Wanting to be a part of mankind, the angel fell--losing his halo, the prize that held his earthbound soul. Now Cooper must retrieve it. But wherever the Fallen walk, a Sinistari demon intent on slaying one is not far behind. Cooper knows he must be wary of this demon. But his first encounter with her leaves him curiously hungering for more....To reclaim her own soul, Pyxion must kill an angel. Not just "any" angel, but one who's fallen to earth and taken on an irresistible, seductive human form. She never expected that she would feel an attraction for the man she hunted--or that she might need his help. When faced with a powerful mutual threat, she and Cooper form an alliance. But as the danger heightens, so does the passion...and if they give in, all could be lost.

Michele has been writing romance, action-adventure and fantasy stories for over twenty years. Her first published novel was DARK RAPTURE.

France, musketeers, vampires and faeries populate her stories. And if she followed the adage 'write what you know', all her stories would have snow in them. Fortunately, she steps beyond her comfort zone and writes about countries she has never visited and of creatures she has never seen.

Michele also writes as Michele Renae, and you can find her erotica, chick lit, and Harlequin Romance titles at your favorite online retailer.

Cooper Truhart is in actuality Juphiel, a fallen angel whose sole purpose id to find his human muse and impregnate her with his monster Nephilim offspring. He figures he will forgo that dubious pleasure and just lay back and chill for a bit. Pyxion is a Sinistari demon, her sole purpose is to hunt and kill the Fallen before a Nephilim is concieved.
I was very conflicted by this book. There is no clear cut good and bad guy in this story. Well, there is but I'm not quite ready to get struck down and smited just yet, so I'm not even going to go there. Cooper, bless his little hunky heart, just wants to find his halo, reclaim his soul and live a mortal life on the earth realm. He has a very warm, and humorous side. When Pyx and Cooper first meet up in Paris, Cooper is on a dance floor in the midst of a gaggle of babes getting his freak on, in a kilt and combat boots no less. Pyx, who is still confused because she thought she was a male until the tattoo guy hit on her, is all fired up to carve Cooper's heart right out of his chest. Their relationship or battle, if you will, is hilarious. It reads really quickly and the situation changes from page to page. It will definitely hold your interest. Quite a unique take and I guess I'll start picking up the Harlequins again. Who'd a thunk it?

I realize now this a part of a series, but it worked as a stand alone pretty well.

Pros: I thought it was pretty decently written, had a good plot, lots of action.

Cons: I never understood why these two didn't just kill each other and move on. I never felt the chemistry.

Hauf is definitely keeping my interest level high with this series. The plot and selected H/h for Fallen was unexpected, but delightful: I appreciate that in Fallen, Hauf challenged herself (and her readers) by not retracing the fallen(angel)-seeking-his-muse as the main plotline that she already introduced in Angel Slayer (Book 1). This angel/muse thing appears to be the series core plot, but by deftly adjusting perspective and character focus in each new entry, Hauf keeps it exciting (at least for me). I could tell from reading book 1 that the potential for more inter-species matchups could get very interesting in her angel/demon universe (with vamps, halo hunters and muses swirled in for spice - heh heh.) Hauf did not disappoint with Fallen. I don't want to spoil it for anyone - the HEA wasn't spectacular, but certainly very satisfying after everything the H/h had been through in the story. Would that all conflicts ended in happy marriages (whoops - does that qualify as a spoiler? My bad.)

This book was fantastic! I couldn't put it down. This was my first Michele Hauf Book and it will definitely not be my last as of matter fact I am currently reading another of her books from this same series and I am zooming through it also. I missed the third book but I will catch up.

I love paranormal stories, but since there are so many out there, this caughtmy eye. I love everything about angels. I am intrigued with the Angel and Demons genre.

Michele definitely made a wonderful creation with the storyline,A grand Hit!
I love how she combined all the supernatural beings: siniastri demons, fallen angels, muses, slayers - mixed with love, lust, destruction, mystery and intrigue all together.

Brilliant!!!!!

Michele---Keep them coming> Another thing--

I just love the matching sigils, and how the muses are "itching for a scratch" when their angels are near, so sexy but deadly!

The angel fell losing his halo because he wanted to be a part of mankind. He also lost his soul. Now it's up to Cooper to retrieve it. But when the Fallen are around, a Sinistari demon is close behind with nothing but slaying on their mind. Cooper knows he must be cautious where the demon is concerned but his first encounter with her leaves him wanting more. To reclaim her own soul, Pyxion must kill an angel, specifically one that has recently fallen to earth. She never expected that she would find attraction for the man she hunted or that she might one day need his help. When faced with a powerful threat, she and Cooper are forced to form an alliance. As danger hurtles toward them so does passion--and if they give in all could well be lost forever. Second book in the Angels and Demons series.

Unlikely couple, a Fallen Angel Cooper falls in love with a Fallen Angel turned Sinistari Demon Pyx. They were at odds until Cooper and Pyx start to get along and hoping they can use each other to get that they desired the most- being mortal- but long the way they started to have real feelings towards each other and then when Cooper is captured by the vamps that summoned him from the Ninth Void to impregnated his muse with a murderous child is when we really see the love the Pyx shows towards Cooper. I can wait to read the third book on the Angels & Demons saga, if it is like this one and also book one, it will be worth the read.

I really liked this book. I bought this after reading "Her vampire husband" . Although I enjoyed both this is definitely the better of the two.

Really strong visuals and great characters. I wish I could really see Cooper's wings.
