I mean!!! You had me at Former Navy SEAL!! Because that’s just hot in itself!!! 🥵 and I was so happy to have a story about the infamous Woody!

Woody is a sarcastic crazy flirt & he loves to banter back and forth! He is also SEXY!! Can we say sexy again?!

Taz is a veteran and ended up with a prosthetic leg, which has caused her to not have much of a love life lately. But that doesn’t stop Woody. He was front and center & full of fun one night…Until he wasn’t! And he leaves her high and dry the next morning with not one ounce of communication, for a whole year. Until there paths cross again on a mission they end up in together, undercover, as a fake married couple!!! Eek… this is where things get reallll good!!!

I mean, when you are in a forced proximity, fake relationship and know you have had some spicy spice between the 2… things are bound to happen, eventually?$ right!! 😉

I don’t want to give too much away but this was an incredible read!

Spice was on point, banter was out of control with all the laughter. The characters were written so well! Great story & great twist!!

Woody and Taz!!!! Excuse my while I go ring out my undergarments 🥵 Gosh I loved them so much! From the action to the banter and the FREKIN SPICE! I loved every word of this book! Tazanna Birdsong is one bad ass chick! I am not going to ruin her story because you absolutely have to read it for yourself, she is just everything confidence, sass, beauty and badassness. And Woody dear Jesus I want to climb that man like a stripper pole in a night club! And the way he treats Taz with everything love, care, respect, tenderness and he is dominant and sexy at all the best times! **fanning self just thinking about it** the relationship was beautiful, it was laugh out loud funny, it was total bad ass couple vibes they are such strong soldiers that are kick ass at there jobs and match each other like peanut butter to jelly. This is an absolute must read! And if you haven’t started The Fierce Protectors Series GOSH! your missing out!

This book was fantastic. Fantastic characters. Very steamy. Jade is one of my absolute favorite authors. I started her series way back with Shark’s sister then Sharks story and as each book came out I loved the characters more and more. I absolutely loved this book! Woody and Taz are just perfect for each other!

Taz is such a strong, independent, and sassy woman who has been through so much and still protects others. Then there’s Woody, not only a very hot male but also so understanding, caring, and loving!

I did get angry with Woody at the beginning for the way he treated Taz…. But let’s just say nothing is as it seems. Oh and as for who was behind the threats I had a suspicion who it might be but that ending! Even though I suspected it I was still shocked!

Loved the scenes with the guys! They made me laugh so hard! And Gram is the best character ever!

Highly recommend reading! This story and every book in this series is absolute perfection! I laughed, cried, and got so angry but it was 100% worth it! Can’t wait for the next book!

Also need a book about Marco like now!

Ohi vey! Woody and Taz, first can I say that anything this crazy lady writes I am reading it, no questions asked and each book just gets better and better and better.
So we know who Taz and Woody are , all the snark and bite we see them having in the previous book , well now we know why.
Damm it talk about instant chemistry!!! That's how these two started. It was such fun reading this beaut. The sass , Ball busting comedy these two have in the beginning is such a pleasure to read. And ofcourse everything is not how it goes and we are back to the said snark and hate!!
This story which honestly I fell in love with more and more as I read is just amazing. That said banter ah, I have seriously laughed out loudly while reading, and it was so worth disturbing my family with it.
Cut to these two go undercover for our beautiful Ella, and well. Let's just say read this and see how everything goes!
This man, ah i love him. I say that about all these guys but they are that amazing!! This whole series is just top tier!
Go ahead and pick up this book for all the laughs and all the feels!!

Mario aka Woody is very much the troublemaker in the group of guys and a huge flirt. Throughout the whole series, his banter has been my favorite. Tazanna (age 27) is a war veteran with a prosthetic leg. She is a beautiful person inside and out but since her accident she hasn't had a lot of man companionship

At someone's wedding ( not giving names), they cross paths in more ways then one. It was good multiple times that night until Woody hears something completely out of surprise. Leaves her in bed, no note, no communication until the next time they are at work.

WOW! it was icy once they finally saw each other again a few days later. Fast forward a year later, and they go undercover for a job in Cali (time frame-unknown).

