The Object of this volume is to report on the technical presentations & technical contributions of a one-day International Symposium on Fundamentals of Discrete-Time Systems held at the Westin Hotel in Chicago, IL on June 27, 1992 in honor of Eli Jury. At the Symposium, an impressive turnout of control engineers and scientists came to pay its respects to Eli. Participants came from various parts of the globe including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom & the U.S.A. A broad range of topics were covered in this Symposium. Most topics were related, in one way or the other, to the works of Eli Jury. The contents of this book have been categorized into four 1.
