As Shane continues to try and reign in Arianna, he is finding his wife to be has a listening problem. Not only that she has a flair for killing people, his beautiful woman is a full blooded assassin. Like a strategic chess game, Shane has to use his wits to get Arianna to let him take care of her and their now baby to be. However she was crazy before she was pregnant, now he is not sure what to do with her.
Love, love, love this series. Anxiously waiting the next.

This is the third book in the Spitfire Series by Jordan Silver. I don’t know why it took me so long to read this series but I’m glad I finally did.
Shane Flanagan is 26 years old and he’s taken over his grandfather’s criminal empire. Shane’s father chose to dedicate his life to medicine instead of crime.
Arianna Rossi is the daughter of the biggest mafia leader in Chicago. She watched as her beloved mother was beheaded in front of her when she was three years old. She’ll never stop killing until she avenges her mom’s death.
Arianna has been living in Shane’s town for months and he had no idea who she was. She was there trying to track down the men who killed her father.
Shane falls for Arianna but he’s not happy with her killing people so he tries to make her stay home.

"I have no idea of what you speak." Her lying ass kept a straight face as she looked me dead in the eye and spewed that shit.
"And where pray tell are you going Giuseppe?"
"I gotta see a guy about something."

"Well, seeing as you only have one working brain cell I think you might be a danger to yourself and others.”
"The others are coming up you ready?" "Yep, I got cash, cards and my glock." "Your...? Mouth give me the gun." "No way are you bent, I never go anywhere without my backup." "What the bow and arrow won't fit in your bag? You won't be needing it, your detail will have you covered."
"Uh huh, so why don't you go without yours?" I think I had enough time to strangle her before the others got here, just barely but I could do it. "Where's my sh*t Mouth?" She shrugged at me and ran, when I caught her laughing a*s in the living room and snatched her purse she had my sh*t and half an apartment in there. Women.
“You're an assassin aren't you?" There's no way you can cloister that, it's inside of her, I saw it with my own eyes. No matter how much she claims she never wanted to be a part of this life, it was as much a part of her, as it was I.
“Are you.........an assassin?"
"Dad thought I should know all the ways to protect myself, there was always someone after us so from the age of five I've been trained in most hand-to-hand combat starting with Tae kwon do. I know most of the Eastern arts, I can dismantle and put a gun back together in under a minute and a half but I'm still working on that. My specialty is the bow and arrow; I started taking archery classes when I was about eight or nine.
Her first kill was at fifteen; one of her father’s enemies sent one of his goons after her. He tried to get her at school. She broke his neck with her bare hands then got sick all over him, dad and uncle Al came as soon as I called them with the cleaner. She made a promise, only to kill to protect. There’s something inside her that whenever one of her loved ones are in danger, she withdraws inside her head. I wonder if she realized she'd just described a stone cold killer? The zone she was trying to describe, that place she went to in her head, the kill zone. And it was my job to tame that sh*t, f-k my life, I'd rather take on the those who were out to get me than try to keep this one chained. She looked so innocent too, barely reaching his chin, but what he’d seen last night, if he wasn't getting out of the business he’d hire her. I wasn't telling her that...she was a handful already no sense in encouraging her murdering a*s. She’s a silent killer, combined they’re a match made in mafia heaven. One thing was for damn sure, I had to hurry up and get my sh*t together before mouth killed off half the f-ing city.
The empty box flying at my head should've been a total turnoff, but the fire breathing dragon that screeched at me, “Flanagan you knocked me up you dick” was too delightful to resist.
"Gotcha”.
He has a pregnant vigilante on his hands, nothing will deter her because it’s near impossible; she’s avenging her mother’s death.

So, he claims to love her but all he wants to do is change her entire being. Making her the exact opposite person she is. Why? Is she forcing him to change? I hate when strong independent women are being forced to be what their not. Don't get me wrong, I like like alpha men, just loathe when they manipulate and force their ways like this. Why does she allow it?? For love, bleh. Ruins a series for me completely!!!

This series is soooo good
I love this series and cannot wait for more of Ari and hope that we get to see her more in action. I so love how she's strong, independent, witty and sassy, kickass women and never listens to Shane and does everything she can to drive him crazy and loves every minute of it.

I love love love this series and can't wait for book four!!!! I'm ROFLMFAO at the dialogue between Shane and Mouth, and all the secondary characters are awesome!!

Fantastic Series
I agree with other reviews, this series should be made I to a movie. I laughed so much people thought something was wrong with. Love scenes are hot and steamy. I love the way Shane loves Mouth. Mouth is a great alpha female. Jordan Silver I salute you.

