They say the only good thing about hitting rock bottom is that it can't get any worse . . . or can it?

World famous boxing champ, Felix Sanchez, had it all—the fame, the fortune, and all the women any man could ask for. When the hours of partying followed by hours spent in court and in rehab begin to outnumber the hours he spends training, losing his title comes as no surprise to everyone. The world assumes he deserved to lose it.

Only those closest to Felix know the real truth behind his sudden downward spiral. And if Felix has his way, no one else ever will. With an uncertain future ahead of him, he heads back to his roots—5th Street—the gym that started it all for him. It's where he meets the humble but mighty little Ms. Ella.

The only times Felix had ever decided to forgo the usual meaningless fling and try a real relationship he was burned badly. Now the adorable but tenacious self-defense instructor has him considering this love thing one more time.

Then just when he begins to worry that his past is letting his possessive and jaded heart get the best of him, he's blindsided in the most brutal way—he's brought to his knees—to what could be the one low in his life he may never recover from.

Elizabeth Reyes is one of the first authors that got me back into reading, and introduced me to New Adult and no matter how many books I read of any kind, I always like to come back to her books.

Felix is the final book in the 5th street series and I've got to say, one of my favorites. Felix was introduced in the second book and despite all the trouble, I really wanted to get more of his story. And getting his story and seeing how much life has messed with him really made me feel more sad and desperate for him to get his happily ever after.

Ella is such a strong heroine, it the thing that immediately made me like her. She also has had a very hard life but instead of letting it make her weak, it made her strong. She's the youngest in the 5th street clan but she's definitely the bravest. When her and Felix finally meet, I could tell that they would be perfect together and they were what both would need in their lives.

Sometimes it felt like everything was going against them but unlike most couples in book who jump to conclusions and start unnecessary drama, these two were rational and always talked to each other first before assuming anything. I loved the amount of trust they had for each other and you continuously see it throughout the book.

There were a few things that bothered me throughout the book *cough* annoying ex's *cough* and I would have liked some more details in some parts but overall I loved it. I'm sad that this will be the final book in the series but I'm happy with how it's ends and I know that whenever I miss the gang, they're only a click away.

Damn. Not my favorite 5th Street book. I was so excited for the release of Felix. Unfortunately I thought it was just okay.

Felix is out of control. Since losing his title and Bianca and something even more painful, Felix has been partying, smoking, bed hopping, and just being an all around arrogant celebrity jackass.

But once he meets Ella, the mighty young woman who's an advocate for women's self-defense, at a 5th Street function, he's immediately smitten. Like 'ready to give up carousing and debauchery at the drop of a hat' kind of smitten. It was highly unbelievable that he would never have any slip ups when he had so many with Bianca.

And Ella. I liked her okay. She was passionate and I liked that she didn't let the tabloids affect her. She isn't the 'run away never answering her phone' kind of girl. But she had me continuously rolling my eyes when it came to Grayson, her ex-boyfriend.

Okay ladies don't you agree that when you have a new boyfriend, especially an alpha, out of respect for him you need to cut ties with ex-boyfriends? Especially when they declare they're still in love with you? Yeah. I thought so. But no, Ella keeps leaning on him and making excuses for his territorial behavior.

Also, I think every bad thing that can happen to a person was thrown in this book. It was depressing. The epilogue was okay but overall I was disappointed. Hector, you're still my fave.

“You are who you choose to be.”

I’ve always loved Elizabeth Reyes’ books, they’re always so well written and flawless. They capture me and I get swept away. I was dying to get to Felix’s story; the cocky bad boy, fierce fighter and player extraordinaire. I had no idea that what I was in fact in for was one of the more emotional stories in this series because of what came to be. Both Felix and Ella had my heart bleeding.

“Your scars are a symbol of your strength.”

I did find the first half of this story quite slow and repetitive. However, once the real heartfelt emotion kicked in and we discovered what Felix was inherently all about as things developed with Ella, it had me riveted. My heart broke and melted in equal measure. This couple are all about bravery, trust and love and I completely believed in their relationship.

Ella was a lovable, strong and inspirational heroine. This young girl knew who she was; what she wanted and showed courage in her conviction. She was a sweetheart and at times I was amazed at the weight she carried on her shoulders.

“Mighty Little Ms. Ella.”

My heart ached for this beautiful girl and absolutely, Felix knew that Ella was incredibly special, she was his soul mate. They were exactly what each other needed and the attraction was intense and believable. It wasn’t an easy ride though; what they went through individually and together was quite something. Some moments were so emotional and Felix showed his true lovable, understanding and protective nature.

“We’ll start with the story of us, just as soon as you say you’re in this all the way.”

