Standing over six feet tall, USA Today bestselling author Jonathan Moeller has the piercing blue eyes of a Conan of Cimmeria, the bronze-colored hair of a Visigothic warrior-king, and the stern visage of a captain of men, none of which are useful in his career as a computer repairman, alas.
He has written the DEMONSOULED series of sword-and-sorcery novels, and continues to write THE GHOSTS sequence about assassin and spy Caina Amalas, the COMPUTER BEGINNER'S GUIDE series of computer books, and numerous other works. His books have sold over one million copies worldwide.
Halfan's POV makes for an interesting change in perspective, and we finally get the story of how he came to join the Ghosts. Another good short story fans of the series shouldn't miss.
A very short story written from Halfdan’s point of view, to be honest not a great deal happened, but it was an OK interlude between the book 6 and 7 of the Ghost series.
Short story told from Halfdan's POV. He and Caina are masquerading as a jewel merchant and his daughter and traveling in a caravan. A man is killed supposedly by a lion but Hafdan and Caina know better. Their inquiries make them targets for assassination. The perpetrator and motive are discovered by them. Problem solved.
