Conway Cash is finally ready to settle down, and he has the perfect woman in his sights. The only thing is, he's dead set against being a father--and Isi Lopez has twin four-year-old boys. When he finds himself roped into babysitting for them, life starts getting complicated!
Kids or no, Conway soon discovers he and Isi make a great couple. And hanging around with her kids isn't so bad--that is, until they beg him to be their new daddy. The pressure is piling up for this formerly footloose cowboy...but with some luck, and a whole lot of Christmas spirit, Conway just may find himself in the center of his own ready-made family!

"Because when I block out the past, I'm less frightened about the future."
Her honesty caught Conway by surprise. He'd never pictured Isi as a woman intimidated by anything. "Tell me. Please." 31%
I had a lot of problems with this book.
SUMMARY
Conway Twitty is rabid about not being a father. He only wants to date women who do not have kids and never want to have kids. He's terrified of being a father and very against it.
Isi (Isadora) is a waitress he flirted with and kissed until he found out she was the single mother to twin boys. Then he cut it off. But they remained 'friends,' although it's a very one-sided friendship. She listens to him talk about his life and his problems. He jokingly calls her 'his therapist.' He shows no interest in her life or problems and doesn't even know basic shit about her.
When Isi gets punched in the face by a woman Conway Twitty was dating, that series of events leads to Conway Twitty agreeing to take care of her boys for a week.
ANALYSIS
THE BAD
You know we are going to have major problems in this book from the beginning. Here is the opening paragraph:
Conway Twitty had only one rule when it came to women - never date one with kids. Period. No exceptions. Not even if the woman sent text photos of her hooters. 2%
I don't know why on Earth Thomas would choose to open her book this way. It makes readers - well, this reader - disgusted and turned-off.
Things don't get better, as Conway Twitty keeps referring to women's "voluptuous tatas" and etc.
It's gross.
Another problem is that I don't like the hero. Not just because of his skeeviness, which is problematic.
So,
1.) Skeeviness.
2.) He's been friends with Isi for two years and doesn't even know the most basic things about her. Like her family history. She apparently told him that she had no family, but he didn't give a fuck so he didn't retain any information.
"I told you a long time ago that I don't have any family. It's just me and the boys."
Really? He couldn't recall Isi talking about her family. He was always wrapped up in his dating dilemmas and the information had probably gone in one ear and out the other. 8%
Oh, yeah, he's a real catch. /s I feel like he's only listening to her now because he's thinking about fucking her.
He doesn't even know she's Argentinian! They've been "friends" for two years and he's thought she was Mexican all this time!!!
She rolled her eyes. "One of the first things I learned coming to the Unites [sic] States was that most people assume anyone who speaks Spanish is from Mexico." 31%
I mean, the level of NOT CARING is insane.
"Watch the shoes, amigos." Conway's black Dodge was only a year old - he didn't even allow his dates to put on their makeup in his truck. 10%
He says shit like this:
"I don't know, Conway. They could be more of a hindrance than a help. I have to nag them to do their chores."
"Farming isn't sissy work like making beds or washing dishes."
"Sissy work?" Isi struggled not to laugh. "There's nothing wrong with a man who picks up after himself and keeps a clean house." 25%
This would bug me a lot. Any man who I thought was teaching my children either explicitly or implicitly that making beds and washing dishes is for "sissies" (read: it's women's work) would be in trouble with me.
Nate began fussing and Conway held out his arms. "Give to him to me." [sic]
The baby was the size of a football. "He's getting fat - you're feeding him too much." 26%
This is what he says to his sister about her baby.
After having sex with her, he's a total asshole.
"I want you to know..."
Conway stiffened. He'd woken up in enough beds with pink-flowered sheets to have learned that most morning-after conversations didn't bode well for him.
"That last night was special," she said.
He couldn't concentrate when she toyed with his nipple. "Isi... we can't do this again."
Her eyes widened and he felt like an ass. 61%
You ARE an ass.