Felix, wow, his story broke my heart. I did not see that coming and I had tears as the reasons behind his reckless behaviour were revealed. I did find that Ella’s strong character and story overshadowed Felix’s through most of this book however, this was not necessarily a bad thing. To be honest, it felt quite refreshing.

I feel a bit sad that this series has come to an end as I’ve really enjoyed every book. Noah is still the one that stands out for me and has to be my favourite. On a last note; I kind of want to give Elizabeth Reyes a standing ovation for the epilogue we got in Felix. What a fantastic way to end a series I bloody loved it!!

Of ALL books i read by Elizabeth Reyes..."Felix" is my absolute favourite of them all.The "5th Street" series consists of sexy Alpha-Male fighters that all find the love of their lives.

And in this one it`s Felix Sanchez, the world famous boxing star.He is one of the greatest badboys i have met up with, but it all will change when he meets the ONE woman that will bring him to his knees:the humble Ella Castellano.

Felix is one of the most wonderful heroes ever!He is so tortured,so passionate and so manly i JUST WANTED HIM FOR MYSELF!He fell so much in love with Ella that he lives only for her,and the twist in the near end almost killed me,cuz Felix pain and heartbreak was too much.

Ella was an uniqe heroine of Reyes.Reyes describes her more naturally than any other heroines,so i was with her in her every decision.
Ella`s and Felix romance doesn`t start with instalove,or even "attraction at first sight" kind of way, which is unusual for Reyes books. But it flowes beautifully and naturally and only stronger. This was an great end to this series, and i know that i will re-read this book after one year or half, cuz this is my fifth time reading this AMAZING book by Elizabeth Reyes!

I cannot explain the emotions that were brought out of me with this book. Elizabeth has done it again to me. FELIX's book has made me laugh, cry, scream and get violent with my kindle. Felix's love for Ella is inspiring. And Ella's strength is admirable. Elizabeth you are an amazing and I really mean amazing writer. I won't write much about the book because I don't believe in spoiling the adventure for anyone. Enjoy this book and the others that Elizabeth has written, you won't regret it.

I so much enjoyed this book.
And Felix in the beginning did not relate to me, but afterwards I was like 'oh you are such a sweetheart'...
And Ella, I loved her no drama attitude. She and Felix just worked for me from the beginning.

Definitely a good romance story

The epilogue was a favorite for me, checking on the rest of the group, loved it...

Definitely a good ending to an awesome series.

got an ARC from the author herself for an honest review & I have to say WOW! this book was OUTSTANDING, in a word. I am very sad to see this amazing series end but I LOVE every aspect of the story, snotty ugly cry and all. Gio will always be my most favorite 5th Street story but Felix knocked Abel out of second place.

I'm a bit disappointed with this story. It's my least favourite of the series. Noah remains my favourite.
When Felix's boxing career falls apart, he returns to his roots at the 5th Street Gym. It's here he first meets Ella who runs a women's self defence class. She's not the usual type of woman he goes for, but she very quickly gets under his skin. While there was a lot to like about this story, there is plenty that I didn't like.
Ella's ex Grayson WTF that was dragged out for way too long.
The illness near the end I didn't see why the author added that. Plus it was glossed over one minute she's ill then the next she's all better!
Felix's character was totally different to how he had been portrayed in Gio, he was toned down a lot. He certainly wasn't the victim that he was made out to be in this.
Ella was just okay for me, I felt she strung Felix along quite a bit, while refusing to stop talking or having anything to do with Grayson, despite his possessive and stalkerish behaviour. It was really annoying.
It was nice to see all the other characters from the previous books. I gave this three stars because overall this has been one of my favourite series.

My Thoughts:

The 5th Street Series is a gem. It is a rare treasure in which every single book and character is unique and memorable. These stories completely hook you, until you find yourself addicted, and craving the next one. I literally have each of these books on my bookshelves of favorite books. These characters have buried themselves so deeply in to my heart, and I love each and every one of them. Felix was outstanding. It was the most emotional story in the series, and I wasn't expecting how it would wreck havoc on my emotions. I cried throughout this story, and it resonated deeply in my bones. What a beautiful story! Ms. Reyes is a one of a kind author. She is brilliant in the stories she creates. Her characters feel so real!

After reading Gio's story, Felix was my least favorite character. The way he cheated on Bianca and lacked respect for woman was a real turn-off. In the beginning of his story, we see him leading a life of excess. He is wealthy, sleeps with a variety of women, makes bad decisions, and doesn't seem to appreciate all that he has. When he meets the dynamic "Little Miss Ella," everything changes!

