Dark secrets continue to gather in the once-perfect world of Elizabeth Lancaster. Lizzie’s memory has returned, but remembering doesn’t help her find the answers she’s been looking for. Rob is gone. Her friends have become distant. And now, she is finding herself tempted to walk away from Cain Atchley, who holds her heart.
Hoping to put some of the previous year’s madness behind her, Lizzie travels to North Dakota to attend college. While there, she stays with old friends of her family—the Howards. She finds solace in her new relationships with most of the family, especially Nick. But she has history with one Howard in particular that she would soon rather forget.
The annual Lancaster Harvest is being held in December this year, so Lizzie can remain involved. A masquerade Christmas ball will be the main event at the Lancaster manor. With guests dressed in Victorian attire and masks to hide identities, Lizzie will make acquaintances that will impact her future, and she will unknowingly come face to face with her past.
While many changes occur in Lizzie’s life, some things refuse to be left behind. The darkness that has haunted her dreams has now become a reality. An apparition in the form of Rob Jacobs comes to her each night, causing Lizzie to question what is real. She even starts to wonder about the truth behind her daddy’s story of The Three Crowns. What will fate reveal to Elizabeth Lancaster? And will she be able to face what lies ahead of her, or will she become lost in the shadows once more?

I received a review copy of North from the Author in exchange for an honest review.
This is the second book in the Three Crowns series. The author done a great job of refreshing readers about situations that happened in the previous book. I found the book very enjoyable and read it within 2 days time. The book is easy to read and flows very well from scene to scene. The author gives enough details to set the scene but leaves room for your imagination to fill in the rest (I prefer this because lengthy, descriptive paragraphs are not for me).
This book has it all! Drama, love triangles, vampires, and ancient prophecies. It will leave you wanting to read the next book!!! I highly recommend this book!
I received a review copy of North from the Author in exchange for an honest review. After reading the first volume of The Three Crown Series 'Sweet Tea', I have been dying to read North. I was so engaged in reading this book that I completed it in one sitting. There are so many things happening in North. There was never a dull moment. Sonya does an excellent job keeping you wondering what's going to happen next. Then out of nowhere she's thrown you for a loop. I found myself looking up and asking myself, did that just happen? I already know that this is going to be one of my favorite book series. I only wish the series was already completed so I wouldn't have to wait to see what happens next. If you haven't ready 'Sweet Tea' or 'North' I would definitely recommend it!
I received a review copy of North from the Author in exchange for an honest review. Lizzie and Cain will take you on a roller coaster ride in "North" that you will not want to miss. Some things you will not see coming but you will be in for the ride. Get ready for a lot of twist and turns. Grab your "Sweet Tea" and then your copy of "North" today. You will not be sorry! I cannot wait for Book 3. Sonya Ray is a very talented author whose story line of the Three Crowns will have you hooked.
Sonya Ray once again has written another brilliant book in The Three Crowns series. I loved Sweet Tea (the first book in the series) and I wasn't sure how North would compare with a new cast of characters being placed in Lizzie's life. Sonya has such a way of painting a picture with words and connecting you to the characters that I soon fell in love with the new friends (and family) that are now an integral part of the story. This paranormal romance has a great story in its pages with twists and turns, always leaving you waiting for more. A lot of questions were answered in this book but a lot more remain...I can't wait until the third book in the series comes out! I would strongly recommend reading this book and Sweet Tea to anyone who has interest in the genre, you won't be disappointed!

