A new collection of short stories from the author of Bop contains twenty tales permeated with such themes and motifs as characters searching for signs of acceptance and the truths revealed in a shared look, or an offhand remark.
I enjoy short story collections that focus on a lot of the mundanity of life. However, these stories often became too mundane.