He ghosts her after sex, like a total asshole and an immature piece of shit.
Two days had passed since Conway escaped her trailer through the bedroom window and she'd been a wreck, waiting for his call or text. She'd received neither, which had only added to her anxiety. 64%
He's a fucking coward. Coward. He can't stand up like a man and responsibly handle his actions and their consequences.
THEN, to top it all off, he buys the twin boys a dog without consulting Isi. One, she can't afford it. He knows this. Two, she works, you fucker. Who is going to be caring for this dog when she is working and trying to earn a degree all day? NEVER buy pets for people. NEVER. Even if you have their express permission, make sure to include them in the process and select animals they want/like. Buying a dog for kids without asking the parent(s) is a HUGE no-no and beyond stupid.
Then that puts Isi in the position of bad guy when she tells the kids the dog can't stay. :(
THINGS I LIKE
Isi. She's Latina, a single mother of two boys. She got them from sleeping with a married man.
She lives in a trailer park. She drives a 1996 white Toyota Camry. She waits tables.
She's on food stamps, welfare.
^^All these things make me really like her and also highlight why I think the American Romance line of Harlequin was a special line. Unlike other Harlequin lines which focus on billionaires and 'alpha CEOS' and blah blah blah, American Romance focuses on what I see more as 'real' people. Not everyone is rich - there are poor heroes and poor heroines. Heroines are divorced. Heroes are divorced. Both heroes and heroines are often single parents. Thomas is particularly bold here by making the father of Isi's boys a married man. (She didn't know he was married.) American Romance heroes and heroines can be recovering alcoholics. They can be flawed.
While American Romance features happy endings, happily-ever-after endings, and does hold up the idea of getting married and perhaps pregnancy as the ideal - I feel like it is a lot more 'real' than many other lines in Harlequin. The people suffer. They have real problems. Their lives are not a shiny fairy tale. They may not be people to idolize as perfect models. They fuck up.
And they fuck up like real people. It's not like in these romance novels where everything is dramatized and full of hand-wringing. It's more matter-of-fact.
I like that.
Conway Twitty isn't some rich "rescuer" who swoops down and elevates Isi and the boys lives. He's a pecan farmer. Sure, he's a lot better off financially than Isi, who is living the hard life, but he's not some rich savior.
Stunning scenes, handled in a matter-of-fact way, which I related to very much.
"I don't need to see a doctor. I'll be fine," she said.
"Let the doctor make that call." When he reached for the door handle, she snagged his shirtsleeve.
"I don't have health insurance."
He wasn't surprised. Isi worked part-time at the bar and by law Red didn't have to offer her benefits. "You got punched in the face because of me. I'll take care of the bill." It was the least he could do." 4%
The book also discusses much later how she doesn't have dental insurance and how much that worries her as a parent. This is real life. It reminds me of my own life and the life of my friends. One of my friends never ever gets ice in her drink. I once asked her why. It's because NOT EVERYONE CAN AFFORD GOING TO THE DENTIST, people. "I have cavities and ice hurts my teeth," she told me. I think middle-class and rich Americans probably don't even think about this shit. ANYWAY.
Was it okay to leave Isi and her kids alone after she'd taken a pain pill? What if a burglar tried to break into the trailer or the water heater caught on fire? Isi was in no shape to handle a crisis.
The least he could do after she'd taken a blow meant for him was stay the night and make sure she and her sons remained safe. As soon as she woke in the morning, he'd hightail it back to the farm. 6%
He stays with her. That earns him some points.
He's not bad with children, he's actually quite good with them. Which is part of the reason his violent reaction to being a father is so baffling. The book frequently talks about how he wants a long-term, stable marriage with a loving partner. BUT ABSOLUTELY NO KIDS. Thomas makes an attempt to explain this by saying he knows his dad and his grandfather and his great-grandfather were deadbeats who abandoned their kids and didn't support them. But it really in actuality doesn't make a lot of sense. I didn't feel like it held water.