Ella has had her share of tragedies. She lost a sister to gang violence, a mother to Cancer, and has fought to bring self defense classes to her neighborhood, after her brother's girlfriend, Sonia, was raped. She is a woman full of integrity, grit, loyalty, and strong will. Ella has been working at fifth Street teaching her classes alongside Sonia and her best friend Carmen. She has become close with Nellie, Charlie, and Drew. She has avoided meeting Felix, because of the rumors that she has heard about him. However, Felix is set to be working at 5th street for an extended period of time. When Nellie introduces the two of them, sparks fly! Felix has never met any woman like Ella, and the more he learns about her, the more she intrigues him. Ella gets to know the real Felix, and loves who he is. These two have a lot of challenges to overcome. Can they get through it all?

My heart broke for both Felix and Ella. We learn about a secret tragedy that Felix had to endure. This tragedy was soul crushing, and after it was revealed, I understood Felix more. I realized that while had made some mistakes, he grew up, and we all know how tragedy can change a person's life forever. I respected Ella, and admired her character. She was unbelievably strong and resilient. Together, Felix and Ella were a perfect match. I loved how sweet and gentle Felix was with Ella. He cherished the person she was and every moment that they spent together. I loved how beautifully Felix and Ella fit together!

It was awesome getting to see Noah, Roni, Gio, Bianca, Hector, Charlie, Abel, Nellie, and all of the babies! The 5th Street Family is very special to me, and I enjoyed how Ms. Reyes wrote the Epilogue by alternating the guys perspectives! Ms. Reyes always writes the best endings!

My Rating:

Felix was a story with depth, humor, romance, sex appeal, chemistry, and friendship! Felix and Ella's characters were extremely likable. This is a story that everyone will be able to relate to. It was beautiful and memorable! I give Felix, by Elizabeth Reyes, 5 Extraordinary, Emotional, Empathetic, and Erotic Stars! 5th Street Fans, you're in for one very special and memorable story! If you haven't read anything by Elizabeth Reyes, what are you waiting for? She's one of the best storytellers and is at the top of my favorite authors list!!!

My Favorite Quote:

"When they truly love you, they love hard. You'll feel it and there will be no question about it. True love at its purest is something that cannot be faked, not even by the best cons out there." (ARC Pg. 329)

I have loved all the books in this series so I had high hopes for Felix's story and the last in the 5th Street Series (sadly). In the prologue Felix is just how I remember him from the other books. A bit of a bastard and a bit cocky and full of himself. However, when the story starts and he meets Ella he turns into a bit of a softie! Yes he has elements of an alpha male but not having had many serious relationships Felix is stunned by his feelings for Ella and she is totally different from the girls he normally goes for. In fact she is described as quite plain but to Felix she is beautiful.

I liked Ella and Felix. Ella is 21 but very mature for her age (we don't get told Felix's age but I'm guessing in his 20's). Theirs is a nice sweet love story with them both deciding to be honest with each other. There is no angst. They fall in love and apart from a little jealousy on Felix's side their story was a good one. I always like how this author paces her stories. The couple don't meet and jump straight into bed together. The romance is always slow burning.

I love this authors writing style. She hooks you in straightaway and the story always flows well. However, at 80% the author decided to give this couple a bit of a challenge. I don't want to spoil it for other readers but for me, it ruined what would have been a five star read for me. I admire the author for tackling such a storyline but for me personally, I don't like to read things like that in romances. It actually left me feeling a bit down whereas to me, romances should make you feel good. There is a lot of telling not showing to move the story along and I was assuming this part took place over quite a large space of time so I was confused by by the timeline when near the end we are told it's only been a few months.

However, the epilogue redeemed things and I thought it was great to see all the 5th street guys with their wives and children and each of them given a section told from the guys POV. I'm sad to see this series come to an end. I just felt a bit sorry that Felix and Ella got a bit of a tough deal compared to the other couples. I look forward to reading what this author comes up with next.

Wow! When I started this book I had no idea of how huge of an emotional story this was gonna be. I admit with Felix's reputation, I figured the book would focus on that & that is where the drama would be. Boy was I wrong & blindsided! Felix has intrigued me forever, poor guy never catches a break in love & was betrayed by two people closest to him so I was interested to see who would catch his eye. Ella is so sweet, kind, loving & understanding. To be so young and yet have been through so much she turned into quite a young lady. Felix's back story broke my heart & I'm glad he was honest with Ella & was willing to go at this 110%.
I'll admit I became aggravated with him somewhat but then he pulled his head out of his ass & meant business. There was no cheating, thoughts of cheating or anything juvenile. What these two went through together was awe inspiring. I'll never forget the scene where Felix went down on one knee & cried for everything he had lost & may lose. My heart fractured right along with his. These two loved hard & beautifully. I am glad this book put me through the ringer emotionally because it made me appreciate them even more. I'm glad we got an epilogue of all the characters & that Felix & Ella are happy and whole. Great final installment, definitely nice to avoid cheating drama.