This book needs to be read in one sitting, you will not complete anything at all because its so good. The suspense, the side characters, everything about this book is phenomenal.

“I honestly don’t know who I love more, Taz or Woody. Both of them were so perfect. Their chemistry was amazing, you really felt the love between them from the start, no matter how stubborn they both were. Taz has such a huge heart but has been through so much, seeing her open up with woody melted my heart. And how woody was with her, just so understanding, loving, caring, knowing exactly what she needed when she needed it. Ugh I swear I wanted to cry so many times. And I love how the guys except her into their group like it’s nothing. I love to read a woman having male friends who don’t always have an agenda, and see her as a friend or sister who they love and protect. 100/10 definitely recommend!!”

I am completely addicted to this series and Disgruntled Protector just feeds that addiction. Taz and Woody are absolutely sublime! The chemistry those two are throwing out there is 🔥 They are so incredibly sweet to each other and then turn around and the amazing banter starts. I loved everything about it. The laughs had me getting funny looks at work as I'm laughing in my office (on lunch obviously, I swear I actually work at work 😇). This is over the top five 🌟 Mario may as well be the new word for hot as f*čķ cause that spice was 👏amazing! I need more!! Thankfully there are more boys just waiting for their turn.

So excited to be back with this series! These men are sooooo damn captivating. Been waiting for my man Woody’s Story and Jade did not disappoint. Each book keeps getting better and better. The perfect combination of laughter, spice, intensity, romance and in this book, we got the twists that leaves us shocked. Just an amazing read overall. 🥰

Tazanna! My lord! I just love her. She is strong and badass. Even though going though one of the most traumatic events in her life, she still has her head up high and definitely uses jokes (instead of moping about it as she would say) to talk about her injury.

We got these two going undercover as a “married couple” after almost a year of basically of hating each other over a night out ending in miscommunication.
As the days and weeks passed by on the job, the intensity grew between them. They open up more and more to each other and start building that trust and we start seeing the sparks fly oh so high.
I love seeing the other characters from previous books, it just makes this even better.
Bring on Bode! I’m ready! 👏🏼

Mario and Taz are hot, hot, HOT! On my lanta these two. When I say it starts off with the spice, I mean like page two lol.
I loved them together, they worked so well. The banter they had with one another was so great. Gotta say it had me giggle throughout the whole book.

The suspense was top notch as well. Kept giving you little tastes to keep you hooked and needing to know all the answers!

The only thing I will say was to me it seemed a little rushed at the end. Maybe that was because all the suspense happened at once at the end. But I loved their ending they had. And the way Mario asked Taz that one special question was so them, I loved that so much!!

I have absolutely loved this book!

Taz is such a strong, independent and sassy woman, who has been through so much and still protects others...

Woody is not only one hot male, he's understanding, caring and so loving. My favourite of the Protector series.

Absolutely loved this one, although I got so angry with Wood because of his attitude towards Taz in the beginning.... Nothing is as it seems!!

I did have a shock on who was responsible for the threats... oh my you are not going to expect this one!

I would definitely recommend this amazing story to everyone! The spice is so good, the story is amazing I've laughed, cried and got so angry at times but it's oh so worth it! Loving the appearances of characters from the previous books in the series!

A definite MUST read!

Oh sweet Lordy I loved this book not only did I adore these character but the story had me held tight right to the end.Taz and Woodys story is love after a huge miscommunication and boy did I wanna slap woody in his dumb butt face.
but that hiccup created a fantastic story of love, self worth and dirty dirty Latin talk seriously new kink unlocked.

I have adored all the books in this series and honestly jade's writing just keeps improving and these character keep giving the best love stories.

The struggle is real to find words for how much I loved Woody & Taz. One steamy night, a morning after miscommunication and 11 tortured months lead to a perfect romance. If you love a story filled to the brim with steam, angst, tension, groveling, nurturing & love this is a must read!

Taz was wounded during her service and just wanted someone to make her feel whole again. Woody didn’t understand her joking coping mechanism so it took him longer than it should’ve to see the real her. But once he worked it out and realized his huge error he was all in no matter what he had to do. Operation steal Taz’s heart is a go!

Jade is back with another installment of the Fierce Protector series
This time we get a closer glimpse into Woody and Taz, and man are these two FIRE.

