Mysteries abound and Alice-Miranda is on the case.
Eight-year-old Alice-Miranda and her friend Millie have made a dazzling discovery in the woodlands near their boarding school. But they aren’t the only ones searching for treasure. Back at school, sixth-grader Jacinta is being particularly grumpy, and no one quite knows why. When Myrtle Parker’s husband disappears, Alice-Miranda puts on her detective hat: there are mysteries to be solved.
Alice-Miranda’s latest adventure is an action-packed mystery story for girls who love to read. A truly positive heroine for girls, Alice-Miranda is funny, kind, optimistic and able to solve just about any problem.

In the tradition of the Enid Blyton Malory Towers and St Clares school stories, Alice-Miranda Shines Bright is the eighth in the popular Alice-Miranda series, which follows the adventures of Alice-Miranda and her friends at their boarding school, the Winchesterfield-Downsfordvale Academy for Proper Young Ladies.
In Alice-Miranda Shines Bright, Alice-Miranda has to simultaneously deal with an oddly grumpy friend, a mysteriously missing person and a greedy treasure hunter in a story that shines bright on the connections that grow between schools, families and communities.
Recommended for independent readers at upper primary level, Alice-Miranda Shines Bright is a showcase for girls’ problem-solving, leadership and social skills. The characters are well developed; the story is well written and plot is engaging.
Llamarlos casos no sería correcto.
This is the most amazing book ever. Alice Miranda is such a lucky girl and so nice and knows everyone. I would recommend this for a easy read and an entertaining read. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜💙💚💛🧡❤️
I love the series and this book is AMAZING! It is not my favorite but it is a very well made book that is just perfect in every way! Jacqueline Harvey is truly a brilliant author :D!
