This book is simply amazing! Is full of very important articles and analysis that stay current even today.
I think is probably the best introduction to women and lesbian resistance to male violence. The book is written mostly by lesbian or women-identifies women, so all the perspectives are very radical and moving.
It has seven section, each of one deals with a particular aspect of feminist resistance and analysis of male violence. The whole anthology is very weel organized, and is easy to follow and identified all the different subjects. In particular, I would say that has some very rich analysis of what male violence is, how women created mobilizations against battering, rape, sexual harassment and pornography, and responses (and hopes) from radical feminist, lesbian separatist, and socialist feminist perspectives.
