Not bad - probably plays better live on stage than it does on the page. Unclear upon first reading what the overall themes are. I like the structure, and the characters moving in and out the retelling, but the silliness seemed to distract, for some reason. As did the numerous typos.
Going to read it again now, and see if it improves.
It’s a very easy to read play and very enjoyable. The script is excellent. The reason for giving it four stars is because there are quite a few typos and errors that drove me crazy (eg. “cumbaya” instead of “kumbaya,” “to” instead of “too,” “quite” instead of “quiet,” etc.
Interesting read. I didn't have any expectations but I found the ending to be surprisingly pleasant. I don't want to ruin the ending but I ended up enjoying this little story. I thought it was very cute.
A fun read! Makes little sense at times, but thats the beauty of it. Great characters, didn't become boring and had some darker moments too. Worth a read.
Great monologues, but overall, this play was a bit disappointing. I liked how the playwright used the quality of the theater in a different way than most plays do. However, parts of the story itself completely threw me off. On top of that, the typographical errors and font they used for the back cover just made it worse. Unfortunately, I wouldn't read this again.
