After battling demons and druids, Dorothy wakes up in a hospital with no memories of who she is or what she has done for her people. Our journey continues as our fairy warriors try to remind Dorothy of who she is and what she means to them before it is to late.
Will they have enough time to remind her of who she is, so that she is ready to defeat the final threat and break the curse on the women of the O'Duggan family before anymore lives are lost? What will be the fate of Dorothy and her warriors as well as the people of Lee?

I was graced with the Fae of Lee books by the author. They are exceptional and I would recommend to everyone to pick up this author's books. she is an excellent writer. The story begins right where book 2 left off with the Dy, Declan, Ari in the hospital recovering from wounds from the explosion. Dy has lost her memory and thinks that Declan is her great love. But, Declan, who is bounded to Dorothy as he was made one of her warriors, is torn as he does love Dorothy but he also knows that Dorothy and Ari are and were meant to be. She is also pregnant with Ari's children. She is confused and her family, and especially Ari stay by her side to help her recover her memory.
A curse was placed on her and all the woman in her family and Declan decides he has to leave to try to break the curse and allow for Dorothy (who is very confused) to find herself again.
This is an excellent read. Thank you for the book series, C.L. Champlain
This was my favorite of all three books in this series! We find Dorothy (Dy) in a coma at the beginning... we've learned a lot about her family in the other books and know that there was a curse placed on the women of her family; by a member of her family no less; that says they will never truly be happy with their true love. So.... when Fiona (evil curse placing hag) shows up at the hospital and hears Dy ask about Declan before Ari.... well, let the curse ugliness begin! Dorothy has no memory of who or what she is and unfortunately because of the situation and the need to get her back to Lee Land to heal, Declan has to go along with the premise that he is Dy's husband to get her alone. Now let the fun begin.... because Dy thinks she is really in love with Declan. And poor Declan, he really does love her, his heart is not his own because of being bonded to Dy as her warrior. He can't stand being the cause of so much heartache, knowing that he must push her towards her true love and real husband Ari. So he decides to leave and try and find a way to break the curse put on her family. Tank decides to tag along with him (because as a former Marine, you never leave a man behind...or let him go out into the world to hunt evil curse placing hags on their own). And here we meet Lynna, who mirrors Dy and Ari's story a lot because she has been Declan's best friend since, well, since forever and she's in love with Declan. A lot of times when you have so many characters who play such pivotal parts in a plotline it gets confusing and hard to keep up with who is doing what....but CL Champlain does an amazing job of keeping it all easy to follow! I loved this story. And I cried... not pretty tears either! We lose someone we great to love in the second book... we lose someone we grew to love in the first book! Dy can't remember her love for Ari. Your heart breaks for the pain that Declan deals with throughout everything too. (And as a side note.... if pregnancy could really only be 3 months...wouldn't that be awesome!! Oh to be Fae!LOL) The story wraps up everything very nicely, but does leave an opening for perhaps a little more. It's a bit of a cliffhanger that leaves you thinking "Oh good grief, what now?!" But it does wrap up the storyline that we've been following since book 1 very nicely.
My favorite group of fairies returns in this third book in The Fae of Lee series. As the story begins, we find Princess Dorothy (Dy) and her friends in the hospital recovering from injuries that they sustained while kicking butt against Ari's dad and the Druids. An unwelcome visitor arrives and suddenly Dy can't remember anyone or anything. Declan sets out to find a way to break the curse over Dy's family, and restore her memories. We are introduced to Lynna, Declan's childhood best friend, who I absolutely loved. She is just as tough and witty as Dy.
There is more action and more at stake in this book than any of the others. Of course, the story made me laugh, but evoked all kinds of emotion. These books are not complex reading but the writing is very good and the story is well told. I want to read more from this author for sure.
At last I could read the end of the story. I did enjoy a lot reading it. Most parts are really good and funny. I had lot of feelings through the book, worried, sad, amused, happy and at some point angry with some characters and of course with the author but in the end I forgave her. Looking forward to reading her new stories. I received an ARC.
wow, this one was the best of the series. And without giving away any spoilers I'll just say that it's a good thing that I actually read the whole book to the end! LOL I was a little put out there for a while! What a great surprise ending. Keep writing. :-)
Wonderful conclusion of the Fae of Lee series. The twist at the end left me speechless, but the author leaves the door open for further novels about Dorothy, Ari, and all of their family members and friends. A must read!
