When I first started this book, I was a bit intrigued but also a little apprehensive. I picked it up to explore a new religious perspective, and it definitely delivered. The book dives into the idea that family curses are caused by demonic interference in our DNA, and that Christ’s Melchizedek priesthood offers the path to break them.
The author walks you through his interpretation of scripture with strong conviction, grounding his claims in canonical Bible verses. I appreciated that approach—it kept the discussion within the framework of Christian theology, which was important to me on the topic of Christianity.
That said, I did feel some discomfort with the “glorification” tone at times. The idea of “using God” to elevate our earthly lives can veer into murky territory, and some may see it as missing the deeper point of humility in faith. Still, Myles offers an interesting critique of how Christians may unintentionally misuse blessings by breaking the spiritual alignment needed to receive them. That perspective made sense to me—especially when considering how walking in Christ’s path, through love and self-discipline, can naturally lead to a more fruitful life.
It may not click with non-Christian faiths. Pair it with epigenetics or interfaith readings for balance. Myles’ perspectives spark reflection, making it a solid read for spiritual warfare fans.
