"for those who like smut and masked men"
if the novella was 70 pages long i would’ve understood why their relationship would revolve around smut scenes and basta. but, the length was sufficient to explore and develop their bond. rather than focus on the protagonists it deviated to another couples drama and a lot of irrelevant conversations. i also didn’t like how their sex-encounters would finish so abruptly without them talking much or exchanging about anything that wasn’t sex related. i didnt get why the mmc was so incline to not show her his face and it just felt dragged. the illustrations were pretty tho and loved the concept !

A masked biker and an artist working at a gas station gave life to this. The mmc was hot and slightly possessive and I didn’t know if I wanted to run at first or was sat.I was indeed sat As for the fmc, all I’ll say is she had a deep sense of awareness about everything which made this so much more enjoyable.

started off promising but the story lost me along the way. why was there sm side characters and their drama that we don’t care about we ain’t here for that. i got so bored. and there truly weren’t enough scenes between the mcs. and then not him getting a tat for her a few weeks in?? you’re simply doing too much sir.
also this mans the most dramatic mf i ever seen. and i KNOW he extended that face reveal because thats his TWIN bro they looked identical in that face reveal 😃

It is so rare for me to rate a novella 5 stars but HOT DAMN DOES THIS ONE DESERVES IT. This novella felt like a full-length book. It didn't feel rushed, the writing was enjoyable and I loved the characters.
Violet meets 'Biker Guy' aka Devon on the graveyard shift at the gas station where she works. When Devon saves her from an aggressive customer, their playful banter becomes a lot more... intense . Devon quickly realises that Violet has a slight (understatement) mask kink and refuses to remove his bike helmet / ski mask. I loved the mystery around Devon, and his face reveal had me laughing. The man had to ensure his reveal was dramatic.
I'm hoping, praying that the author does a novella for Devon's brother Kas because I just know I'm going to love it!

This one was a good book! It's very short, very spicy!
We meet Violet working her new job at a gas station graveyard shift. It's boring, and well, it's a job she meets Biker guy and his mysterious self. We know nothing about him. He teases violet when he comes to the gas station and also protects her when an angry guest tries something. Their relationship is very medium instaburn she loves that she doesn't know him or seen his face but also alittle annoyed about that because she never done this.
As for Biker guy, aka Devon, he holds all the power and loves this game there playing. Kisses in dark rooms, ski masks, and some fun on his bike. 💦💦💦 but all mysterious must come to an end. And I enjoyed how he showed her his face. We also get some side charas and I can't wait for their stories.
No ow/om drama, no cheating, slight secondary character, tiny drama, sexy times, no virgins

I saw Pump Two on twitter mainly the illustrations inside the novel. They're so pretty!!! I was veryyy intrigued by them and the whole synopsis, so I obviously downloaded it and read it. It's pretty short, you'll finish it in a few hours if not less. It's fun, entertaining, and veryyyy steamy.
So, basically the heroine doesn't know how he looks like until like nearly the end. He always wears either his bike helment or the ski mask he wears under it. Whenever they kiss they almost always do it with the lights off, because he has to take his ski mask off (the below part). But it really intrigues the heroine so much. SHE DEF LIKES IT!!!
I actually really loved that Devon is basically a golden retriever even though you don't really know his personality until he takes his mask off. I feel like he's very closed off or trying to be a bit more mysterious for her, so she doesn't get bored lmao. But when he finally shows her his real self and HIS FACE, he is soooo golden retriever coded. So I am not a girly who is into mask kink like quite a few of my friends on here. At least I didn’t think I was until I read this!! Because woah that was SPICY!!!! 5/5 spicy stars but overall the story was 3.5-4.
This was a new take on it though. We have Violet who works at a gas station during the graveyard shift where she gets a customer that comes in wearing his motorcycle helmet. She immediately becomes intrigued by how sexy he sounds and he also has a case of insta lust when it comes to Violet. He keeps coming back and they form a sort of situationship though he never takes off his helmet and she doesn’t even know his name.
We don’t find out this name until about 40% and Violet doesn’t find out what he looks like until about 70%. Between all that we get many spicy scenes of them doing all sorts of stuff!! I loved Devon! I liked how he was all in with wanting Violet and he had a slight obsession with her. He drove an hour just to see her at work only to see her for such a short amount of time.
Violet wasn’t my favorite. I liked her just fine but she had moments when she annoyed me! Also I wish they would have exchanged numbers a lot sooner. That doesn’t happen until after she sees him for the first time after 70%. I feel like some sexy texts would have gone a long way to make their relationship a little more of a relationship. They only saw each other when Devon decided to go visit her at work and that was maybe once a week!
It’s also very HFN. No love declarations were exchanged and though Devon was all in I still got the impression Violet wasn’t all the way there so I wish we could have seen them more in the future.
I NEED the secondary characters books!!! Need them!! I need Mari and Kas and Freya and Micah!!! This was released over a year ago and idk if we will get them but author I beg of you!!
Ohh also I LOVED the illustrations in this book! They were soo good and made the book more entertaining!!

