It was a nice little story. I did not get the feeling that the happily ever after was real. You can still be a Christian and go to therapy. God sent all those little psychologists through school for them to learn some stuff. Also, all the whining and deep pain about her childless status was too much for me. Therapy would have fixed that

The book began with gusto and never let up. It brought good questions/concerns/possible problems about remarrying an ex-husband and what would be a step-child. It also deals with examining past attitudes and actions of the characters, coming to grips with truth about themselves, and learning to trust God.

I really didn't like this book. I didn't like either character. I thought they were both annoying and immature. I really didn't like anything about Patrick and Christine's relationship either, past or present.

I was not the target demographic for this book. It took me two weeks to finish. A good story. Just not my cup of tea. I'm too young for the divorced couple trying to get back together story line.