I loved that it wasn't a typical romance story, you know the ones, but this one Woody definitely put his foot in it and had to work to get back out. I love that Taz is an amputee so she already has her own past that she has to work through it with her eye rolling humour.

You will definitely have the gamut of emotions to go through with this book, but it will be worth every page turn.

Okay, let’s talk about this brilliant book. Is it fun? Yes. Is it emotional? Yes. Is it deep? Yes. Is it sexy? HELL yes!

Once again, Her Brilliancy has created a masterpiece for us. We have strong, smoldering Woody (Mario) who we love but are equally frustrated with at times. Then we have amazing Taz, a war amputee. She’s everything. She’s tough, smart, talented, and witty, yet emotionally damaged by her wounds. 

My favorite thing is that he never makes her feel like any less of a woman despite not having a leg. Even when he is (foolishly) angry with her, he always respects her. In fact, he often places her on a pedestal to his own detriment. Isn’t that the mark of a real man? And Woody is ALL man, if you know what I mean. And his dirty talk...

We ALWAYS get fantastic banter with Jade’s writing, and this book didn’t let us down. Whether Woody and Taz were enemies or lovers, their fun banter never stopped. It’s one of my favorite things about Jade’s writing. She must be REALLY funny IRL because all of her books are pee-in-pants-level laughter for me. I wish I could hang out with her.

I don’t play favorites because each book in this series is incredible in its own right. Of course we’ve been teased a bit with Bode’s upcoming story. How many more minutes until that one drops?

The humorous dialogue back and forth between these two is worth it! Laughed out loud! After you get through the messy beginning that Woody/Mario and Tazanna/Anna experienced (c'mon, a year, really?) the author took her time getting these two together emotionally and physically (after they were forced together), and that added to my enjoyment. A man seemed to actually respect a woman--a woman damaged in so many ways--but only after figuring out what a jackahole he was to begin with and admitting he was wrong. I fought the urge to have to flip through page after page of repetitive "do I really want to do this or not" intimacy that became truly more intimate than sexual by the end of the book. Read this book if for no other reason that to hear Mario moan to Anna in Spanish and to say the words "my little poptart" in your head in a deep baritone voice. Easy 5 stars! (It's listed as a standalone, and it is because the author gives just enough background about the supporting characters; but read the series...).

I'm so happy to be back in one of my favourite worlds! Jade's characters got me through such a hard time, and returning for Woody and Taz's book brought me so much joy. This book has everything, tension, angst, a blackmail plot, fake marriage, only one bed and he falls first and fucking hard. Taz is my hero. I love her tenacity and that she never lets anything hold her back. I personally relate so hard to her stubbenness and inability to ask for help. She slowly lets down her walls and opens her heart to the one person who knows her inside and out. A man who knows your favourite wine is a keeper, btw. Woody is the sexy sweetheart. He's dirty and hot but has a heart of gold and is obsessed with our girl as he should be. "My wife" is frequently used throughout as a cherry on top, which is one of my personal favs, and the reveal at the end had me so excited for the next book I can't wait! This book is another masterpiece

With their undercover job it’s a long and winding road for Taz to trust Woody and I fell in love right along with them. They are so well matched with their sharpshooter skills and how they try to beat each other. Truly LOL’d with the group chat and how they tease each other.

Steamy scene right from the start. And an interesting take on hair protein 🥵

That ending! Can’t wait for Bode’s book 🤯

Holly cow! This was hot! This was the first Jade Dollston book I’ve read so I actually started in the middle of the series, but it didn’t matter and it won’t be the last! I read this in just a matter of hours and honestly I haven’t had a book in a while that kept so engaged that I didn’t realize I was almost done till I was almost done! I found myself laughing, I cried, I cringed, I felt mad, and I fell in love a bit! I loved that Taz had flaws but was so incredibly strong and so sassy and fiery and that Woody was all tough man yet sensitive and caring. These were just lovable characters and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the series looks like!

i love this series

I loved every second of this book! This whole series is sooo good! Taz/Anna and Woody/Marie are a fun power couple! Even better that they are both ex military so they have a better understanding each other’s past. The twist of who the perp in the end is 😱