Wow!! This is bittersweet. I am to excited to have read Felix but sad all the same because it is the final book... This book is amazing just like the rest of the 5th Street series!! Felix is a such and emotional love story, tears will definitely fall as some point while reading.. I love Ella in this book, but sometimes I wished I could yell at her for doing things she knew Felix would get angry about. I never expected Felix to be such and emotional read... They took you on a up and down ride of emotions..

THIS IS TRULY A MUST READ!!

It’s the last 5th Street story and I have no problem admitting that it was hard to start and finish this book knowing that this world was opened to me a few years ago and would close the moment I read the last word. Granted, I know that I always have to books to go back and re-read (and I will) but it is still just sad that I don’t get to read more about these wonderful men – the 5th Street guys.

So, what did I think? I absolutely loved it! I will say that I had some iffy feelings for Felix during the other books because he was a little rougher than the other guys. I knew deep down he was good but he sure did create some problems every once and a while. However, this attitude that he presented made me excited to read about him, because I know that Elizabeth would do a wonderful job writing his story and making me fall in love with him…which she did!

I don’t think that I ever connected with a 5th Street guy more than I did with Felix. All of them were great, but Felix was a little different. Like I said before, he was a little rougher, but it was the back-story behind him that won my heart over. It was also the way he treated Ella that made my heart soar even more. As a character, Felix truly struggled with his life and the choices that he made but Ella made him rethink all of it and their relationship was beautiful. So beautiful that I actually cried reading the amount of hope and love that they had for each other and I cried because of the struggles that they went through.

I remember going over to Jackie’s house one day and she held up the book that we received from Elizabeth (THANK YOU!) and said, “Lookie what we got.” I immediately snatched it out of her hands and didn’t give her the choice to read it first. When I finished it and dropped it off a few days later, I told her, “Be ready, it will make you love Elizabeth, Felix, and you will cry.”

This book was a fantastic end to a wonderful series. Thank you Elizabeth for sharing their stories with us.

So I know I said that Noah's story was my favorite but now I have a tie. Felix's story was so good to read. I cried, laughed, and loved the intensity of Felix's love for Ella. This book is different than any of the books she has ever written. It touches on a subject that not many people write about and shows how this disease affects everybody in the family. All the guys stick together as brothers and are there for Felix through one of the toughest times of his life. I love how Gio and Felix make up and helps Felix deal with a loss that no parent should have to go through. Ella was what Felix needed. His whole attitude changes for the best and he makes a lot of changes in his life for her. Felix stops the partying, drinking, doing drugs, sleeping around, and smoking all because he wanted to be the man that Ella deserved. I can't say too much about what they went through because I'm afraid I might give it away but I can say that they were each other's lifeline. Way to go Elizabeth!!! This is not your typical love story because it touches on some very serious issues. Don't expect hot love scenes because the book doesn't focus on that but do expect a love story that is very rare. Not many men do what Felix did for Ella. This is by far one of Elizabeth's greatest pieces of work.

Omg I LOVE FELIX & my 5TH STREET FAMILY!!! Let's talk about a great and beautifully talented author! Elizabeth Reyes is my absolute favorite author and has again managed to write the final book ending her 5th Street series. I hope this is not the last we'll hear about my 5th Street family because Felix's story was... OMG, WOW! LoL! That's the description I could give because you'll laugh, be angry, cry, then laugh and be awed all through the whole book! It's funny, romantic, heartbreaking, sexy, and just overall extremely detail oriented and wonderfully well written. The storyline is just amazing and it just gets more and more interesting, intense and breathtaking! As you read through not just this series but all of Elizabeth Reyes's books, you can get into the characters state of mind and even picture their journey and it's so refreshing to get the full story on all the characters. Thank you Elizabeth Reyes for (as Felix Sanchez would say) the ride! LoL!

Elizabeth does it again!! 5 Fat Stars! This book put me through an emotional roller coaster. After reading Gio’s book I didn't wanted to read Felix’s story he was a jacka** in Gio’s book but boy did Elizabeth turn that sh*t around. Felix was the typical alpha male and Ella is a strong independent women. Their story was amazing, the struggles they had between the past relationships it was not easy but worth every emotion I went through. Her books get better and better. It was such a great ending to this series. I’m hoping they continue to talk to her and we get a novella ;-) Great Job Elizabeth!

I'm so sad this series has come to an end! Loved all of the books!

Now to be honest, based on the previous books I was not really a fan of Felix due to his bad boy persona but he won me over in this book almost immediately.

This was really one crazy and emotional story and had me crying more than the other books.

And the epilogue at the end was a nice icing to the cake.
