First of all Neymar Jr is my favorite soccer (football) player ever, so it made reading this book really fun. It tells about Neymar (Neymar Jr's dad) and his soccer days. Then about how Neymar Jr went from Santos to Barcelona the worlds biggest team. I learned alot of things I didn't know about Neymar. Like when he was little his family got in a car crash which caused his dad to not play as good. This book also talks a lot about Brazilian soccer history. How they mix dance with playing, whch is why Brazilians are known for their skills on the ball. All this is why I rate it 5/5.

Over the last few weeks, I have been reading Neymar: The Making of the World's Greatest New Number 10. I chose this book since I am a huge Paris Saint Germain fan, and wanted to learn more about Neymar. Neymar, the subject of this book was a huge inspiration to me, throughout my life. Not only is he a great soccer player, but a great person overall. To me, I think that the descriptions by the GM of PSG, Thomas Tuchel, who offered great insight on what was really happening throughout Neymar’s career. Coming from a die hard fan, I never really realized the role Neymar has played in both Paris and Barcelona, in the locker room. Tuchel’s descriptions gave great insight to this. I would recommend this book to any Paris Saint Germain fan.

Neymar: The Making of the World’s Greatest New Number 10 is pure fan joy! This book took me right back to the time when I was a huge Neymar fan those early days when his skills, confidence, and flair on the field felt unreal.

It beautifully captures his journey from Brazil to global stardom, showing the hard work, pressure, and passion behind the magic we saw on the pitch. Reading about his rise made me smile, reminisce, and honestly feel proud of how far he came.

A must-read for anyone who loved Neymar during his peak era or anyone who once screamed at the TV cheering for him (guilty 😅⚽).

Neymar is one of my favourite players in the whole of football because if we didn't have players like him people wouldn't watch football because they would get bored. He brings excitement and mind-blowing skills to the game which makes it that much more enjoyable to watch.
Neymar tells us in the book on how he grew up in Brazil surrounded by soccer. Soccer was like a religion to Neymar's family. They would use it like an energy drink to keep going in life.
Neymar also pays his respects to the people that helped to where he is now.

The book to me wasn't as inspirational as Messi's biography but still was a great book.