In this next series we learn a little bit of what drives Arianna to be the way. She is strong, independent, sassy, kick ass woman and loves to drive Shane crazy. Some would never take the time to deal with this type of woman. Shane's so in love with this woman he will do anything for her. All he wants is for her just to stay way from all this type of business and protect her, which he believed with child would help. (Not with mouth) Arianna's thinking is to protect everyone she loves and cares for. Shane is her everything, her love. Absolutely, recommend whole series. Jordan silver is a wonderful writer. Her books never disappoint. I highly recommend reading any of her books. Especially this one.

This is the third book in the series and Shane is finally getting a true picture about Mouth and everything she has had to overcome to deal with her character. It is an action-packed drama that only gets better and zi can't wait for the next book to see how it all ends.

SHANE and ARIANNA
Shane is trying really hard to control Arianna, to save her life, and it is not working. He will use whatever he can to control her. Mouth was crazy before and now with her being pregnant, he is running cold with her life being in danger all the time.
Somebody's always making a play for me; I'm the hottest bargaining chip in the underworld. Why do you think I do what I do?"
Shane’s reaction to seeing her in remote danger and tehn her skills, is honestly the best part of this book.
“They didn't see the little girl who just wanted normal, they applauded your achievements without realizing that you were just doing what you thought was expected, well now I'm telling you, you don't have to do that shit anymore because I've got you.”
He thinks getting her pregnant will slow her down and stop her from her mission, but Arianna is an assassin, and one that most likely cannot stop killing, due to phycological reasons.
Mouth cannot and will not let even the slightest danger, or even inconvenience touch Shane. It will be eliminated no matter what.
Her attitude, her mission, is not just a revenge-mob war thing, but far deeper than that, and it seems that a war would be inevitable, with Mouth being at the center of it.
The reasons for her being the way she is disheartening.
Knowing she is not just being difficult, but her actions are a compulsion to past trauma is hard to read, and leaves you anticipating more.
The way Shane manipulates her into things is hilarious. Its like playing with a live wire, hoping to not get shorted.
The circus of their families is way too funny and the dialogues are just sarcasm and wit all the time, and I love it!

Shane and Ari's story continues with Beautiful Assassin. In part three, you really get to know a little more of what drives Arianna to be the way she is. She is a very messed up individual, and some men would never want to take the time to help heal someone so broken. But not Shane. That man is not just man-candy, his love runs deep for his woman. There's nothing he wouldn't do to protect Ari, but she doesn't make it easy for him.
He begins to see that she is NOT just being rebellious toward him when she does things he tells her not to do. But he sees that she is being driven to do it, from some things that happened in her past. You can really feel his pain, as it breaks his heart when he sees how she's been changed from the sweet teenager she should be, to this hardened, foul-mouthed woman that she is now. His sadness over it is really evident when he realizes that there may be no way to save her from her destructive path. All he can do is help her finish her revenge, at least that way he can protect her.
I love how Jordan lets us see that deep down, buried under years and years of scars over what Ari endured as a child, that there is a soft, sweet girl that wants to come out when she's with Shane. I hope we get more glimpses of that girl in the next one. Shane deserves some soft cuddling from his girl, along with the sassy, smart-a$$iness. I know. Smart-a$$iness is not a word.
I also love that when you read anything Jordan Silver, you can always rely on this:

So in this third story of Shane (“mob boy”) and Ari (“the assassin”), you learn what really makes each character tick - especially Ari. Their meeting was not a coincidence, but prearranged by the mob elders in their lives. However, as Shane slowly begins to see what makes Mouth who she is, it takes all of them to battle the demons in her head and keep her safe (even from herself). While this story is much more in depth than the previous two installments, it is still hilariously funny and hot! I love how the relationship deepens with each story and their love for each other grows. Also, the psychological warfare they play on each other is a hoot! Now - bring on Chicago!

I was recently introduced to this author by my daughter and best friend and this was the series they told me to start with. From page 1 I was hooked and didn't want to stop which was a problem as I was on holiday.
This book is refreshing and fantastic and I've downloaded all her books now to read through. I don't have a lot of time in my day and they've got me hooked on some other authors too so I'll be juggling books and having many late nights and extended lunch breaks I think.
It's funny, it's romantic, there's suspense, drama and it's so different to anything I've ever read and I'm thankful for that. Love it

In this book, we get to know more about Arianna's past and what basically made her into the mouth; sadly, the truth was heartbreaking. But Shane never gives up on his woman and as we all know he has no intention of letting her go especially with the new surprise in their life. This book was longer then the previous two and I enjoyed the flow and action of the story. The book still needs some editing since there are still misspelled or missing words.

This series was amazing. I love to read it over and over again and it still cracks me up with the stuff that comes out of Aris mouth...lol...so when if the 4th BOOK coming should have been out by now.. I am desperately waiting for it..please hurry!!!!

I can't say enough about these books. From book one thru three it has been a wonderful ride of love, lust and funny mobster names lol. I can't wait for book 4.
