"Shouldn't you be at the front of the pack?" I asked him, trying to retain a calm demeanor.
"Probably," Heath said. "But when I saw that you weren't running beside me, I knew there was something wrong." His hand was still on my face as his golden eyes bore into mine. "You belong beside me."
I felt a delicious thrill as Heath's free hand slid across my waist and rested on my hip. There was an immense strength in his grip as he drew me towards him. Finally, our bodies were touching. Hot, fast paced and needed limited brain power - which is fab for me as a teacher in exam season.

This book was pretty fast past even for a short story. The cat fight between Serena and psycho bitch Athena was awesome until psycho bitch started winning and Heath had to interfere. The sex scene though devoid of any for play was very descriptive and hot ;) and definitely worth reading.