I'm not going to analyze Conway Twitty's approach to bullying. I think some readers will agree with it and some will hate it.
He cleans up the house and does the dishes before he leaves. That's also extra points.
TWINS The twin boys are perfect or precious or too good. They can be good and they can be bad, just like real children.
BIZARRO PREGNANCY LAND This book has some seriously confused ideas about women.
Every single woman either has kids or wants kids. Conway Twitty is unable to find women who do not have or want kids. This is ludicrous.
Everyone acts like it is totally impossible for a woman to not want kids and not have kids. It's strange. Although there is one lesbian (briefly mentioned) in the book (no idea if she has kids or not), and Conway Twitty's brother Porter Wagoner is the only voice of reason in the book.
"What if she doesn't care that you don't want kids and she's only in it for the sex?" 63%
Conway Twitty is gobsmacked. This is the only time it is brought up that women might not be baby-hungry zombies. Otherwise, the book completely acts like there is no such thing as a woman who doesn't want children. o.O
HOW'S THE SEX, CARMEN?
It's not good. He doesn't believe in much foreplay, apparently. The two times we get a glimpse of what's going on in the bedroom he is just basically putting his penis inside her. Takes clothes off, puts penis inside. Not very exciting for a woman to read about or experience IME. Doesn't make any effort to make her feel good. Not big on foreplay.
She describes him as "amazing in bed," and I'm like, "Girl, you don't know what the fuck you are talking about." He's the third guy she's slept with in her life. I don't know, maybe those other two were complete trash and this guy seems like an upgrade, but IMO he is not bringing it and I would not be happy with him. Look at this:
"How do you want this? Hard and fast or slow and easy?"
"Let's save the slow and easy for next time." 59%
WHY do I often find this shit in romance novels? Allegedly written by women for women? WHY are female authors not allowing their female audiences to enjoy some fantasizing about foreplay and some good sex that they are probably not getting in their real life?!?!!? WHY.
There are some good authors who really write some heroes who are AMAZING in bed - for real amazing, not this fake shit - but it's surprisingly SURPRISINGLY rare. Usually heroines are fulfilling some man's fantasy, like, "Just stick it in me! I don't need or even want foreplay! I'm always instantly ready for you!" and I'm baffled because this is allegedly BY WOMEN and FOR WOMEN. Can you not with the brainwashing in just one fucking genre? We can't have this? NO?
Sad that you not only have to give up on finding happiness in sex IRL but it's difficult to find in fantasyland as well. :(
Sigh.
TL;DR Problematic book, Thomas makes that clear from the get-go when she opens with this comment about 'hooters.'
I didn't like the hero. He wasn't a brutal asshole, but he was selfish and cowardly.
That being said, it wasn't terrible. There were things I liked and admired about the book. Even the hero had some redeeming features. I enjoy the realism and straightforwardness that I think the American Romance line of Harlequin tries to bring to the table. Isi has real problems and Conway Twitty is no rich savior for her. Instead, the book takes a more quiet and realistic approach to life.
P.S. There were some noticeable errors / typos in this book. You can see some of them in my quotes. I expect better from Harlequin, frankly.
