About the author

Noelle handwrote her first romance novel in a spiral-bound notebook when she was twelve, and she hasn't stopped writing since. She has lived in eight different states and currently resides in Virginia, where she teaches English, reads any book she can get her hands on, and offers tribute to a very spoiled cocker spaniel.

She loves travel, art, history, and ice cream. After spending far too many years of her life in graduate school, she has decided to reorient her priorities and focus on writing contemporary romances.

Each of these stories is short, maybe 100-150 pages or so. As such, 3 stars is the max star rating I can give for each of them, individually. I like to save my 4 and 5 star ratings for books that take longer than an afternoon to read and have more depth to the story. That's not a criticism of shorter stories, but that's just the way I feel about it. In order for a book to garner 4 or 5 stars from me, I need to be completely enthralled for more than a couple hours. That said, I highly recommend this boxed set for anyone looking for some feel good, quick romance with happily ever afters. The first 3 stories were absolutely wonderful. Even though the 4th book is a total loss, the boxed set was TOTALLY worth the $ .99 I spent on it!

This is a superb collection of four separate, stand-alone books by four different authors, sharing the same theme of female protagonists in different dangerous situations falling in love with the bodyguards protecting them. I loved each story, biting my nails at the suspense, not knowing what was going to happen next, and rooting for the girl to get the good guy. I would be hard-pressed to pick a favorite - I loved them all! I would definitely recommend this set!

Eh. The first two are good. The third not so great - the heroine was ridiculous in the battle she chose and the hero seemed to have issues mixing business with pleasure as well as recognizing another person's independence. The fourth, I most likely won't finish. So, I guess my rating would really be 2.5, if that were an option.
