"The" DELANCEY BROTHERSThree very different brothers. Three very different lives. One great opportunity
Shea Delancey knows what he wants for Christmas
A year earlier, Shea and Samantha Haskell had marriage in mind. But when his restaurant failed, pride compelled him to refuse her offer of money and to shelve their relationship until he was on his feet financially. Now Samantha has money troubles. Samantha and her baby boy--"Shea's son!"
Shea is determined to help Samantha and the child he didn't even know he had. But, ironically, she's as unwilling to accept his aid has he was hers.
If he could get her to spend Christmas with the warm and caring Delancey clan, maybe he could wear down her resistance.
First, though, Shea has to "get" then two of them to Oregon. And once he realizes how much he still loves Samantha, he has to figure out a way to "keep" them there.
Wealthy socialite (Samantha) meets out of work chef (Shea). They planned to be married and then his restaurant fails. Too proud to take money from Sam, Shea leaves the west coast and heads back east to his remarkable nuclear family. He decides to go back to the west coast to see Sam, who has her own misfortunes. Her father's business was wiped out along with her job and security. However, Sam introduces Shea to his son. Say what? Total surprise. Now Sam is penniless and Shea is a top chef with a national reputation. Sam reluctantly agrees to spend Christmas back east but only until January first when she heads back west. The goal is to let his crazy family wear her down. Lots of surprises for everyone. "I'm the luckiest man on earth", says Shea. "How fortunate for you, to have the luckiest woman and child. Merry Christmas" says Sam.