ROMANCE CATEGORIES Contemporary Romance Holiday/Christmas Romance Multicultural/Interracial Romance - She's Latina and he's white. Non-Virgin Heroine She's a Waitress working toward her Associate's Degree in Business; He's a Pecan Farmer
I loved this book. Conway and Isi were perfect for each other. Conway would really like to find a wife and settle down, but he wants a woman who doesn't want kids. He is one of six boys who all have different fathers. As a boy he felt the lack of a father so when he was old enough he went looking for his. What he found was a man who had no problem walking away from his responsibilities, as did his grandfather. Conway was afraid that this meant he would do the same thing, so he would just avoid being a father. He thought he had found the perfect woman in Isi, until he discovered that she was a single mother. Instead, they became friends with Isi spending a lot of time listening to Conway's dating woes and Conway hearing about her college classes and her kids. When Isi loses her babysitter Conway gets roped into filling in. Conway discovers that hanging around with the twins isn't as hard as he thought it would be. I loved the way that he plays with the boys but also ends up being a role model. I loved the part where he sat in on their preschool class to find out what was going on with the kids who were bullying them. There are some great scenes with them at a rodeo and also when he has them at the pecan farm. He panics when the boys ask them to be their daddy, still fearing that he's not up to the task. I also loved the way that he got closer to Isi as they spent more time together. As he learned more about her life he was impressed by her determination and the way she has overcome so many obstacles. I loved the way it was Dixie who pointed out to him that his feelings for Isi were very different than those of his father for his mother. The Christmas Eve scene at the farm was lovely.
Isi is a woman who has overcome amazing odds. She grew up in Argentina in a very poor family. Her brothers became part of a gang in order to get the money to support the family. They were killed in a shooting, leaving Isi with just her mother, who died when Isi was eighteen. Isi then moved to America for a better life. She fell for a man, but found out after she got pregnant that he was married. She has been raising her twins by herself, working at the bar at night and going to classes during the day. When she met Conway she was immediately attracted to him, loving his carefree outlook on life. When he makes clear that he doesn't do relationship with mothers, she settles for being his friend. I loved the way that she tried to stay out of the way of the buckle bunny at the beginning of the book but ended up in the middle of it. She was surprised at Conway's care of her after that. I loved seeing him feel guilty over it and how she used that guilt to get him to babysit at the beginning. She was really surprised at how good he was with the boys considering how anti-fatherhood he was. While she didn't necessarily agree with the way he did everything, she was impressed by the effect he had on her sons. She was worried about what would happen when he was no longer in their lives on a daily basis. Seeing him with the boys just made her love him more because she could see what a good father he would be. She also found she was willing to give in to the attraction even knowing there was no future in it. I really enjoyed the way she got to know Conway's brother Will and allowed Will to give Conway the impression there was something between them. It just reinforced her knowledge of how much he cared but how afraid he was. The Thanksgiving get-together was a lot of fun. Isi admitted how envious she was of his family and how she longed for something like that for herself and her sons. I loved her Christmas surprise.
Conway Cash is determined not to date a woman with kids or a woman who wants kids, because he comes from a long line of cut-and-run fathers and worries he'll do a runner when the going gets tough. I'll give my thoughts on Conway later! However, after a punch meant for him breaks the nose of long-time friend Isi Lopez, he steps up to babysit her twin four-year-old sons Javier and Miguel so that she doesn't miss any work. He quickly falls for the whole family, but his belief he had "bad dad syndrome" in his DNA stops him from committing.
I did like this romance, but heavens above, Conway did my head in! What a selfish, stupid prat! While I believe every person has a right to decide whether they want kids or not, Conway's reasoning is such chicken-s*** bullshit! Avoiding kids or having kids because you think your DNA will lead you to let them down? Ludicrous! All that shows me is that Conway has zero faith in himself and refuses to take responsibility for his actions! And boy, his actions throughout the book speak louder than words! I mentioned several of them in the comments.
* Ducking a punch knowing full well there is a woman standing behind him. * Admitting Isi's talk about her family had gone in one ear and out the other because he was too busy thinking about other things. * Setting his brother up on a date with her! * Throwing a punch at his brother due to jealousy over said dating. I do not go for "heroes" willing to punch another family member. * Then he buys them a freaking dog without thinking how Isi is supposed to care for another mouth to feed despite living paycheck to paycheck! * By the end, he doesn't even have to apologise or answer for his appalling behaviour!
So why three stars? Javier and Miguel were adorable! Believable and non-precocious four-year-olds. And Isi was a good heroine, working hard to care for herself and her family. While I thought Conway was a tool, I'm glad she got the fairy-tale family she was hoping for!