North is the second book of the Three Crowns Series. After reading the first book in the series, Sweet Tea, I have been eagerly waiting for this book to come out. It was brilliant, the Author has most certainly outdone herself yet again. This book has everything… drama, intrigue, Vampires, an ancient prophecy, a love triangle and lots of twists and turns that will keep you turning the pages and wanting more. The writing style flows effortlessly and makes this book an easy read. The plot is well thought out and very well executed. This book is a must read. I can’t wait for the next book in this series to come out. Well Done Sonya for another excellent book.
I received a review copy of North from Sonya Ray in exchange for an honest review. Sonya contacted me knowing I loved book one and asked if I would like to read & review book 2. After reading the first book Sweet Tea, I have been dying to read North. I was hooked from the first page and just had to know what was going to happen. Sonya has a way of painting a picture with her words where you feel like your there. If you enjoy books with Vampires, Love triangles & Drama you will love this series! So go check out Sweet Tea and then read this one you wont regret it!! Can't wait to read Broken Boundaries :)Thanks again for letting me read & review this book!!
I received a review copy of North from the Author in exchange for an honest review. Loved, loved, loved this book!! I thought Sweet Tea (first book in this series) was awesome, but Sonya Ray has out-done herself with North. The twists and turns, unexpected happenings (and there are quite a few) will have you turning pages so fast, you will not want to put this book down. Another cliff-hanger ending has me on pins and needles waiting for the third book in the series. I highly recommend The Three Crowns series - pick up your copy of Sweet Tea and then head North. You will not be disappointed.
I received a review copy of North from the Author in exchange for an honest review. I have been hooked since Sweet Tea but North has made the series and addiction. I love the twist and turns and how the characters become so real and you become a part of Lizzie’s life. Things just keep happening that you don’t see coming and stopping at the end of a chapter is not easy!!!
Sonya I am so glad I met you and have this opportunity to take this journey with you!! Sonya they just keep getting better!! Now how do I make it till your next book is out? Love the series!!
North is book 2. Elizabeth Lancaster has graduated high school and gone north to college. There she finds new friends, learns old secrets, and slowly awakens some of the powers within her. Her relationship with Cain is as tumultuous as ever for most of book two. Her life is changing and it is so intriguing. The shock of book 2 is just as crazy as the climax in book 1.
Love Elizabeth Lancaster. I can see each scene happening. I can feel all of Lizzie's emotions. She is so strong.
North is an excellent book 2. I can't wait for the rest of this 7 book series.
I can't get enough of Lizzie, Cain, Rob and all of the Meadows gang! North is just as compelling as the first book in the series. Filled with love, suspense, drama, and with a touch of paranormal, these books are simply fantastic. Sonya is one heck of a writer, who brings her characters & their stories to life in such a way, it leaves you craving more! I can't wait to see what's awaiting the cast in book three!

'North' picks up where 'Sweet Tea' leaves off. This book had me glued to the pages. I literally could not put it down. Lizzie's life has been one emotional roller coaster ride. I liked how the storyline flowed with such intensity, such emotion. This book is one that is well thought out. I loved the characters. They each brought something to this book. I love the twists that are thrown in. I hate that I have to wait for the next book 'Broken Boundaries' to come out before I find out what happens next. I look forward to reading it. A great add to your tbr list. Recommended read.