2.5-3✨ This was an easy enough read, pretty quick at a little over 200 pages. But based on the cover and the blurb, idk, I expected this to be dirtier? Harder? Grittier? I’m not entirely sure of the best word I’m looking for.
I liked some parts more than others; personally I started to enjoy parts of the last quarter AFTER the face reveal, which seems almost backwards? I did enjoy the chemistry between the main characters, which is why I think I just kept looking for it to go deeper, for it to break the surface level.
Not to say that the spice in this would be considered “vanilla” by any means (whatever vanilla means to you, to me it means sex without much added kink).
Overall, for me this falls around 2.75✨ I guess, plus my sigh at what this could’ve been. In the words of Abby Lee Miller, you were good, but I was waiting for you to be great. Also - those illustrations? Straight fire. We need more illustrations in adult books😜

I never rate an erotica novel more than a one 😭 not because they are an erotica but because they are so dumb that they don't even make sense looking at unhinged and stuffed but this one was good I like that it fullfilled the masked trope till the very end and I just have a soft spot for a biker romance.

assim, sinceramente já não esperava muito desse livro no geral, porque não acabou me interessando muito por algumas coisas que eu vi, mas sei lá, achei fraco e meio irreal. achei genuinamente engraçado como a própria violet meio que se apaixonou por um cara mascarado que visitava o posto de gasolina em intervalos de alguns dias e ainda não querer ver o rosto dele, mesmo tendo mais do que uma oportunidade dada para decidir se gostaria de ver ou não.
eles são fofos, mas não passa muito disso. não achei ruim, mas definitivamente não é algo incrível. achei meio chato e sentia em alguns momentos que tudo acabava em sexo no final, além de nenhum dos dois personagens me cativarem em algum momento.
bom pra passar o tempo se você estiver disposto a ler algo meio medíocre. 2.5! 😉

Biketok fanfic. The erotic novella was not that erotic, for my taste it was giving vanilla. It’s obvious that the author is new her writing reminded me a lot of wattpad good old days, the tropes were amazing (i always needed a biker romance book) but she dragged me through unnecessary scenes and rushed the good ones!! Fun read regardless if you’re on Biketok ifykyk, + it has illustrations!!! Those were so cute.

you guys are liars!!! i feel betrayed!!! everyone was raving about this book, saying that if you like masked men and bikers, read it! well guess what bitches, i love masked men AND bikers, so what now?
Are we arguing or flirting?
the writing wasn't doing it for me. it felt more like a draft than a polished novella. it was still a bit of fun. however, miss cherry deserves jail time for writing biker dude as having long enough hair that Violet saw it peek out of his helmet, just to have him shave it a day later. WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT ABOUT?!?!

the writing wasn't doing it for me. it felt more like a draft than a polished novella. it was still a bit of fun. however, miss cherry deserves jail time for writing biker dude as having long enough hair that Violet saw it peek out of his helmet, just to have him shave it a day later. WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT ABOUT?!?!

I loved the suspense of Violet not knowing what Devon looked like, all the mask kink, and how he wanted her since their first meeting. And he's so hot that's a real man for me. Their smut was GREAT, his jealous scenes and the ones he defended her??? Pure gold.
I love that we got drawings in this, we need more books with drawings y'all, it made me so happy to read and picture it while knowing what the characters looked like. Amazing format and the readers will always enjoy some art.
Kas and Mari will be a couple and I'm so glad bc I hated Isaac and my girl deserves better. Hopefully she will get a novella too.
I liked this to pass the time, it's not a deep book or a beautiful romance, I read this for fun and entertainment and it delivered what I needed.