Conway Twitty Cash has one rule --never date a woman with kids. As a teenager he searched and found his father who was never around in his life. He discovered he came from a long line of fathers who had abandonment issues. Figuring he would end up the same type of father he wanted to meet a woman who was "the one". One that would be OK without having kids. When he met Isi Lopez he thought he found his "the one" until he discovered she had twin boys. They became best friends, one he could go to with all his dating problems.
Isi Lopez has had to overcome a lot in her young life. She's lost both parents and her twin brothers. All alone she came to the US and started to build a life. Unfortunately meeting the wrong man, she became pregnant with twins only to find out he was already married. Now going to school to give her twin boys a better life and working to make ends meet, she finds herself in a bind when her babysitter quits and the only person available to help is the one man who says no kids.
Conway knowing he owes Isi agrees to help out with the twins. What he didn't expect was the feelings he would have toward the boys and the deeper feelings he's getting toward Isi. Trying to keep his feelings toward the boys and Isi is becoming harder. His biggest fear is he will leave Isi and the boys just like own father did, and he would also lose his best friend.
After reading book one in the Cash Brothers Series (The Cowboy Next Door) I thought Johnny Cash would remain my favorite brother. Have to say Conway has taken the lead. It was nice to read how someone with as big a heart as he has, let the barriers be broken down so he could see just what type a man he is.
“In a nutshell, this delightful, romantic tale by Marin Thomas is about finding “the one”, healing past hurts, learning to appreciate what you have now and trusting yourself to make things work. While it is devoid of heavy drama that some (picky) readers may wish to find in books of the same genre, its positive take (on family, responsibilities and love) and its realistic portrayal of everyday life make it an engaging read.
Ok, so the cover might fool you. but the blurb definitely say it all. I find that I have to put my cover feelings aside when I see this one because Twins Under The Christmas Tree by Marin Thomas is so good.
Meet Conway Twitty Cash, one of those infamous Cash Brothers and the so-called handsomest of the bunch. Conway has women falling at his feet and hardly ever says no..... unless the lady in question has kids or wants them in the future because Conway has sworn off being a daddy...ever, but he is in search of "the one".
Isadora Lopez hasn't had a stellar life so far, but the one thing, or should I say two things she definitely got right are her handsome little devil twin 4 year old sons, Javier and Miguel. Single mom Isi is all alone in the world with her sons since the father of the boys has basically denied them. Said deadbeat and rodeo cowboy never told Isi he was already married. Isi is one determined lady, a hard worker, college student and mom. She's also been Conway's "therapist" for the past few years as Conway frequents the establishment Isi waitresses at. Attracted to her at first, Conway quashed that any inkling of a relationship when he found out Isi was the mom of twins, but they have been constant friends. Isi always hears about Conway's antics with the female population in search of his perfect mate, doling out advice when necessary.
One evening trouble comes to the Border Town Bar and Grill when an insistent wannabe girlfriend seeks Conway out and ends up hurting Isi in the melee. To make up for Isi's injury and her subsequent loss of a babysitter, Conway offers to step in as sitter to the twins. Reluctant but in need, Isi accepts since she has to waitress as well as work towards her impending December graduation. Low and behold, the anti children cowboy Conway likes the boys and they adore him. The closer Conway gets to the boys the closer he becomes to Isi, but it isn't what he wants. In a constant stupor of denial, Conway can't see what's right in front of his face. Even with his ease with taking care of the boys and his still being attracted to Isi, Conway still thinks "the one" is still out there, but it's not the pretty mom of twin boys he can't get out of his mind.
Twins Under The Christmas Tree by Marin Thomas is a fabulous story. Conway really is a great guy, even with his rule of not dating women with kids. He has his reasons though they are almost a cloud hanging over his head. Isi is the ultimate female character, she wants for nothing and works for everything she has. She is real and so deserving of so much more. She strives everyday to make a better life for her and her beloved sons. She knows Conway would is the perfect man for her, if only the oblivious man would wake up. Twins Under the Christmas Tree by Marin Thomas is a great read for anytime of the year. It tugs at your heartstrings and even even extracts some tears. I highly recommend this book. I enjoyed it and know you will as well.
