From Don to Dom
Dear Author,
My name is fifth-generation Sicilian, passed down from father to son. Just like my profession. Mob boss with the Cosa Nostra. These are my boys. The one to my right is strong-willed and needs a firm hand. The one to my left is damaged and fragile, and requires more patience than I have most days. They have each other, which is good because we’re at war with a rival family, and my time to devote to them is not enough, never enough. I fear one or both will become a target. A way to hurt me where I live, where I love and from which I’d never recover.

LHNB Story released 31.8.13

Mafia menage with added kink... Giancarlo is a mafia boss, answering only to his own grandfather who is head of The Family. He's also gay and closeted for safety's sake, however, this doesn't stop him rescuing Braulio the young only son of another mafia boss, whose father has abused him for most of his childhood and badly beat him up when he came out. Rodrigo is also the son of a mafia boss, only his father is in jail, and Rodrigo has been vandalising property owned by Giancarlo's family but is caught by Claudio, Giancarlo's right hand man - who has something of a vendetta against him. When Giancarlo confronts Rodrigo he ends up putting the young man over his lap and spanking him, leading to unexpected feelings for both men. But Braulio is in danger, his father has taken out a contract on him, and Giancarlo hires Rodrigo to protect the younger man. The three men all want each other, but they each have different needs and desires. As they learn the boundaries of their relationship they face hired killers and a traitor in the family, all of which have to be taken care of before they can reach a HEA. I enjoyed this one, though is was a stretch to see Giancarlo falling so easily into his role as Dom to Rodrigo from apparently being previously completely vanilla.

It was an interesting read and had some very interesting connotation. it was very erotic and had a great plot in a mafia type setting. end up being a m/m/m relationship.

I felt like I needed a scorecard! There were so many people to remember and their names all seemed to end in o!
This was a quick but really good read. The characters were well developed and the story flowed smoothly. Giancarlo and Braulio love each other but can't be together. Then Rodrigo enters the picture and there is instant attraction between the three.
The scene where Giancarlo first met Rodrigo was hot. I was not expecting Giancarlo to but I'm glad he did!
This story has a little bit of bdsm in it but I think if we were to revisit Giancarlo and his boys in a year there would be much more of it.
Claudio is an ass.

Nicely surprised by this short story! This is a short story, like I already knew for the description, but I thought it was simply a few sex scenes involving a threesome. But no, it's a well written novelette with developed characters and a good plot. Too bad is so short. I read it in one sitting and I enjoy the details of these characters' lives. I care for them while reading their ordeal and the love scenes are hot and explicit, but there are a couple of tender moments that I found touching. Another new author for my favorite list.

Great story
I thought it was going to be the quick heartless sex story but I was wrong. It had lots of heart and innocents and the characters are all great and well rounded. The story was interesting and I really wanted this story to continue. Giancarlo was so caring and giving. I think that he can come out of his closet because it seems that everybody already knows or is gay themselves.

Two way relationships are complicated. Three-ways are far more intricate, obviously, but Naaju did such a sensible and credible work of it, one would think they are cakewalks.
Loved each character and understood where they were coming from easily. I just wished it had been a little longer because I needed more of them.
I recommend it with a resounding whoop whoop!

This short story packs in a lot of action, and gives us an interesting glimpse into the criminal underworld as well as some very hot action. In fact I was left wanting more, but definitely enjoying what I'd read.
I shall be looking out for more by this author, as the writing flows well, and the dialogue works. Recommended

Enjoyed this a lot. My first M/M and it was a m/M/m ménage. The author really managed to create the affection and love between the characters as well as the sex. A good crime thriller as well. Simple but effective with excellent authorial control of all the characters POV.

This is one of the few mmm Mafia stories I've found/read and I really enjoyed it. I don't usually enjoy mmm stories as a whole since I often find the relationships unbelievable or too casual but not with this book. There was a strong connection made with all the MCs. It was suspenseful, sexy and heartfelt. Most definitely worth a read!

This is a neat quick read story about a Mafia boss, well the boss grandson and his hidden secret, well that is all I am telling cause if I say a certain part will spoil the story, it is a very interesting and well written story

I really liked this book. The author really put a lot in a short book. The characters were well rounded and likable with a great suspense story thrown in. Oh yeah, the sex was HAWT!

This was a pretty captivating story, especially since it concerns the mob. Giancarlo, Rodrigo, and Braulio, were good together with Giancarlo being the main staple for the other two. There was danger, intrigue, and betrayal in this story, along with lots of heat. The BDSM is light in this book making it much more pleasant for me. I enjoyed this extraordinary triad and I wouldn't mind reading more about these three guys. :)

The characters were great. Luciano and Nico were funny and dangerous on their own. Giancarlo, Braulio and Rodrigo were the perfect grouping. Loving respectful and honest. Great read

This was more of a 2.5 stars but I wanted to round up because it was part of the Don't Read In The Closet event which only allows so much time to put a story together and it had such potential. The premise was fun with a strong-natured but sweet guy in a family (and I mean that in a Mob kinda way) that expected certain things. He worked to find a balance between taking care of the people in his life and finding some happiness for himself, and was walking a fine line when two guys with opposite personalities walk in and shake it all up. All the typical Mob stuff comes in with secret meetings, hideouts, informants, betrayals, etc. and through it all the Don figures out that this Dom thing is really turning him on. His two 'subs' (or at least wanna-be subs) had very different but complimentary personalities and they, along with a few lesser characters were interesting and made you want to know more about them.
But the story lacked cohesion. There were spots that it seemed like the author had come back and re-written a section after the characters had developed in her mind, but not necessarily on paper, so it felt like you missed something while you were reading - I even checked the page structure to make sure I hadn't. Also, the story was too short to allow for the characters and their relationship to develop well, especially with the Mob details taking up so much of the story. All of this can be explained by the nature of the event it was written for, but it has such potential that I hope the author comes back and re-writes it into a longer, fuller story. The best part (for me anyway) was the realization of the main character that hey, this spanking/Dominating thing is pretty hot and seeing where he could go with it. Overall, it was still a fun read and an interesting premise.

I picked this up as a freebie for a challenge because BDSM is not really my thing. The BDSM in here was really very light. A little spanking, little bondage, nothing more, so that worked for me.
I like the whole mafia aspect of it, though I was a little confused about a few tings, like the previous "relationship" between Giancarlo and Rodrigo...they knew each other from before, but didn't? I don't know. Anyhoo, I appreciate a menage story when done where there isn't cheating or jealousy or unfairness, so this again was good on that.
I think this being so short I didn't get too much into the characters and how they felt, but I liked the general idea of it. Though I , the author is apparently much nicer than I am.

Loved the storyline. Strong characters that intertwine while still living within their families. Shows how even though family could abandon and even put a hit out on their son, you can choose your own family. Braulio, Rodrigo and Giancarlo, like the 3 musketeers deserve their HEA.
