heroine of the story is 17 year old Emily, who, following the break-up of her parents' marriage, finds a special crystal in her mother's used-items store. The crystal, with its special powers, leads Emily to the planet of Venta, through time travel/time folding, where she becomes a Seer for the Guardians. You can find out more when you read the story! There are plenty of sci-fi themes, and even romance and drama in this book, which certainly held my attention and kept me coming back for more.

I could not give it 5 stars, which I really wanted to, because of the apparent lack of adequate proofing of the self-published manuscript. There were numerous punctuation, grammar, and even word errors throughout the book.

But, all of that said, I did enjoy reading this book very much.

Best of luck to you, David, on the sequel you are writing!