4.7 Star Review - Twins Under The Christmas Tree (The Cash Brothers # 2)
I recommend this book.
I enjoyed this book by Marin. This book includes passion, laughs, heartache, and jealously.
If you have not read the below from this series I would recommend reading those books first they are all by Marin.
A Cowboy's Duty - This is the Sister's Story it's optional
The Cowboy Next Door - This is Johnny's Story
Conway Twitty Cash is looking for “the one” but it seems like everyone he tries to date has kids or wants them. He has decided that he will never be a father so he needs to find someone that does not have kids and does not want them. After finding out his latest date has a child he leaves the rodeo early and goes to the Border Town Bar & Grill where his friend Isadore “Isi” Lopez works. His date finds him there and takes a swing at him only to hit Isi.
Isi is Conway’s best friend. They shared some kisses but as soon as he found out she had kids the kisses stopped. Rather than lose each other they are friends. Conway comes into the bar a talks to Isi about his woman and about finding the one. She is attracted to Conway but knows he does not want kids. So she will settle for being friends.
After her sitter quits Conway agrees to watch the twin boys for her while she goes to classes and works. He has fun spending time with the boys. They go Trick or Treating together and help him with the Pecan farming. After seeing her boys with Conway Isi realizes they need a male role model so she goes on a date but it’s a disaster. Conway decides he will fix her up with his “safe” brother Will.
Things start falling apart between Conway and Isi after they spend the night together. It gets even worst when the twins ask something of Conway he is sure he cannot give them. Conway tries to give the boys a puppy to make up for disappointing them but that does not work out well....
Read the book to get answers to the below:
Is Will a safe bet to date Isi?
Why is Conway so against being a father or dating someone with kids?
What did the boys ask of Conway?
The twins are both so cute in this story. I love that you can really feel the twins and Conway bond in this story. The chemistry between Isi and Conway is great. I felt that I was watching a few friends fall in love right in front of me. Granted there were times I wanted to smack Conway…. But all in all a really great read!
Look forward to the next books in this series out in 2014.

Great story about a woman with young twin boys, who works hard to support them, along with going to school to try to make a better life. She deserves a break & wants Conway, who considers her a friend. Conway wants Isi, too, but doesn't think he will be a good father, due to family history. Conway may be my newest book boyfriend! I like that the Cash family siblings all get involved & trying to see them to a HEA! Looking forward to the next book in the series!
Conway Cash and Isi Lopez. Two people who have known each other for a long while through the bar she works at. He comes to her for advice and considers her his best friend. Unfortunately for him, Isi has a set of precocious twin boys and Conway has vowed to never have children. One day Isi is badly in need of a babysitter and guess who is tagged? You will enjoy this book as much as I did! Can't wait to read about the next brother!
Looking forward to settling into this story! Thank you Marin & Firstreads!
I love a good solid romance novel and this fits the bill quite nicely. Isi and Conway were perfect for each other, we could all see that, and thankfully by the end they could see it too.
Too often, children can take over a story, but the twins just added to the story - not too precocious, not too bratty, just perfect.
Loved the story - now I have to go find the others!
"The second Cash Brothers story is a delight to read. Watching the hero be won over by two rambunctious boys and their intelligent and tenderhearted mother makes for a charming tale." RT Book Reviews, rated 4 stars

"I recommend this book. I enjoyed this book by Marin. This book includes passion, laughs, heartache, and jealousy." From review posted on harlequin.com, to read full review go HERE> http://www.harlequin.com/storeitem.ht...
This book was awesome. The twins are so darn cute. And Conway trying to resist them (and their mom) was awesome. I loved the interaction Conway had with his family too. So many funny moments in the book (Conway ducking a punch, cheerios, the old lady babysitter). Just an fun, happy read. I really enjoyed it.
