It was an OK book. The main argument is that you should draw the effect of the detail rather than the detail itself.

Tips and tricks include varying the thickness of your lines depending on how far/close the edges are from you, drawing confident rather than accurate but shaky lines, or accounting for the highlights and shadows falling across an object in your composition. Interesting information to keep in mind if you've already done a little bit of sketching before.

while some of this stuff seems pretty useful, this book quite quickly starts to feel like this meme „how to draw a horse”, where first step is drawing a circle, and the second is drawing the rest of the horse.

also, pretty bold assumption that every reader of this book will know how 3d mesh looks like.

All the information was presented clearly and to the point with loads of examples. Very good book about the specific techniques used in industrial sketching.
