That night… When Dr. Evan Hunter had no resistance to Dr. Violet Connelly in her silver dress and spiked heels…
That night… When her kiss made him forget he was her boss, and the consequences of his actions…
And the next day… It was as if nothing had ever happened. Because nothing could happen between them. Ever. Until they are sent to Africa on a vaccination campaign together, where the hot climate and the less than ideal sleeping arrangements make working together difficult—and forgetting that night impossible!
I thought this book, rather than the first, was the better of the two. It had more fleshed out characters and progression to the relationship along with the drama of working with the DPA. I also think it touched on a potentially sensitive subject in a respectful way.

The only thing, do American doctors use the term "theatre" for the OR? I've never heard the term on TV shows (fictional and reality) and always assumed it was a UK thing (Like A&E - Accident & Emergency for the ER and such). It seemed a bit off is all, to hear it come from US doctors. Not a big deal, but thought I'd mention it.