Loved this book. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down. The dynamic between Conway and Isa is great. And the twins just melted my heart. This is a great read!!
Cover: 3/5 on the cheese-o-meter. The cover is probably really only a 2, but the title bumped it up in cheesiness.
Story: 3/5 (actual story); 2/5 on the cheese-o-meter (sadly lacking the cheese I was hoping for)
I have to say, the twins in this book stole the show for me. The romance between Conway and Isi was predictable as I knew it would be. However, the twin 4 year old boys were so cute that it was a more enjoyable story. Seriously though, they talk more like they are 5 or 6 though. My own son is currently 4 and I've hung out with him and his little friends and they don't talk like Miguel and Javier do. But that's okay, it didn't really matter. They were super cute and made me laugh. Not much to say about the rest of the story. Conway decides he doesn't want kids and has been resisting it for years. But after a short conversation with his sister on a porch swing, she eases his mind and he decides to get together with Isi. Damn... he should have talked to his sister years ago. haha whatever. It's dumb, but never-before-mentioned love wins the day! :) I actually wish there was a bit more cheese in this one, and there really wasn't that much holiday in it either. It really shouldn't be classified as a Christmas book. They spent more time in Halloween.
Oh how Conway wanted to be a father and a husband but, he wasn’t sure he could be. Ise being his best friend and her boys bringing him happiness. Could he be what she and the boys needed?
This is the second book in The Cash Brothers Series and don't let the cute little boys on the cover fool you, there is a hot Cash Brother inside!
Conway Twitty Cash does not want to be a father. He is afraid he will turn into the type of disappearing father his was. So to avoid it, Conway avoids women with children. Doesn't matter how great they are, if they have kids they are out!
Until Isi changes things. He always knew she has twins so they are just friends but when they are thrown together more and more Conway finds himself in a situation he hasn't before...does he really want the woman and the boys? To have a family with children?
I loved this book even though sometimes I wanted to smack Conway. But I'm sure I'll want to smack the next Cash Brother in book 3 when it comes out a time or two in there story. :)
Conway Twitty Cash wants to settle down but he doesn't want to be a father. He's taken over the pecan farm and is in charge of this year's plot and doesn't do much rodeoing these days. Accidentally he gets his 'therapist' Isi hurt and he feels obligated to help her out. That means babysitting her 4 year old twin sons while she finishes her last college class and works. He fights it all the way and it gets a little worse after he sets her up with his brother Will. A really good story. I like the kids and their interaction. She keeps it real. I love the confrontation with the boys father and what Conway told him. I also like that we have all the family still involved with the new story.
Conway Twitty Cash (love the name) will never date a woman with kids. But he does want to settle down and have a wife. Isi, a young mom with young twin boys. She works hard to support them, along with going to school to try to make a better life for herself and her boys. When Isi's babysitter bails on her Conway agrees to help her out and watch the twins while she attends school and works the night shift. With time and little help from the twins, Conway rethinks his thoughts on dating a woman with kids. Can a woman with kids win his heart?
This is book 2 in The Cash Brothers series. Here we meet Conway Twitty Cash and single Mom Isi Lopez and her adorable sons Miguel and Javier. I loved this book. Conway does not realize that he is a good man and father until he learns to love Isi and her sons. The twins steal this book at times and I cried when Conway proposed. I highly recommend this book. It's on my keeper shelf. I would give it 10 stars.
Conaway is my favorite brother that I have read in the series he has a true heart and hopes to bring things to live such as love. But he does not want children that is what I found amazing was that he fell in to the role of a father without almost any thought even though that was the last thing he wanted to do. I find that Isi is an amazing character who is strong and very loving. 3/5 stars
Conway Twitty Cash doesn't want to date women with kids but finds himself falling for a friend and she has twins. As he helps his friend Isi, he finds himself loving the boys too. He starts to rethink his original theory, can a woman with kids win his heart?
