Baxter: The Steam Powered Dog
Age 9 - 12 | Grade 4th and up
Baxter is no ordinary dog. He's entirely mechanical and powered by steam! As with all machines though, when a part breaks, it's difficult for the rest to function correctly. Baxter is slowly falling apart, but luckily a student found him before he completely shut down. Will they be able to get Baxter repaired before it's too late?
The Steam Powered Dog is a 4200 word steampunk fantasy for kids by Marcus Emerson & Noah Child, and is also available in Open Fantastical Short Stories For Kids.
