A useful and humorously well-written book with detailed information and tips to deal with aerophobia. The biggest drawback is that the book is now almost 25 years old, and needs updating on technology and statistics - as well as new security measures since 9/11. Still, this is worth reading if you're trying to work thorugh a fear of flying, whether it be big or small.

Absolutely great; I'm a fearful flyer who is planning to fly from Vermont to California in November. This is the third book I've read about flying; fantastic - thank you Ms. Ridley! Is there a second edition since 9/11??