Things are getting complicated and stressful. Prophecies are never easy. Lizzie acclimated well to the north and gained new friends and family. Being human in a complicated situation leads to suspicions and confusion. Her and Cain had so many ups and downs I am still trying to process them all. I loved most of the new characters introduced in this book. There were a few times all the back and forth drove me crazy but I am sure it will all be worth it when the truth comes out.
*All spoilers removed* I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review through Lovers of Paranormal on goodreads!!
4.5 stars!!!
Well Lizzy Lancaster is defiantly all grown up! I really enjoy the way Mrs. Sonya Ray has written these stories. Lizzy's perspective is most prominent and this allows the readers to understand her exact thought process and occasionally throwing in other characters POV fills you in in the story while also allowing the reader to see the changes in Lizzy from the eyes of another. It seems she's grown from a strong minded young lady to a skeptical, worried, but still very strong and intelligent young woman. Her changes are to be expected with the tragedy, being kept "in the dark", and changes that define her. Cain also has grown a great deal in this book. "The North" puts Cain through a lot and brings he and Lizzy together and pushes them apart all at once. The changes in Lizzy and the events that transpire make him see Lizzy differently and thus he grows in Character. Baby Baker makes an appearance and for me was the tear jerker of this book. As with "Sweat Tea" I think it puts the reader through most every emotion (ALMOST know how Lizzy feels!!!) The story it's self has so many unexpected twist. Lots of excitement! There seemed to be a bit of repetitiveness but only because I've read the first novel. Lizzy's thoughts would allow someone who has not read the first novel to understand what's going on or if you've read book one a while ago it would freshen your memory (although there are scenes that we not in the first novel). The North puts Lizzy through more trams and mixed emotions than the first did. However to me it seemed like the entire book was more of a set up for what's to come. I have to say.... The ending really disappointed me!!!! I'm curious what it will bring to the next in the series..... Another note I feel I should make is the great writing. I've read both novels and have only found a few minor errors or spots that confused me a bit! Sonya Ray has a knack for mystery and I can't wait to see what is yet to come!
Starting out I just wanted to read these books because they were based in my hometown but they have quickly become my favorites. I keep thinking to myself that I know what's going on and I turn the page and it's something I never thought happening. Also when she talks about missing home I am right there with her. This book brought up emotions I didn't think I would feel especially about southeast Missouri. I WAS one of those people that have been trying there whole life to get out but now all I want is to go home.
I really enjoy reading about how Lizzie has definitely become her own after tragic events in the first book. Things were rough but she got through them and it's nice to read about a strong woman in books these days. I really cannot wait to read the next one!
North is a beautiful continuation if Sweet Tea. I was able to fall right back into the story as if I'd never left it. Sonya Ray's second installment of The Three Crowns follows Lizzie 'North' as she struggles to hold herself together. As she makes friendships and rekindles old ones we get to watch her grow as a person and a little more of 'The Plan' is revealed. I would definitely recommend reading 'Sweet Tea' first as well as urging readers to pick up 'North'. This is a series that has a bit of everything from soul searching dilemmas to heartbreaking decisions and it just keeps getting better!

I really enjoyed "Sweet Tea" which was the first book in the Three Crowns Series. Sonya left us hanging at the end of "Sweet Tea". "North" jumps right in where "Sweet Tea" ended. The questions were answered by not in the way I anticipated. You are introduced to Lizzie's North family. Lizzie is still struggling with her feelings for Rob and Cain. She is still having strange dreams or are these dreams.
Sonya builds up the suspense again with this book and leaves you wanting more.
You don't want to miss out on this great series. Looking forward to reading "Broken Boundaries".

There is a great deal going on for Lizzy in this book. There are so many up's and down's, twist's and turn's and some very shocking revelations! The relationship between Cain and Lizzy is rocky at best! North is intense and very emotional. I must say that the last two chapters thoroughly confused me but I am assuming that my questions will be answered in the next installment which I am very much looking forward to reading. This is a great series and I highly recommend it.
I love the ongoing story about Lizzie and her interesting life. Sonya has done such a wonderful job, with the twists, turns, and oh my, what some surprises. Sonya has written the books in such a way that I feel the story and can really get a great visual. I'm anxiously awaiting Broken Boundaries. North has taken me to the bitter cold winters of Nort Dakota and the pink sand beaches of the Bahamas, I'm anxious to see where I'll get to travel to next...
I love this book. I couldn't put it down when I started reading it. I love the story. Once I started reading it I felt like I was contacted to the Characters in north. I definitely recommend everyone needs to read it!!!

I really really want to love this book. I enjoy all the characters, but I am having a hard time. It just seems so discombobulated. There are just so many random events. The point of view for Nick for example doesn't make since and there isn't another one. She has the dream and Cain has to glamour her and her protector show up but the where in the North and there wasn't a mention of him coming whit Cain. I gave it three stars because I do want to be in love, I am not sure u am.
